Old hotel very well updated, very well done. Helpful, friendly staff. Valet parking is $30/night, so better to include that in your cost estimate vs taking your chances with the street parking.

Far away, this is probably the best hotel in Spokane, Washington. Cool historic vibe updated with moderate amenities. The staff is attentive and very professional. Sophia at the front desk and Harris, the valet, both fantastic and made my stay that much better. Additionally, the fitness room is modern and well maintained.

We love Hotel Indigo and stay here most trips to overnight in Spokane. The staff is always great and helpful and super friendly. And they love our dog! However, this trip we were a bit disappointed to discover the lounge was closed and limited days now (as they are going through transition) We do understand this is happening all over and we will look forward to the reopening of the new lounge management. We were just very much looking forward to relaxing in the lounge before our di new reservations after a long drive. No worries...we will be back. But that's the reason for the lower rating this time.

This property was nicely updated, spacious rooms, huge bathrooms, comfortable beds and linens. The elevator was slow, but there was an elevator. The lounge was never open when we walked in or out. The shower door needed a lip of some sort to prevent water from spilling out onto the floor and causing a slip hazard. All in all… nice place and will be back!

Everyone was very helpful. The rooms/building is old. You are going to hear your neighbors. Everything is clean. Bar/restaurant had inconsistent hours. We were there with a group of friends and the bar closed at 8:00...on a weekend night. 🤔 No recycling that I could see. Gym was adequate. Older machines, one multi cable machine, 2 treads. One set of dumbbells.

overall good experience. had breakfast included with the rate and it was a limited menu due to shortage in staff. clean hotel, friendly staff, small workout room but has enough equipment. the location is not the best as many vagrants are hovering around the area, generally felt safe but still a bit sketchy

Everyone was very helpful and nice and went out of their way to help us with whatever we needed. The only problem we had is coming from out of town and not knowing where we could park and no where to park to even run in and ask someone. Signs in the front with parking info would be helpful. I would recommend this hotel!

Staff were nice. Location was okay. Bedsheets and pillow covers were dirty, found multiple areas with hairs and stains. Requested new sheets & covers, but condition was still the same. Very disappointed.

Our room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast vouchers were greatly appreciated & the breakfast excellent! We did hear the train periodically but it wasn't intrusive.

The hotel itself is clean. The staff was great. The surrounding area was a little scary. No free parking. The train is a block behind the hotel and runs often. The view from our window was a dirty alley.

The front desk clerks were great and the hotel is beautiful. Overall clean (with the exception of dirty vents in the room and dust on walls and some fixtures). Very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again but have decided to remove it from my list for 2 reasons: (1) we paid for valet parking in a secure lot because only paid meter street parking was available in an area full of homeless with visible drug deals going on; we were advised not to walk anywhere after dark in that area and had to Uber; (2) we paid $20 per person for an inedible continental breakfast. I do not typically make complaints, but I really was not impressed by those two issues combined.

There’s quite a few homeless nearby, but not right outside the hotel. It’s a part of town they are working on revitalizing. Cute boutique across the street. The hotel was ok, nothing special. Renovated old building but the workmanship isn’t great. The bathroom floor looked dirty but it was paint splatters. Wanted to get coffee at coffee bar in lobby but no staff was there at 11:00 when I was ready to leave so I drove through Starbucks. The train wasn’t super loud, but our windows had a glass treatment so we couldn’t see out. The floor was very uneven, again, a workmanship issue.

WARNING - if you are not at least a Silver Elite member with IHG, you could get an inside room with essentially no window. In addition if you are in the wrong side of the building you will hear the train all night. Lastly, they give you ear plugs in the room because simply people walking in the room above you is crazy loud.

Nice size room and modern bathroom - some of the fixtures / furniture were looking a little tired. Train tracks right behind the hotel and every time the night train went by it set off a car alarm. Also wood floors so noise travels from above.

Beautiful and unique hotel downtown. Nice modern rooms with plenty of space! Bathroom shower is the best! If you have kids, there is no pool here and parking can be a hassle but still worth it and affordable rates!

The most comfortable bed in town. I stay at a lot of different places too. Checkin and checkout nice. Have an elevator, with a troll to help pack you in and out and the garage fee is only 34.

Great place - cool decor, excellent use of an older building. The beds were probably the most comfortable I've ever slept in at a hotel. Staff was wonderful. Valet parking was a bonus - included and very easy to use. We didn't realize ahead of time that there is a train about 100 yards away, but it didn't honk its horn or anything and the hotel supplies ear plugs if you need them. Beautiful room decor. Very happy we stayed there.

We had a cute room with a ‘view’ of the air shaft. It was fine for a winter’s night and the bed was great. We really liked how the old railway hotel was updated. Be sure valet parking doesn’t get added unnecessarily to your bill as happened to us.

We have stayed here before and had a wonderful experience about 2 years ago... However, this time we had some issues that I shared with the front desk as I checked out. All I was told was that they would share the feedback with staff... Our first day, I requested that my car be retrieved from valet 25 mins in advance of when we needed it, but it was not brought around and then we waited for another 10 mins - we were late to our destination. The front desk told me afterwards that 5 other people needed their cars at the same time, but that wasn't told to me when I called to request my car. I also had to call down to request more toilet paper and kleenex for the room - apparently the hotel doesn't clean/replenish rooms unless you call to request it...? So the second day I called at 1pm to request our room cleaned, garbage dumped, and fresh towels ("everything but the bed linens?" the lady at the front desk verified with me), but when we returned to our room at 11pm, the room hadn't been cleaned and the wet dirty towels were still on the floor of the bathroom. I had to call down again to ask for clean towels of which they brought 4 towels, no washcloths or anything else. We ran out of coffee and coffee cups in the room and no one came to replenish any of the items. For almost $300 a night, that seemed like it shouldn't be too much to expect? I don't know... It was just really unfortunate.

Valet was very rude. Reaching into car and pulling things out when explicitly asked not to. Extremely pushy and was just taking things out of my car and dropped my luggage with my expensive electronics after explicitly asked not to touch it.

Far away, this is probably the best hotel in Spokane, Washington. Cool historic vibe updated with moderate amenities. The staff is attentive and very professional. Sophia at the front desk and Harris, the valet, both fantastic and made my stay that much better. Additionally, the fitness room is modern and well maintained.

I was very impressed with this hotel and the staff. Harris and Quinten were great at the valet parking and maintenance. The front staff was so welcoming and the overall feeling of the building was iconic.

Sadly our stay ended with the hotel manager not taking responsibility for a parking ticket on our rental car that was left for a valet to park. The general manager Annette did not apologize for the misunderstanding by her front desk staff, valet or offer any compensation for the $100 ticket. But teams I quote she told our friend in person & me over the phone “I’m done with this conversation & hung up”. Horrendous customer service.

Loved the hotel. It was nicely renovated. Everything was clean and comfortable. The area is so-so. Location is fantastic. Short walk to Riverfront Park and the mall, which is good. Must pass many homeless or drug addicts on the way to get there though. They seemed harmless, but one can never know.

Just want to preface this review with the hotel and staff are awesome. The MAJOR issue is what is around the hotel. Parking is very tough (hotel does offer valet parking a block from the hotel), the staff even tells customers NOT to park by the homeless camp literally up the street. The area is very rough and we witnessed some sketchy deals between passing cars and the people in the homeless camp and not a spot I would recommend to families with kids.

The staff was great and the room was very nice and clean. It’s an older building with a maze-like layout. The parking situation was tricky. The loading zone was full so I had to circle the block several times waiting for a spot in the loading zone to open up. The only free parking is on the street at night and the neighborhood is rough at night.

Hotel is fantastic. Staff is excellent , The area it’s in is sketchy at best and this hotel is literally next to a VERY busy railroad. There is no parking except on the street unless you pay for valet If this hotel and staff were in another location I would definitely stay again.

We pulled up to the hotel. There street was filled with homeless people. Parking was street side. We did not feel safe. We did not stay. Found another hotel by the airport. People should be made aware of neighborhood before adding them to places to stay.

Hotel was nice, no issues. Huge room. Area around hotel mostly a closed down buildings. Right by shelter & feeding location for houseless. Some unsavory people laying around & roaming nearby. I mean those on drugs or very intoxicated. Too bad there was almost nowhere to eat nearby or anything to do walking in neighborhood.

This hotel has so much charm and style. It is reminiscent of the 20’s in the lobby but the rooms are large and well appointed. The staff was lovely and very accommodating. The dining room is very attractive and we went for breakfast but the new owners were on their honeymoon so the dining room was out of many things we wanted and our waitress felt very bad about it so she recommended a cute bakery down the street. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a beautifully restored historic hotel. The staff was amazing and made me feel comfortable. The breakfast was inexpensive and excellent with multiple meat choices biscuits, gravy potatoes and sweets. The valet parking was quick and convenient. The location was a safe walking distance to many venues in downtown.

Everything was great, nice location. Only disappointment was the restaurant was not yet open although it was included in listing. Breakfast was not worth $30 for two.

This was my third night at Indigo this week which one was comfy and well appointed warm. It's a shame the restaurant is an open for breakfast, but the coffee bar makes great coffee. Looking forward to next visit with the restaurant open.

We loved this hotel. The old time charm of the building, the fantastic staff and the excellent restaurant attached to it made this the perfect choice for us. The part of town is a little sketchy, but quiet and the hotel is safe and clean.

The staff was very friendly. Our room looked to be newly remodeled and was very nice. The shower and bathroon were spotless! Parking was free valet only. Restaurant was closed so we didn't take part in their grab and go breakfast they offered.

Stayed for a week, no fridge in room. Was told just before we left that we should have been offered a fridge with our length of stay. Room was serviced once in this time. We had to ask for fresh towels several times. Wasn’t a bad location. Staff on the front desk were good.

The front desk staff really bent over backwards for me. It held my reservation for me until 4am due to my train arriving late in Spokane. Staff also expedited my very-early checkout to catch my midnight train departure two nights later. Job well done! Breakfast was excellent. The omelet was especially good. Coffee was good and my cup was always kept full. And the prices were competitive with off-property restaurants! The bar, room and maid service were fine as well. Provision of foam ear plugs was a nice touch. I used them, and slept well despite Spokane's street and train noise. My room was comfortable, and everything worked the way it was supposed to.
