Studio 6 Albuquerque NM Midtown

The worst hotel experience I have ever had. Will never stay at a Motel 6 again.

Staff was nice. Room needed a good scrub. It was ‘tidy’ but needs a deep clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable.

The outside/ area to get to the place might look sketchy, but my room was just fine. Parking is a bit crowded, wasn’t sure if I’d have a good spot. Was glad to have a first floor option. The lock to the door was 100% no chance someone else could get in without the keycard. Loved that. Bed was huge, ac was good, decent sized tv and big fridge for a longer stay. Shower was interesting in the corner, it is opened faced and the shower faces funny I thought the curtain wouldn’t cut it but it did! Great for my overnight stay and I will save it for my next trip in ABQ

When we arrived we noticed toothpaste on the outside of the sink, hair in the shower, dirty spots on the sheets and a huge red stain on the side of the mattress pad (looked like a drink had spilled ) and on the table was a pack of cigarette rolling papers. We asked for a different room and found almost the same thing. Dirty sheets, hair in the tub, a ring on the nightstand left by a drink. We went back to the front desk and checked out. Left and found a different hotel. They either need new management or a new cleaning staff, or both.

This hotel was close to the hospital we had appointments at early the next day. Pet friendly, clean and comfortable.
