great find. close to venice village. excellent location , its right on the bike path that goes along intracoastal waterway, down to the beach. if u go over the bridge it connects to the 40 mile Legacy Trail all the way to sarasota. would stay here again. they rent bikes at great prices, and even have e-bikes. units have kitchens.

The Place is great and clean! The owners Shaun and Debbie were very helpful with all our questions. The restaurant next door The Salty Dog is a plus as we got great service and food. The only downfall is the pool broke down and was out of order (not the owners fault things happen) but if you’re hoping to swim I’d call to see if it’s fixed yet. They had all the supplies to fit so hopefully it’s up and running before or next stay. The towels were so soft and the beds not terrible either. We stayed in #11. It’s close to everything and the downtown Venice area is very nice. Thanks again!!

This is a family run motel that is convenient to everything. The room was immaculate and the decor was very nice. Comfortable bed nice shower all the boxes checked. The pool is an absolute delight, and there’s even a grill in a tiki bar out by the pool area if you would like to take advantage of that. Debbie could not have been more accommodating. I will definitely be back and cannot recommend this highly enough..

Great place. They have done a good job of refurbishing it, very comfortable, good facilities, with pool and patio with tables and chairs, easy to find, plenty of parking. Restaurant next door Salty Dawgs is good too. Great hosts, friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay.

The property is well kept. Super clean, and the Tiki vibe makes you feel like you’re staying in Hawaii. The bike trial is basically in the same parking lot. They have a mini putt area, nice pool overlooking the canal with an entertaining deck for BBQs and hangout. I recommend and we will be back!

Perfect location, less than 5 minutes from Sharky's, the pier and dog beach. Short drive to Walmart and lots of nearby places to eat. At the canal so boat watching from the tiki bar was great. Pool is 8 foot deep and crystal clear. Rooms were clean, very well stocked with cooking stuff, large fridge, and cooktop. Owners are more like friendly neighbors than inn owners. By FAR one of the best small inn or hotel I've ever stayed at. Also really dog friendly, and a 2 mile walking trail to the beach is at the property along the canal.

Great family owed place. Loved the small family feel. They were amazing with our kids and gave them treats and made the experience wonderful. Rooms nesly renovated and were very clean. Everything needed was there. Pool was clean and warm. Pool chairs looked new. Great location. Walked next door for dinner one night. 5 minute drive to Caspersen beach. Cant wait to return again

The caretakers were nice but the room was stark with poor lighting ( a couch but no light to read by). There was no kleenex and the toilet paper was the cheapest possible (came apart). The facility is in the parking lot of a boat dealer - impossible to find at night! (they close at 9!). No one checked on or cleaned the rooms during the week

Very clean. Wonderful, helpful couple running the place. Beds comfortable. Enjoyed the kitchen area as I love to cook, except the sink is so small. Nice closet area. My labrador enjoyed her walks in the area very much. One of our favorite restaurants right next door. Very close to the Brohard Paw Beach. My only complaint is nothing the hotel can do anything about... the road traffic noise drove me nuts. My partner said it didn't bother him at all.

This was the second time staying there, it is a great place to stay with excellent service and room was one of the best place I have ever stayed. Manager Sean and Debbie, are so accommodating, they will do anything for you. The room is huge, coffee, small refrigerator and microwave, so clean and very comfortable. King bed with a seashell design. Pool small but great!!! Whole place is cute and so cozy. Sean will provide seashell locating equipment, you can rent electric bikes. Will stay again!!!!

This place was great! The room had a fun ocean vibe and was pet friendly. The extra cost for our dog was only $10 a night! A lot cheaper than most hotels and kennels. The staff was friendly and helpful with all of our questions. Location was great for the beach (5 minute drive) and night life. Loved that there was a full kitchen in the room. We will definitely stay here again! I would recommend some sort of sleep sound since it is close to the airport and right next to the draw bridge. Stay here!!! Good value and a cool updated 1970s vibe.

The place was as clean and neat as can be. Also, kind of a unique place. There is an airport directly across the street and the takeoff flight path for the plans goes right over the top of this place. It's right next to the highway and only a few feet away from the bridge which has a steel grade on top of it. When cars go over it it's pretty loud. If you don't mind a little noise, this is a great place.

My daughter and I stayed here for 2 nights. The husband and wife that run the place are amazing. They are friendly amd make you feel qelcomed right away. They also have beach stuff you can use if you dis not have any which is a nice touch as well. Our room was clean and had everything we needed including plates, pots and pans because there is a 2 burner stove in the room. The kon Tiki Inn sits out of the way and you would never know it is there but it sure is a cute treasure to know about.

Great location on the canal, within walking distance to the bike trail, very near the beach, very near downtown, and a great restaurant just a few steps away. The moment I checked in, I was offered a mai tai! (It was amazing, might I add). Owners are very kind! The room was newly renovated and you could tell they didn’t cut corners, it was done right! Comfortable, pretty and exceptionally clean! I’ve been coming to Venice off and on since I was a small child to hunt for shark teeth and I made a solo trip this year for my birthday- it really was everything I needed and it was just down the road from Sharky’s! I’m surprised this place isn’t always booked up. My new favorite place to stay when I make the trip. Stay here and you won’t regret it!

Owners thought of lots of little details like scissors in cutlery drawer, filled ice cube trays in freezer, and beach umbrellas, sifters (for finding shark teeth at nearby beaches), beach chairs, etc all free to borrow for the day!

We wont stay anywhere else when we're that way. The rooms are comfy and adorable and the owners of this place are unmatched. Unbelievably friendly and chill. Just want you want when you're staying away from home. We hungout wiith Shawn (the owner) a good bit of the time we were there and shared some good laughs. We'll b back for sure!!!

We had a great experience! The owners were so sweet. The room was clean and had every amenity we could have needed. The inn was in a perfect location, super close to the beaches, downtown area and stores/restaurants. Will definitely stay here again!!

The place was as clean and neat as can be. Also, kind of a unique place. The staff was extremely welcoming, friendly and went above and beyond. You can tell when you stay here how much effort and personal touches have gone into the rooms and look of the property. It is convenient to the trails and close to Venice Beach and pier.

The management staff are super friendly and helpful, and the place was spotlessly clean. They are in the midst of renovating the property but overall a great place to stay with pets. The one drawback is the odd location, kind of behind the marina (which isn't a problem) but under the drawbridge so cars going over create a fairly constant noise. Quiets down at night however. Not sure it's the ideal "beach vacation" location, but for short or even longer terms stays for those looking for a place in Vencie a great find!

The Kon Tiki Inn was a true hidden gem! Small and unique, it is very comfortable and the manager, Debbie, was so thoughtful and helpful. My room was large and well appointed. The kitchenette was greatly appreciated. The closet are was ample and the bathroom was updated. The king size bed was so comfortable! Pool area was awesome and there was plenty of areas to walk my dog.

This was a very small quaint property. If your looking for something besides the big hotels this place was great. It was recently remodeled. The managers of the property were great! They had open bar and a free bbq on Friday night. I would stay again.

I would 100% stay again! It's a hidden gem the owners are very nice and accommodating. The place is newly remodeled and very clean!!! It's also 5 minutes ti several great beaches,shopping, restaurants. They have kitchenettes with a Small stove and pots and pans for cooking small meals. Has a nice sized pool for the property also!

This place was amazing. All newly remodeled and pool was amazing. They even have a little bar where you can make your own drink. The owners are so sweet and they even show you to your room. We will definitely be staying again
