It was super close to railroad tracks but never heard a sound. The walk to/from train station is steep, partially gravel and you have to lift your suitcase over the greased cog tracks as you cross. There is a nice hike to Staubbach Falls but the falls were not very large due to it being fall. Workers were nice. Evidently there was a free breakfast but they didn’t share that until we were checking out.

Lovely hotel with amazing staff, gorgeous views and delicious food. Our family of five enjoyed our stay immensely. The kind staff are so helpful and pleasant while providing a quality experience. We appreciated how convenient the location is to both the train and shops. We would stay again without hesitation.
