Upon arrival, we had an issue with the TV. Assistance from staff was timely as was a resolution. Outside temps were in the high 80’s and AC unit worked hard to bring room temp to 70 degrees. Beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. Breakfast was included in room fee.

Very quiet place. No issues. Staff was awesome. Great spot to get away from all the hustle. Not accessible to the ocean unless you take a boat taxi. Chincoteague and Assateague were about 45 mins away. Loved being able to ride the free bikes the Inn offered :)

TV did not work. Moved to another room, TV did not work there. Uncomfortable metal chairs. Had to pay for ice. Even a low priced motel provides ice. At the price we paid ice should have been provided. Adverised as an Inn but basically a strip motel.

Excellent location and great staff. Bathroom could use some updating, but who spends lots of time in there! Also, great places to hang out outside with chairs, side tables, and picnic tables. Beautiful view. Cannot wait to go back.

I was quite satisfied. The building style is typical roadside motel, with rooms facing a central parking area. My room was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The front desk person (perhaps she is the owner?) was friendly and helpful.

Delightful stop on the Eastern Shore. A basic little motel but in a lovely tiny town not too far off the beaten path. Excellent restaurant with a view of the marsh and oyster beds is just across the street. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast nothing special but the free arrival drink (beer or soda in a can) was a pleasant little perk. A nice change from a chain hotel.

Simple and easy accommodations. Nothing fancy, but if you're looking just for a place to sleep and then be out & about this is an excellent choice. Much more reasonable rates than other places in the area (looking at you major hotel chains!). We stopped for the night on our way to the Outer Banks and both of us said we'd like to come back when to explore when we had more time to do so!

It was a pleasure staying at the Watchapreague Inn. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area, it’s right on the water, with a beautiful park with gazebo across the street, as well as a top rated seafood restaurant. The bed was stiff, and the staff actually brought me a foam mattress topper! My husband loved his stiff bed. Great little gift shop with a wide selection of t-shirts and gifts, free breakfast, very good coffee, free bicycles and kayaks too. I highly recommend this place! It’s not the fanciest or newest, but you can’t beat all the extras for the price.

Friendly staff and clean rooms. Breakfast is coffee and pastries so I question whether that is a real breakfast. The trash can outside our door attracted a lot of flies and of course they got into our room. It took two days to empty it. Overall good value within a charming town that has character and is walkable and good for biking.

The Inn is right on the coast in an adorable small town. Plenty of dining and shopping options just 6 miles away. Continental breakfast and a cute coffee shop less than 1/2 a block away that serves breakfast and lunch. Very retro clean, comfortable and affordable motel, so if you’re looking for high end luxury this isn’t for you ☺️

The AC is inadequate for the summer heat, it would not drop temperature below 75 in room, thankfully it was not 90 outside. The ceiling fan helped but wobbled and rattled, was afraid it would fly off. Had a a few flys we could not get rid of. Towels hanging on bathroom door from previous renters. No TMobile service In town. The restaurant across the street was great.

Great place to stay on the Eastern Shore. The place is old but nicely taken care of. The local restaurant was delicious. The staff was great. My only complaint was how hard the mattress was on the bed. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

This is place is a gem! Quiet, off of the beaten trail, & right on the water. Nothing fancy, but then are you on vacation just to stay in a hotel room - No! The bed was comfortable (pillow top mattress) and the people are wonderful! We stopped here on our way to the Outer Banks & extended our stay by 1 night because of hurricane damage to our ultimate destination.

Everyone was friendly! After making the reservation online, I received a phone call from Jonathan confirming and thanking me for booking with them. This quaint inn is quiet, accommodating and perfect for my short stay in the area--even for a holiday weekend. I purchased an extension cord and it worked perfectly to blow dry and style my hair at the mirror. This inn was constructed at a time when multiple outlets were not necessary and the ocean breeze would style your hair anyway.

It was a pleasure staying at the Watchapreague Inn. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area, it’s right on the water, with a beautiful park with gazebo across the street, as well as a top rated seafood restaurant. The bed was stiff, and the staff actually brought me a foam mattress topper! My husband loved his stiff bed. Great little gift shop with a wide selection of t-shirts and gifts, free breakfast, very good coffee, free bicycles and kayaks too. I highly recommend this place! It’s not the fanciest or newest, but you can’t beat all the extras for the price.

The front desk staff were amazing! They had answers for all the questions we asked about the area. Stanley greeted us with a purr. He has to be the sweetest cat ever! Shower water was perfectly hot, bed was comfy. Easy drive to restaurants and sights in the area. We were there in the winter and plan on coming back in the spring.

Friendly staff and clean rooms. Breakfast is coffee and pastries so I question whether that is a real breakfast. The trash can outside our door attracted a lot of flies and of course they got into our room. It took two days to empty it. Overall good value within a charming town that has character and is walkable and good for biking.

Very quiet place. No issues. Staff was awesome. Great spot to get away from all the hustle. Not accessible to the ocean unless you take a boat taxi. Chincoteague and Assateague were about 45 mins away. Loved being able to ride the free bikes the Inn offered :)

Delightful stop on the Eastern Shore. A basic little motel but in a lovely tiny town not too far off the beaten path. Excellent restaurant with a view of the marsh and oyster beds is just across the street. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast nothing special but the free arrival drink (beer or soda in a can) was a pleasant little perk. A nice change from a chain hotel.

This is place is a gem! Quiet, off of the beaten trail, & right on the water. Nothing fancy, but then are you on vacation just to stay in a hotel room - No! The bed was comfortable (pillow top mattress) and the people are wonderful! The Inn is right on the coast in an adorable small town. Plenty of dining and shopping options just 6 miles away. Continental breakfast and a cute coffee shop less than 1/2 a block away that serves breakfast and lunch. Very retro clean, comfortable and affordable motel, so if you’re looking for high end luxury this isn’t for you ☺️

Upon arrival, we had an issue with the TV. Assistance from staff was timely as was a resolution. Outside temps were in the high 80’s and AC unit worked hard to bring room temp to 70 degrees. Beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. Breakfast was included in room fee.

Great place to stay on the Eastern Shore. The place is old but nicely taken care of. The local restaurant was delicious. The staff was great. My only complaint was how hard the mattress was on the bed. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Excellent location and great staff. Bathroom could use some updating, but who spends lots of time in there! Also, great places to hang out outside with chairs, side tables, and picnic tables. Beautiful view. Cannot wait to go back.

Small town and friendly, if you're looking for clean and quaint this is the place. If you need to be entertained, then this is not the place for you. But I plan many of my trips going out of my way just to go here and recharge... my soul, not a car.

The room was clean, the staff were friendly and accommodating. The Motel claims that it has bicycles, scooter, and other recreational activities available. However, the bicycles are rusted and falling apart as they are kept outside in a saltwater environment. The motel claims that they offer breakfast, however, while they do offer coffee, the breakfast consists of a couple bagels bought from the store, bananas, apples, generic Walmart brand Nutri-Grain bars, and donuts. It is not actually a breakfast, more like store-bought items. They will tell you that the general store, next-door, offers egg and cheese sandwiches. However, these egg and cheese sandwiches are premade, wrapped in foil, have been sitting out and will need to be reheated. The seafood restaurant across the street has gone out of business so if you want dinner, you will have to contact some type of delivery service or drive 20 minutes to the nearest town. While the area is peaceful, quiet and quaint be prepared that there is no cell phone service and you will have to use the Wi-Fi offered by the motel, which is wonderful. Overall, for us, it was a good day.
