Very nice house, clean, spacious for a couple or two. Outside area was nice, but we didn’t really use it since it was November when we were there. Didn’t notice a grill either which would have been a must if we had gone earlier in the year (may have been put up for the winter). My wife and I came to visit Cuyahoga National Park, and this is a very nice house to do that from. Easy access to the park and a great place to visit. Stow is a pretty cool little town too, plenty of well maintained bike and walking paths. Luca’s pizza is pretty good also. Overall great little trip. We are definitely going back again.

Great location. Short drive to various trailheads at Cuyahoga. Lots of places to eat within a 15 - 20 minute drive. Very clean house. Well furnished. Love the vintage arcade game.

Great location close to Cayhuga and only 30 minutes from Cleveland and Canton. This is a lovely home situated next to a lake which was really nice to come back and relax after the days adventures. Evan was responsive and the home is clean and perfect for my family PS The Pac-Man machine was a nice addition too!

This house was extremely clean. The host was very easy to communicate with and accommodating. located in a quiet subdivision and nice and close to Kent State University, which was exactly what we were looking for. The kitchen was well stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

I was very happy to see the improvements to the property since my visit a year ago. The front porch has been updated and a new patio with grill and chairs out back allows you to sit outside and view the lake.

Cottage is very clean with one exception, the exhaust fan in the bathroom could use a little attention. I was excited because it was described as a "Lakeside cottage", but the outside really needs some TLC. Nice if you are the indoor type, but not much outside appeal.

The stay here was great. The host communicated everything we needed to know and was very helpful. The house was very clean and was as depicted. The area was really nice and had a lot of things close by. I definitely recommend if you are looking to stay in the area.

Communication with host was terrible. Traveled and went in property. Smelled very moldy and musty and since we are very allergic to mold we could definitely smell it. Contacted host but he never responded to me. Wife contacted Vrbo and host said we never showed up. I have pictures with dates and times. We showed up, left and found somewhere else to stay since it was unbearable. Looked clean….but something is going on.

We were in Stow for a visit to Cuyahoga Valley National Park and were happy to find this cute cottage just 15 minutes from the Visitor Center at the park. The bed was comfortable and the appliances were nice. The new patio and lake views were a highlight and we appreciated the proximity to grocery stores and coffee shops. We needed to buy k cups after finding only 3 caffeinated cups for 2 of us for 2 nights and we laughed to find someone else’s chocolate chip cookie on the floor of the bedroom. We also definitely needed to wash dishes before using them but none of that was a big deal. We’d stay here again.

Very clean home, great commutation with Evan. Well located near Cuyahoga town and the National park. Beds are firm, and it doesn’t have all the luxury touches of some vrbos but for the price, that makes sense. Definitely a good home base for exploring the area

We couldn’t have found a more perfect place for our vacation at Cuyahoga NP. Newly decorated, clean, cozy. Quiet neighborhood. Felt like home. Great place to come back to after a day of hiking in the park. Everything we did was within a 15 mile radius. We highly recommended this terrific home.

We stayed two nights here. Very clean, nice quiet location. The welcome booklet was a nice touch! You might consider getting a new couch because it was verrrry creaky (the loveseat was perfect). Also the blinds were great but blackout curtains would be an amazing addition. If we’re ever in the area again, we will definitely be checking this location for availability!

We overall enjoyed our 4 night stay. We biked and hiked in Cuyahoga Valley National Park and succeeded in the main goal of the trip, seeing the total eclipse! The little house on the lake was a good location to get to the park within a few minutes and go to Hudson, Cuyahoga Falls, and Kent to check out different restaurants in the evenings. The neighborhood is fine but not the most picturesque. I gave the listing accuracy a 4 because I'm pretty sure that the 2 beds were full size rather than queen size. Otherwise it was clean, comfortable, and very pleasant! Thank you!

This is a newly updated home. Really appreciated having a laundry. If you want clean, this place is for you! The house is very sterile, not many personal touches, had most of everything needed for a 2 night stay.

Check in/out was easy. House was clean, organized and had everything we needed for our stay. Evan, is a great host and was very responsive to all messages. It is in a great location for easy, short drives into CVNP for day trips. Also, close enough to Akron, Cuyahoga falls and Cleveland for restaurants, breweries, etc.

I am writing this review second hand, since my spouse and her friend stayed at this location.Both enjoyed their extended weekend stay. The communication with the hose was above excellent (if that is possible) :-). Very fast response and very informative and detail oriented.Care was given by the host to assure access to the home was secure.The location is close to Ohio's only National Park, hiking trails and other nature opportunities. Shopping was also close by.The home and ammenities were great as well. This is a great location and host.

This property is very clean and exactly as the photos depict. The host was very responsive throughout our stay. The location is perfect as it is near breweries and restaurants. Plus, we could drive less than 15 minutes to be at our hiking trails. It was a perfect balance and a comfy place to come back to at night. Highly recommend!!!

The rental was our halfway point for vacation and it was nice to have a house for our family to stay in instead of a hotel. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. The property manager was on top of everything! He communicated with us throughout the entire process and gave us info on local restaurants and activities!

In town for 2 nights for a concert- super clean and comfy spot to hang near the water. Close to Blossom for a quick Uber ride, and great communication. Would recommend!
In town for 2 nights for a concert- super clean and comfy spot to hang near the water. Close to Blossom for a quick Uber ride, and great communication. Would recommend!

We overall enjoyed our 4 night stay. We biked and hiked in Cuyahoga Valley National Park and succeeded in the main goal of the trip, seeing the total eclipse! The little house on the lake was a good location to get to the park within a few minutes and go to Hudson, Cuyahoga Falls, and Kent to check out different restaurants in the evenings. The neighborhood is fine but not the most picturesque. I gave the listing accuracy a 4 because I'm pretty sure that the 2 beds were full size rather than queen size. Otherwise it was clean, comfortable, and very pleasant! Thank you!

This cottage was a wonderful place to stay. The little lake makes it even more charming. The host was responsive to all communication. The house was comfortable and clean. The neighborhood was an older, established neighborhood and we felt very safe there. It was close to Hudson, Ohio which is a lovely place to shop or go out to eat. We would definitely chose this house again.

Very nice house, clean, spacious for a couple or two. Outside area was nice, but we didn’t really use it since it was November when we were there. Didn’t notice a grill either which would have been a must if we had gone earlier in the year (may have been put up for the winter). My wife and I came to visit Cuyahoga National Park, and this is a very nice house to do that from. Easy access to the park and a great place to visit. Stow is a pretty cool little town too, plenty of well maintained bike and walking paths. Luca’s pizza is pretty good also. Overall great little trip. We are definitely going back again.

Check in/out was easy. House was clean, organized and had everything we needed for our stay. Evan, is a great host and was very responsive to all messages. It is in a great location for easy, short drives into CVNP for day trips. Also, close enough to Akron, Cuyahoga falls and Cleveland for restaurants, breweries, etc.

Stayed to hike various CVNP trails. Very close in proximity. Easy to get to trails and a quiet place to stay. Very clean, comfortable bed, nice space outside to have breakfast. Great air as it was 90s during our stay! We also had some great local food including Thai, pizza and Handles ice cream, which was our very favorite.

This property is very clean and exactly as the photos depict. The host was very responsive throughout our stay. The location is perfect as it is near breweries and restaurants. Plus, we could drive less than 15 minutes to be at our hiking trails. It was a perfect balance and a comfy place to come back to at night. Highly recommend!!!

We were in Stow for a visit to Cuyahoga Valley National Park and were happy to find this cute cottage just 15 minutes from the Visitor Center at the park. The bed was comfortable and the appliances were nice. The new patio and lake views were a highlight and we appreciated the proximity to grocery stores and coffee shops. We needed to buy k cups after finding only 3 caffeinated cups for 2 of us for 2 nights and we laughed to find someone else’s chocolate chip cookie on the floor of the bedroom. We also definitely needed to wash dishes before using them but none of that was a big deal. We’d stay here again.

Nice clean house in a peaceful neighborhood. Just a few minute drive to Cuyahoga National Park which was the primary purpose of our stay. Steps away from drowning a few worms in the lake after some long hikes was a plus! Also being just a short drive to some great craft breweries (Missing Mountain and HiHO) didn't hurt either!

The rental was our halfway point for vacation and it was nice to have a house for our family to stay in instead of a hotel. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. The property manager was on top of everything! He communicated with us throughout the entire process and gave us info on local restaurants and activities!

We choose this rental based on the location and price. We were looking to spend a getaway doing some hiking in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The location was good for restaurants, hiking and stores. Evan was very responsive with communications and the rental was overall very well taken care of.

The property was just as it appears in pictures. Clean, quiet, safe area, and easy to access. The host communicated well. The beds are very firm. There is a mildew smell that is strong when you arrive. You get used to it, but if you are sensitive to smells, you may want to go with another location.
