This Capitol Hill apartment was exactly as advertised. Comfortable, well appointed, and a great location to use as a home base when sightseeing in our nation’s capitol. The kitchen was well equipped and made it easy for us to have breakfast in, pack lunches and even cook at home a couple of nights. The living room area was great for relaxing after long days. Bathroom was spacious, big towels, lots of hot water and good water pressure. Being able to do a load of laundry helped as we got soaked a couple of days in the rain. The bed was comfortable, plenty of pillows. Closet had lots of hangers and plenty of places to store clothing for our week’s stay. Walking distance to corner store, restaurants, etc. really didn’t miss having a car. Was able to get a Whole Foods delivery for the week. Cherry blossoms beautiful. It is wonderful to have a place to stay that you look forward to coming back to at the end of the day!

We had the best time staying here! Just a short walk to so many great places, and the metro station wasn’t far either if we needed to get across town. The apartment was clean, the owners were lovely, and the whole process was a breeze. They had everything we needed, and some things we didn’t even think of. (Like laundry detergent.) We’re already planning our next visit to DC, and we will definitely book here again.

The property is lacking nothing. It has a well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, spacious dining and living area. There is plentiful storage for your belongings, a washer and dryer and tasteful art decorating the rooms. It is walking distance to the Capital and Smithsonian Museums. Uber was reasonable to our various destinations. The owners are kind and very responsive if you need any help.

Our stay in Washington DC could not have been better staying at this lovely apartment. The unit itself was exactly like the photos. It was comfortable, chic, immaculate, donned with with incredible artwork and pottery pieces throughout and stocked with everything you need. It was rainy a few days and they provided an umbrella as well. I can’t emphasize enough how ideal the location was of this unit! It was just blocks from the Capital in a dream neighborhood. We did not rent a car and were able to walk to everything in DC, the museums, the monuments, Botanical gardens, Eastern Market, etc. We did venture out to Georgetown one day so used an Uber for that but otherwise could walk to everything we wanted to do. Highly recommend this lovely apartment in DC. I would definitely stay there again if we return to DC….it was sublime. Dana B.

Went to DC for a Father/Son four day trip. Pick this property off VRBO. Once arrived it did not disappoint. Looked exactly like photos. Was extremely clean, and in a great location. Apartment had cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, and even coffee and spices for us to use while there. We really enjoyed the place and would not only recommend it, we can’t wait to come back!

My wife and I found the kitchen to be very well equipped. It even included condiments and spices, etc. that are not normally found in time-rental spaces. Kitchen cabinets and storage are well laid out, making cooking in the kitchen a breeze. The rooms were spotless, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Parking was easily found on the street (usually in the same block); the host's and manager's promptness in obtaining a parking permit was most helpful. In sum, we look forward to using VRBO again when we visit Washington, DC, and we really hope that this location is available when we do!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second rental through Vrbo and exceeded our expectations. The place was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. We were pleasantly surprised by all the small amenities like the Kuerig coffee maker and pods. Entry was a breeze. TV and channels were adequate. AC worked fine. The place was quiet, which for light sleepers like me, a real plus.The location was perfect. We were able to walk to several of the tourist sites and when they were beyond walking distance, Uber and Lyft provided dependable service. We usually booked ahead and they were always on time. Several restaurants offered delivery, and we stayed in every evening of our five-day stay.All in all, it was a wonderful experience.

We chose this property based on its description, photos, previous reviews, and location close to the Capitol Building. It was convenient for sightseeing and is within walking distance of the Metro Rail and Bus routes. It has the usual appliances and amenities, including cable TV and good WiFi. The neighborhood is old brownstone buildings and very quiet, which was a plus. On the downside, the couch was uncomfortable (felt like we were sitting in a hole), as was the chair located in the living room. Similarly, the bed had dips on both sides, which was either due to the age/condition of the mattress topper, or the mattress. The topper appeared slightly soiled (body oils) and possibly not routinely cleaned. When you have been on your feet all day walking, you want to relax at the end of the day, so those issues were very disappointing. We intended to wash our clothes at the end of our trip, but decided against that after discovering that the washing machine was not clean (i.e., areas of dirt and hair accumulated over time), which caused us to question the otherwise "clean" appearance of the apartment interior. The bedroom heater worked well, but the heaters located in the front room area put out little heat. We shared our concerns with the property manager. We anticipate that those comments will be communicated to the owner and addressed for the benefit of future tenants.

Walking distance to corner store, restaurants, etc. really didn’t miss having a car. Was able to get a Whole Foods delivery for the week. Cherry blossoms beautiful. It is wonderful to have a place to stay that you look forward to coming back to at the end of the day!
This Capitol Hill apartment was exactly as advertised. Comfortable, well appointed, and a great location to use as a home base when sightseeing in our nation’s capitol. The kitchen was well equipped and made it easy for us to have breakfast in, pack lunches and even cook at home a couple of nights. The living room area was great for relaxing after long days. Bathroom was spacious, big towels, lots of hot water and good water pressure. Being able to do a load of laundry helped as we got soaked a couple of days in the rain. The bed was comfortable, plenty of pillows. Closet had lots of hangers and plenty of places to store clothing for our week’s stay. Walking distance to corner store, restaurants, etc. really didn’t miss having a car. Was able to get a Whole Foods delivery for the week. Cherry blossoms beautiful. It is wonderful to have a place to stay that you look forward to coming back to at the end of the day!

We could not have expected a better place to stay while visiting D.C. This unit is lovely, upgraded, and carefully furnished. It is also a pretty quiet place for the city and perfectly located-- a few blocks to transportation a short walk to local markets, eateries, and parks. I have stayed at many rentals before and this one wins the prize for the best ever!

I loved this place! I plan to stay here again. It was super clean and just as described. The only two things that I thought might could use improvement were possibly 1. brighter lighting (the living and dining were a little dim) 2. Maybe a few welcoming snacks (we were hit and thirsty upon arrival) However, there was a nice cold pitcher of water in the fridge. Perfect! I look forward to staying again as my daughter has recently moved to DC.

My wife and I found the kitchen to be very well equipped. It even included condiments and spices, etc. that are not normally found in time-rental spaces. Kitchen cabinets and storage are well laid out, making cooking in the kitchen a breeze. The rooms were spotless, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Parking was easily found on the street (usually in the same block); the host's and manager's promptness in obtaining a parking permit was most helpful. In sum, we look forward to using VRBO again when we visit Washington, DC, and we really hope that this location is available when we do!

Great location if you like to walk. Approx 1.3 miles to National Mall. A few restaurants within 6 blocks. Beautiful neighborhood. Bed was comfortable and kitchen well equipped and organized. This is a basement unit so some noise from above but tolerable since we were only in apartment at night. Noise from upstairs was mostly in the early am.

The apartment is very comfortable and has beautiful funiture and lighting design, with all the kitchen and bathroom amenities one would need. The quality of everything provided is high, which makes for an enjoyable stay free of stress. The manager is also very prompt and responsive to any queries. I highly recommend this apartment to other guests.

Great location. Pretty neighborhood and about a 15 min walk to the metro, restaurants, and grocery store. Street parking (30tax for permit which they get for you). I was a little worried about finding parking but it wasn’t bad at all. Very nice place. Has everything you’d need. Great hosts, communication was easy and punctual. Highly recommend!

Bobby and JoAnn are fantastic. This place is as advertised. The location is great. Easy walking to the Mall and its tourist attractions. We visited a local market for essentials and walked to Whole Foods for groceries using the supplied bags. Lots of restaurants in the area. Definitely don’t need a car if you are staying in town. Thanks!

This unit was so clean!! and cozy. Well equipped with all of the necessities. Great area - just blocks from Capital Hill, 2 blocks from a park, a few blocks from several restaurants, overall great location!! Definitely would recommend staying here if you are in the DC area.

Parking was the only issue. The property owner helped with us getting a parking permit. However, the parking was first come first served. One night I had to park two blocks away and walk to the apartment. Everything else about the stay was great. Good communication with owner about anything we needed!

The apartment was conveniently located. Walking distance to union station & we were able to go anywhere from there. Uber wait time was 5mins to take us to when we didn't want to navigate with the metro. The neighborhood was pleasant and safe with plenty of people walking on the sidewalks.

We are glad we made this choice. This cute, nicely appointed apartment was attractive, comfortably furnished with a well stocked kitchen for cooking, and a good night's sleep on the queen bed. The owner communicated well and answered all questions promptly. There were even some extensive recommendations for things to visit in the capitol. It was an easy 25 minute walk to the capitol buildings and grounds. Lot's of eateries nearby. The neighborhood was lovely and quiet. There was some overhead footstep noise from the upper residents but only noticeable for a short while in the evenings. Did not disturb our sleep. We would happily return.
