This hotel is easy to find, has convenient parking, and all of the staff was friendly. The beds were comfortable, relatively soft compared to many hotels. Our room had a king and a queen sized bed, perfect for our family of four. On site bar had local beer offerings, and breakfast was hot and good.

Although the hotel was very clean and aesthetically pleasing it was lacking in amenities. The hot tub was closed temporarily closed for the week, if I knew when I booked I wouldn't have stayed here. The tv only had cable that kept going blurry. The bar/restaurant closed by 8 pm each night. Construction started right outside at 630 am each morning. Overall though beds were comfy, breakfast was good, and inside was fairly quiet. One staff member was very nice others barely looked at you. I won't be returning.

Facility is nice and clean. Room rate is a tad high for the area. Fire alarm at 2am on first night because some idiot thought it would be a good idea to smoke in their room despite being a strict no smoking property was not appreciated. The entire hotel had to evacuate in below freezing temps. Attempted to use pool and hot tub but had to leave after only a few minutes because our eyes and nose were burning so bad due to extremely high chemical level in the air.

We always stay here when traveling through to Minnesota for business. We love it! It’s in a very convenient location, the parking lot is huge so if you’re like us and have a trailer of some sort there is no worries. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. It has awesome lodge decor and is very safe. They have their own bar & restaurant and the breakfast is awesome in the morning! We will most definitely continue to stay here!

The Lodge was very clean, friendly staff. Great breakfast. Quiet. Easy access from the highway. We did not use the pool or fitness room so I cannot rate those amenities. Free hot coffee available all day and evening which was nice touch. We would definitely return again if in the area.

Although our room seemed clean, there was former guests things in the room. Deodorant had dropped behind a table and leftovers in the fridge. The place seemed to nice to let things like that occur.

We enjoyed our stay, the room was exceptionally clean, and the bed was amazingly comfortable! The continental breakfast included eggs and sausage. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well! Would stay there again!

This is a unique property with an atmosphere I truly enjoyed. Room was clean and spacious. Bathroom was larger and nicer than I have at home. They also have fire pits in the courtyard for guests to use. I will definitely stay here again.

Stayed for a wedding and it was probably one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at, didn’t ask for an early check in and they were able to accommodate me to check in prior to the ceremony. The beds were fairly comfortable and the staff goes above and beyond.

When checking in, The Lodge had no record of a reservation through Hotels.com. We showed them our paperwork and they were very kind and honored our reservation and price. We had just commented on our way to the hotel that we have never had a problem when using Hotels.com. This is the first time something like this has happened.

We loved staying at The Lodge. The room and beds were comfortable, we loved the hot tub, and the front desk staff was excellent. The lobby is beautiful and the staff lit a fire for us, and even offered to make a pizza when we came back from a function too late for the restaurant. The restaurant was excellent, delicious French onion soup. We will be back.

I have stayed here a number of times and have always been very happy with it. But this time I found the front desk empty several times, and waited up to 10 minutes until the front desk clerk came in from her car in the parking lot where I saw her smoking.

This hotel is easy to find, has convenient parking, and all of the staff was friendly. The beds were comfortable, relatively soft compared to many hotels. Our room had a king and a queen sized bed, perfect for our family of four. On site bar had local beer offerings, and breakfast was hot and good.

The Lodge was very clean, friendly staff. Great breakfast. Quiet. Easy access from the highway. We did not use the pool or fitness room so I cannot rate those amenities. Free hot coffee available all day and evening which was nice touch. We would definitely return again if in the area.

Nice clean, has clean pool and hot tub areas. Has log cabin feel but well kept. Would stay in heart beat. Close to freeway, but town is nice and not far from Elroy Sparta and 400 trails

I’ve stayed here twice, both times have been phenomenal. The restaurant attached to the hotel has amazing steaks and prime rib! Very nice pool (shallow but has basketball) very nice and large hot tub as well. Will continue to stay here whenever in this area. Very easy to go to dells or black river falls. Conveniently located. Staff is always nice, beds and ammentities are very nice and clean. 10/10!

A hidden gem in Mauston right off the interstate. This property is maintained beautifully. The rooms were clean and updated, comfortable beds, and a fridge & microwave. The lobby is gorgeous, and the free breakfast was tasty. Lots of amenities for a fraction of the cost. Will definitely be back.

We always stay here when traveling through to Minnesota for business. We love it! It’s in a very convenient location, the parking lot is huge so if you’re like us and have a trailer of some sort there is no worries. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. It has awesome lodge decor and is very safe. They have their own bar & restaurant and the breakfast is awesome in the morning! We will most definitely continue to stay here!

Although the hotel was very clean and aesthetically pleasing it was lacking in amenities. The hot tub was closed temporarily closed for the week, if I knew when I booked I wouldn't have stayed here. The tv only had cable that kept going blurry. The bar/restaurant closed by 8 pm each night. Construction started right outside at 630 am each morning. Overall though beds were comfy, breakfast was good, and inside was fairly quiet. One staff member was very nice others barely looked at you. I won't be returning.

Business trip and brought client to restaurant. Nice bar area but the restaurant had a very limited menu. It was either get a appitizer, burger Salad or 40-$50 steak. Hotel was great with spacious rooms.

I liked the room. Super clean and very spacious. Nice looking hotel. I did not like the noisy heating fan going on and off, and the breaksfast was available too late for me. It should be ready at 6:30. The website said 6:30 but you had it ready at 7

Very nice facility. Breakfast was empty for quite some time and when food finally arrived, no plates to put food on. Very limited juices and other refreshments.

The spacious room was nicely air conditioned upon entry. Floors were perfectly clean, furniture dust free, beds quarter tossed ready for use, and the bathroom uniquely arranged and appointed. Coffee 24/7 was particularly appreciated. Our AM breakfast was tasty and fulfilling!

Stayed 2 nights, Beds not made but wet towels on floor were replaced with dry ones. Basic amendities were also not replaced. Morning Breakfast was awful!

The property was very nice when you entered the lobby. While I was sitting on the king-size bed in my room. I noticed a small stain on the sheet would look to be like blood. I brought it to the attention of the front desk staff they asked if I wanted to move rooms, which I thought would be kind of a pain in the butt because I had all my stuff set out and organized so I declined that. I did however, receive new sheets, clean ones. I stripped the bed and made it. I did request for some money off of the bill for the inconvenience however, being that I booked it through Expedia, the hotel was not able to accommodate any refund on the hotel room fees, but they give a $25 gift card to the restaurant that’s attached to the hotel. Luckily, my sister lives in town and I gave it to her because I would never use it because I don’t visit Mauston that much. There was also some garbage behind the nightstand and the toilet kept running. He had to jiggle the handle to stop it. I will say that it was pretty quiet hotel usually when I stay in accommodations like that I’d bring a box fan because there’s usually noise from other guests so that was a plus.

Rooms were clean and large enough that we didn’t trip over our luggage or one another. Bathroom had a nice shower that was very accessible, even in a standard room. Pool has a basketball hoop which made the kids happy.

Had such a great time! Really loved the pool and hot tub. Kids loved it as well. Maybe another person to help with weekend breakfast. The nice lady doing it seemed a bit overwhelmed but did great.

The facility is very clean, the staff was very friendly. Our room was very spacious and clean. The restaurant downstairs had great food and great service. The fire pits outside being available until 11 pm was a nice amenity!
