Hampton Inn Niles

Very comfortable room. Nice pool, good breakfast.

Nice hotel but the pool was a bit underwhelming due to size and cleanliness of the water. My biggest issue is the TV's DON'T stream!!!! No Netflix, no Hulu....Now while I am not in the room much, I did want to relax a little later in the day but had to settle for cable, which was not great. Staff was very nice to us and the hotel was clean.

The property is clean and the shower was hot. The ice machine was broken on my floor which wasn’t convenient.

Room was nice, bed and pillows comfortable. Spacious bathroom area. Only complaint was dirty carpet (damp - very hot and humid out now so that may have contributed). A/C worked great. Staff was somewhat friendly.

Every single staff member was a complete pleasure!! I actually made some friends here, the food is amazing (get the sausage & churro waffles!). The rooms are always clean and housekeeping is on top of everything! Very accommodating for any traveler, someone looking for a staycation!

If you like mold. Stay here. If you like hair in the bed, shower, and sink. Stay here. I am in hotels every weekend and this one was frustrating. I normally clean out the air vent in the air/heat unit as i know they never get cleaned but this one had a large cookie shaped item sitting inside the air handler. It was rotten and covered in mold. I turned off the air and slept with my own fan. In the morning i brought down the large molded item to the front desk. She told me she would have maintenance come and clean the unit out while i was at work. Upon arriving back after a 13 hr work day, I opened my room to 76° and no air running. I walk over to the unit and nothing was cleaned. So I took it apart myself and cleaned it only because it was so hot and i needed air. I could have changed rooms but I figured they all would be the same if its the same staff running the place. Super unfortunate.

The AC in our room didn’t work. It would come on for a few minutes and then make a screech and quit. Plus there was food crumbs everywhere and one bed had what we are assuming was dog hair everywhere. I was unhappy

We arrived at 3:30 to check in on the first day of a 2 day stay. A king bed room had been reserved about 3 weeks prior to our arrival. During the check in process the clerk told us they had overbooked on the king rooms and only had a twin queen room available, not a great way to start our stay. We were in town for a family reunion and I didn’t have time to try and find another room before we were to be at our event. We took the queen reluctantly because of time and it was a Friday afternoon and we needed a place to stay. We put our things in the room and left for our event. Upon returning at 10:00 that evening, when my wife pull the sheets back we found them to be bloodstained. So we pulled back the comforter on the other bed to use that one and the comforter was bloodstained. Pulled that off and put that on the first bed, due to the hour slept in bed #2 anyway. Talked to the morning manager about the situation and they agreed to find us a king room later that day. She said she’d call when it was ready—never did. Left our event to check on it (15 minutes away) and found the afternoon manager knew about the situation and had a room for us. We went to the room and found the door open, bed was made, doors and drawers for dresser were all open. My wife pulled back the sheets to check after all the issues only to find a stain on the bottom sheet where nobody wants to see one. The manager prepared the room for us, apologized, but no offer of any type of comps. Never again.

The shower had pink mold that was obvious. The shower couldn't have been cleaned in awhile. Had to use bleach wipes to clean. Asked to have room cleaned while out. We're gone for over 6 hours not done. No clean towels or anything. Next day finally cleaned no coffee. This hotel was definitely not up to Hampton standards. I would never stay there again.

First night: Dirty linen, bugs flying around round. Second night: Request room to be cleaned. Arrived that night to a dirty room and no towels. Worst experience ever at a Hilton branded hotel

Had to move rooms, the first night was terrible, the fridge didn’t work, the ac/heat was extremely loud (it squealed excessively) and one of the hinges on the door to get in the room was broken so it was nearly impossible to open the door without ramming it…once we moved to different room it was better

Noisey to close to elevator and very noisy from rooom above.

Excellent hotel, very clean. Staff was amazing and friendly. The only issue was some of the usb chargers didn’t work in the room. You will have to locate a functional outlet to charge your phone.

The only thing I would recommend when checking in is asking for a room looking out the back of the hotel, road was a little noisy while trying to sleep but nothing they can do about that. Room was great, breakfast was great, staff was very friendly

Staff was courteous; the breakfast all 7 days was above-and-beyond in my book (with dark roast coffee too!); room was quiet (on the top floor) despite facing the busy road and being surrounded by other occupied guest rooms.

We booked here two nights over a weekend while attending a local event. The hotel was clean, the staff friendly, the breakfast good, the room comfortable. However, I would not stay here again because of serious problems in construction. We were on the second floor and could hear the people on one side of us snoring at night and every step of the people above us, all night long. We were woken up by doors crashing in the night (all doors slam). The floor above us was very creaky, making every step worse. There’s not much the staff can do about this unless they have room to relocate you to the top floor. Super disappointing for a hotel that advertises sound proofing in the rooms.

Nice and spacious rooms!

Great stay, but floors in room and hallways were VERY creaky. Creaky enough we asked to change rooms. Hotel seems to be fairly new.

Room was clean, quiet and comfortable Staff member was arguementative on check in. After a 2 hour drive then checking in on the mobile app, being told you are not in the system and we have no registration for you. Choice of words could have been better, a coworker overheard the conversation and told her where to find my paid reservation. Also staff smoking at the front door never looks good.

I was doubled charged. Prepaid through Expedia then hotel also charged my card

I went through alot to get my reservation corrected and when arriving there was confusion in check in and at check out and now i have to wait for a refund of my double charge.

Felt very unwelcome from the moment I walked in. Mind you it was New Year’s Eve and I had children with me. I arrived and wasn’t really greeted. No welcome to Hampton how can I help you, etc. I told Jewlianne at the front desk who I was and I was here to check in, she say’s license and credit card, I felt like I was being pulled over by the cops and not checking into a hotel. Then she has a stack of rule sheets in front of me and slaps one down for me to sign, I felt very on edge like we better not make the slightest move or we would be “evicted” then I get on the elevator later to go to my room and they had posted the “rules” for New Year’s Eve there also. We weren’t there to party or do anything of the sorts we just wanted to do something different with our kids on New Year’s Eve and get them out of the house after being cooped up all winter break but the vibes were just so off and we felt so incredibly uncomfortable the whole stay like we had to walk on egg shells during our entire stay. After talking with other guests they were feeling the same way as well! The staff was even bragging in the lobby about their “evictions” for the night at one point when I was down their getting coffee. I Don’t know if I would visit this location again. Very uptight staff, uncomfortable and just not up to par with my prior stays.

We didn't stay here due to the hotel and Hotels.com miscommunication on our reservation. They ended up cancelling our stay without telling us on the day of our reservation. I even confirmed directly with the hotel that the reservation was fine two days before our stay. Awful, horrible service on both businesses. How do you cancel a reservation without informing the client?

I am a frequent guest at Hampton Inn properties and have generally found them to provide reliable service and good value. Unfortunately, my recent experience at the Niles location did not meet those expectations. Upon arrival, I discovered that my reservation had been canceled without any prior notification, which was both inconvenient and unprofessional. During my stay, housekeeping services were not provided, as my room was never cleaned. Additionally, the breakfast offerings were below the standard I have come to associate with Hampton Inn, being only average in quality.

Stayed for a Wedding in the area close to the venue.

Nice hotel with decent breakfast, but the road out front was all torn up with all but one lane blocked (so one way). Should be finished soon.

This is a nice location easily accessible from US-12. Unfortunately the main road was under construction and was only one way traffic so anytime I needed to go somewhere I had to head north and then loop around through the back roads. Hopefully the next time I return this construction is finished.
