The room was not so good this time around. It was not cleaned well, Wi-Fi don’t work (I never tried before now), no one is ever here at check-in, you have to wait a while for them to get here. Overall, once you’re in the room the area is nice and quiet, there is a local grocery store and gas station close and a chain store to pick up some small items if needed.

Difficult to review because we got there at 3:24 p.m. to check in and no one was there. Proprietor never answered ring camera any of the 3 times we rang. Didn't answer phone number it said to call - it said voicemail was not set up. A couple who apparently live in one of the units tried to call the owner's personal phone twice and the owner didn't answer. I called it later and he still hasn't called me back hours later. Had to drive on to Meridian about an hour south to find a place. Place looked pretty crumby from the outside. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE. Now, waiting to see if he will charge us.

The Grand Motel is a good place if you need a night of sleep or if you are looking for somewhere cheap. In my opinion, the cost of the room is too high. The floors need to be redone by someone who knows what they are doing. The motel is in need of some repairs on the outside. The parking lot needs to be done.

I made a reservation on August 26th for October 17th through the 19th. When we arrived, the property was not anything like what was pictured. It was run down and very bad. I waited about twenty five minutes for someone to walk into the office to check me in. Then she told me they didn't even have my reservation and someone else had lost their reservation the day before. So I drove nine and a half hours , it was late and I had no place to stay. The people in this town are great, but the hotels are not.Don't stay in this town ever in a hotel.

This place was a refinery worker's dream! Rates are great! Super quiet day and night. This is "basic motel." You have a microwave and fridge. The water is high-pressure and HOT! A/C will freeze you out and the heating will sweat you out! No bed bugs. Sheets, pillows, and towels are crisp white. Beds are comfy. Never seen any motel as clean as this one. The rooms do not have a spec of dust anywhere. Appliances are well-maintained, no stains or stuck on food. The cleaning staff is super nice. We loved our stay.

This place is sketchy to say the least! It was a half way point to where we were going and cheap! But not worth it! There isn’t any outside pics for a reason. Absolutely filthy inside! A big wad of hair in the sink, mouse poop on the towels, and hair all in the bath tub. Do NOT recommend!!

This is a very rundown motel. There was no staff at the check-in desk when I arrived. I went to dinner and came back and there still was no staff to be found. I called the number listed for the business and only then did someone agree to come meet me to give me my keys. The room had an unpleasant smell.

The Grand in Macon Mississippi was okay it just needs to get rid of that odor but the owner was great and very nice and she told us about the other one that they owned in reform Alabama so we moved our stay to there and that one was actually very nice only minor things but it was really comfortable in the rooms were bigger and we really enjoyed it

Did not get to stay! There was No one there to check me in. They couldn't be reached by phone and after 30 minutes of waiting on someone to show up I left to try and find a room for the night. I had to drive 32 miles to another town and pay for another room. I want a refund for a room i didn't get to use. One star rating was to much but you don't have the option of anything lower.

They are overbooked!!! I just drove 4 hours with no mention of them being not available. I’m tired and pissed offfff!!! No accommodations!!

The hotel was abandoned. there was no one there, not one car and no on answered the phone. All of the rooms were judging by looking through the outside no beds inside and it looked as though it had not been operating in years.

I was not able to get in touch with anyone to check in. No one returned calls or responded to messages. I paid money for one night and was not able to check in because no one was in the office and no one answered the phone line or returned messages. I am out $$ and didn’t even get to stay.

I made a reservation on August 26th for October 17th through the 19th. When we arrived, the property was not anything like what was pictured. It was run down and very bad. I waited about twenty five minutes for someone to walk into the office to check me in. Then she told me they didn't even have my reservation and someone else had lost their reservation the day before. So I drove nine and a half hours , it was late and I had no place to stay. The people in this town are great, but the hotels are not.Don't stay in this town ever in a hotel.
