Leonardo Hotel Zurich Airport

Nice rooms .. comfortable bed ..pillows not so much. Bar tender was excellent man ! Good area , close to airport with restaurants around. Cleaning staff very loud , could hear them from above and from other rooms. Good price

struttura ottima: arredamento impeccabile, camere grandi e silenziose. la palestra aperta 24h gratuita è un dettaglio molto apprezzato. la cucina secondo me un po troppo costosa. la struttura è anche perfettamente collegata con l'aeroporto: la fermata del bus è a 3 minuti a piedi. ha un parcheggio sotterraneo che è piuttosto caro.

Atendimento na recepção com muita cordialidade, academia pequena mas com equipamentos de qualidade, quarto confortável.

New hotel with good breakfast, parking and close to a wonderful café and market.

Das Hotel ist zu Fuss in 15 Minuten zu erreichen. Eine Bushaltestelle ist gegenüber und man ist in 5 Minuten am Airport. Das Hotel ist schallisoliert, man hört von draußen quasi nichts. Empfang sehr freundlich, der Fitnessbereich ist klein. Neben dem Empfang stehen zwei Kühlschränke, um Wasser und anderes zu kaufen, eine Bar besteht auch. Die Zimmer sind nicht groß aber ausreichend und das Bad ok und sauber mit ebenerdiger Dusche.

Modern no frills hotel with spacious rooms & a nice bar/lounge area. There’s a connected underground parking garage for convenience. But there were no toiletries in the bathroom- they didn’t even have a small soap at the sink for washing your hands. I had to use body wash to wash my hands 😅

We enjoyed our stays at Leonardo Hotel. The room was very nice and had everything we needed. We didn\'t eat at the restaurant, but we did stop by the bar for a nightcap. The bartender was very nice. There were only two things that could use improvement. First, we were given a LARGE room the second time we stayed but it was an accessible room and the bathroom was, well, challenging. The toilet was hard to get to and the no-ledge shower leaked everywhere. Second, we used the parking facility under the hotel, which was clean and safe. However, both times when we checked out (the hotel charges you for parking and "activates" the card), we were unable to leave and had to call to get the gate to open. Otherwise, a very enjoyable experience.

Great location and easy check in. The staff on the desk were great, letting us check in early and organising a kettle for us as we don’t drink coffee. The food in the restaurant was excellent and so was the service. Highly recommend

Check in took a while but ok. Drinks at the bar are really high priced. At least the stuff is great and doing a good job. Thanks for this.

There was no soap by the bathroom sink, had to step into the shower to use the shampoo/body was combo. A/C not available to use. Metal decorative coverings on the exterior windows do not allow to see our very well and seem unsafe in the event of fire. Also do not allow for air flow when hot. Stains on the carpet in the room. Staff was not all that friendly.

Hade nog otur. Hotellet brukar vara väldigt bra, men mitt rum var inte rent. Handdukarna var inte fräscha, mm. mm. Tyvärr.

A really nice hotel. Felt fresh and clean. Great for an overnight in Zurich. A ten minute walk to the airport and trainstation.

The position is strategic. Easy to reach even by walk. However, - the shuttle service is not offered by the hotel. The shuttle drivers ask for $20. The reception doesn't mention anything about payment of any fees. - the WC was dirty and with only one toilette paper roll. - the heating fan in the room was not working and the temperature could not be adjusted. - the minibar is empty and it's precisely explained that it's a choice of the hotel. So, you can just keep your own food refrigerated. - the staff is not very helpful Conclusion: good just for one night before taking the flight

Convenient location to airport. But no airport shuttle service. Restaurant on property with very limited food selection. Thermostat in room is mostly decorative. Room was very hot and temperature is controlled by a central Thermostat- not the rooms Thermostat

Insgesamt ein super Flughafenhotel. Das Einzige was zu bemängeln ist, das Bett. Wir haben ein Doppelbett gebucht und es waren zwei einzelne Betten. Die Betten sind unten mit Rollen versehen, was zum Verschieben der Betten führt. Daher eher unpraktisch..

It's a very nice and spacious property that is just 4 min from the airport which is helpful if you have an early day!

The issue with the Leonardo is that they do not have air conditioning. The hotel only has a fan system and it does not seem to provide much cooling. You cannot just leave you window open because the hotel is just off the Zurich Airport runway and the jet noise is serious. The Leonardo hotel is fine for Winter, but I would not stay there in Summer.

Great modern hotel right close to the airport. There were a number of buses that shuttle you right to Zurich airport, across the street from the hotel. It was quiet and had everything you need. The air conditioning unit didnt get very cold, though.

Alles in allem ein guter Aufenthalt. Leider waren die Kopfkissen für mich eine totale Katastrophe. Federkissen hätte ich mir gewünscht.

We have a couple suggestions. More English speaking TV channels. The A/C in our room didn't seem to be working. Room was too warm.

Check in needs to be improved. One lady was doing her best but we were cuing up and had to wait for almost 20 min. Finally one Asian looking guy showed up and served other guests first without asking. That’s not a good service to paying hotel guests.

Very poor communication. Website unclear about the distance. Very rude staff. They dont provide shuttle from airport. The staff at the check in and check out time was very rude and unclear about transportation. Staff at check in told us we pay at hotel then found out we pay the driver. We could have got cheaper options for transportation.

Hotel was overbooked and couldn't fulfil my room. Terrible service and I would never try to stay there again,

The hotel is conveniently located 3 bus stops from the airport with connections on multiple lines. The staff wasn't the friendliest when I arrived at 7:30 (from my red eye flight) just to drop off my luggage. They didn't look up or say hello. When the two men behind the counter finally stopped looking at the computer, and looked at me I had to ask if they wanted to look at my passport for check in. There also was a language issue. The hotel clerk told me there was no reservation for me, I had a mini freak out, but he meant there wasn't any room available thenso I'd have to wait until the regular check in time.

Very helpful getting me a shuttle to the airport

Wir wählen dieses Hotel immer, wenn wir einen frühen Flug haben. Das Hotel selbst ist super für diesen Zweck. Wir gehen immer ca. 25 Minuten zu Fuss vom Flughafen zu diesem Hotel; man kann aber auch einen öffentlichen Bus nehmen. Enttäuscht hat uns dieses Mal der Empfang durch einen jungen, eher unmotivierten und unsympathischen Mann an der Rezeption. Das ist eigentlich sehr schade für dieses tolle Hotel.

Have been traveling for a month and this was the worst check in we had. I think the staff at the front desk have the belief that it was our privilege to stay at this property. There was one person ahead of us and one person at the check in. As I lined up she said to me, “please go sit down and when I am ready I will call you.” Sat there for about 10 more minutes and I was then “blessed” to be checked in. The first thing she said without any greeting or anything was, “This is a non smoking hotel.” I said it doesn’t matter as I don’t smoke. With this she said, “well how am I to know that”. I thought wow….here we go. At completion of check in she said if we wanted to check in now as it was 1230 it would be 30 CHF. She had already assigned our room as it was written in the key holder jacket. I asked if our room was ready and she said yes but would be 30. This is nothing but a cash grab. In our month of travelling we checked in early half the time and never were charged. This was 2.5 hours early than check in. I said that we would leave our bags. Then I wheeled my bags to the end of the counter. There were now four staff members there and none of them were with guess. Totally ignored for two minutes until I said, can I get some service” instead of apologizing they tried turning it on me for being impatient. They need some training in verbal judo. Worse service ever at a check in from a traveler to more than 50 countries. Rooms were great though ….just expect rudeness.

Excellent choice for a stay close to the airport. The property is conveniently located across the street from a bus station and the airport is only 2 stops away. The property is modern, spotless and very comfortable. The train station for downtown Zurich is at the airport and very easy to get to. Highly recommended.

L’accès de l’aéroport vers l’hôtel est dangereux à pied. Il y a une 4 voix à longer , puis passer sous des tunnel. La meilleurs possibilité est de prendre le bus public , cela représente 2 arrêts. Le tarif est de quelques francs suisse . Les horaires du bus public c'est de 4h40 du matin à 23h45. le dimanche et jour férié également. Il y a 6 lignes de bus .Confort hôtel très bien

This was handy for the airport. We just took the local bus from the airport bus station when we arrived and again in the morning back to the airport. It is just a few metres to the hotel from the bus stop. It’s literally 3 bus stops. the hotel is lovely and we have nothing to moan about at apart from some noisy guests in the corridor.

The hotel was modern and well furnished. The bed comfortable and the room an adequate size. The breakfast was good with plenty of variety, but the restaurant for dinner let the hotel down. The choice was pasta, pizza or hamburger, all at inflated prices.

I really like that it's so close of the airport, nice rooms and also the breakfast was amazing, we went to eat dinner at the restaurant and the food was really good

Easily accessible from Zurich Airport and downtown Zurich. Excellent breakfast buffet. Dinner menu is limited but every dish we tried was vert tasty.

Unfortunately, the coffee machine in the room was broken, and I couldn't make coffee. The lady at the front desk was not very kind. Luckily, another staff member came to the room to check. Although they offered me a free coffee at the bar, I had to wait about 20 minutes to get it since there were many customers. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay. Additionally, the buffet was delicious. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

The stay was okay. The room was nice enough and clean, but could have used air conditioning as it was stuffy and warm. The bathroom could have used a fan … also a door that closed properly. Having the little refrigerator was nice. The staff was young, not really friendly or helpful.The restaurant at an airport hotel should be open all day. When we could finally get it - the pizza was good - toppings on the expensive side.
