An English Gem near Union Station

I was traveling with a student to visit research collections at the Smithsonian; we needed a place with two rooms and an easy commute to the Mall. This property was perfect for our needs! The neighborhood is lovely; it was an easy bus ride to the museum; and there were restaurants and corner grocery stores nearby. The host is very responsive and helpful. We drove into D.C. as part of a longer trip. Dr. Koura helped us get a visitor parking pass and made everything very easy. Check out was also simple. This is a great spot in a charming neighborhood with a wonderful host.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Parking instructions, or possible rules for bicycles could use clarification. A print out of rules and expectations would help guests.

Super communication, easy check in and out, clean, wonderfully located. Met all of our needs and exceeded expectations!

Very clean, exactly as depicted in photos, great location.

Great place to stay for a quick one day trip to DC for a show. We arrived Saturday around 5pm and left Sunday morning. Mostly just needed a place to crash. The house is a very quick walk (5 minutes max) from a great pub that we went to before and after the show. We did hear footsteps through a lot of the night, but that was expected as it is a basement apartment. It would be nice to have a fan available to plug into the wall in order to both drown out the noise and provide some breeze with the summer warmth.
