The hotel is next to construction that limits parking and access to walking trails. There are bikes for guest use but no pool or gym facilities on the property. Parking in town is ridiculous and the hotel while beautifully remodeled is a 20 min walk to town. I was disappointed with a $20 valet parking fee when there was no other parking choice. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

Guests have access to the Roof top lounge. It was wonderful. We went at night, we sat outside, they have heated and give you blankets to use. They have a full menu. The food was delish in both restaurants.

Overall, wonderful stay. Beautiful location, nice room and great food at the restaurant! Would come back. They really need to figure out the valet situation - it is currently a disaster. At peak hours it is borderline unsafe - longs line of cars and vehicles being left unattended. The process of dropping off and picking up our car proved time consuming and stressful. Defeats the purpose of providing valet service.

Rooms are lovely and river views are beautiful. Showers are amazing. Dining choices are excellent, but easy stroll into New Hope for many more excellent dining choices. Roof bar is not to be missed as well as deck bar off of main Odette's dining room.

The hotel and the room were very nice, clean and comfortable. The hotel is walking distance to main street where there are many restaurants and activities around, including Bucks County Playhouse. The website did not say anything that valet was required or that we would be charged for parking. The valet system was a mess. Too many cars not enough staff. Took 30 minutes to reach the valet. If you ever expect to get any sleep, forget about it. We were kept up till 12 midnight because of all the noise coming from the kitchen. And the noise resumed at 7am. We didn’t get a winkle of sleep.

Great hotel - be aware that Valet parking is $20/day and there really isn't an option. Very friendly and helpful staf. We didn't eat at the hotel, but it looked very good. Definitely a luxurious hotel - great location as well

Fantastic place to stay! From the moment we arrived the valet,front desk and all other staff was very pleasant and helpful. Although our room wasn’t ready till almost check in time we made the best of the hotel. Roof bar, and dinner at Odette’s was fantastic! Great, clean room with a comfy bed and shower. Definitely will be back when the weather is warm to explore the area more and get a riverside room as well! Great stay!

A master class in hotel design and service. Beautiful property and peaceful setting on the river. Rooftop drinks and brunch at Odettes were great. Valet/check-in was smooth. Room was very clean and comfortable, great bedding and pillows. Enjoyed the large bathroom and amenities like the rainfall shower. Quick walk on the towpath to downtown new hope for shopping and restaurants. 10/10 would stay again

I read some negative reviews and was not sure what we would experience. We were greeted by kind and personable staff who answered all our questions. Our room was clean with a beautiful river view. The food was tasty and arrived quickly to our table for both dinner and breakfast. Keep in mind this was over Christmas Eve and the staff never missed a beat. We had a wonderful experience at the RiverHouse and will definitely be back.

I had to fix one of the broken lamps next to the bed. There were spiders in the bathroom. The seal to the shower door was broken which caused water to get onto the bathroom floor causing a safety hazard. I also had to pay an additional $20 for valet which I never used. Would not recommend staying here for the price.

Pretty hotel, but a few issues. Cable system had to be re booted for some reason so a lot of the channels did not work, our mini fridge did not work so they replaced it with a mini freezer such that we thought it was still a fridge and it ruined all our food and wine, our room was over the dishwasher that ran numerous times and the bed was very low to the ground

Everyone was very friendly and approachable. Location on river and trail was amazing.Access to town (shopping, theater, dining) was super convenient (with hotel even offering quick rides in at night.) One of the top ten hotels in the world we have stayed at.

The positives: The hotel was immaculate and a short walk into town. The bed was super comfortable and the rooms were large with a beautiful balcony. The negatives: I was traveling with my young daughter on a Saturday night. I wish I had known there was a wedding that night. It’s a small property and the walls/ceiling shook with music/dancing so we didn’t sleep until midnight. It took well over 20 mins to check me in because I booked through hotels.com. We had just come in from 4 hours in the car and I would have appreciated a drink while I waited for them to figure it out or some acknowledgment. Instead, when I checked out, once again they said it looks like we need to charge your cc. Once again waiting for the front desk to figure out their issue.

Odette's is a lovely hotel within walking distance of New Hope's eateries, pubs, shops and the Bucks County Playhouse. Their staff is welcoming, friendly and helpful. Many thanks to: Rebecca, who checked us in; Amber, our rooftop dinner waitress; Eileen, the main level restaurant hostess; and Bella, our breakfast waitress. Bella is a new employee, and perfectly complements the vibe of Odette's, as do all of the staff we met. My companion and I were celebrating our 70th birthdays, and he called ahead to reserve a table for dinner, and was told they'd do something special. We were treated to a huge cookie decorated with Happy Birthday written on it and swirls of whipped cream around the edge. What a nice touch! My one complaint is that the soap, shampoo and conditioner bottles, attached to the wall of the shower, were WAAAAY too high for me, at 5'3. The shower floor is tile so slippery when wet, and the only stationary hand-hold is on the opposite side of the shower, making trying to use those products a potential safety hazard. Otherwise, our stay was delightful!

My one complaint is that the soap, shampoo and conditioner bottles, attached to the wall of the shower, were WAAAAY too high for me, at 5'3. The shower floor is tile so slippery when wet, and the only stationary hand-hold is on the opposite side of the shower, making trying to use those products a potential safety hazard. Otherwise, our stay was delightful!

Even though we’re local we enjoyed a getaway at this beautiful hotel. They’re done great justice to thus storied location, building a beautiful facility. The chance to walk the history Towpath and easily walk into New Hope add to the special experience. The staff was so pleasant as well. Highly recommended.

River House was a beautiful hotel! More like a resort! Our room on the second floor had a nice size terrace with gorgeous views of the Delaware River. The location was a short walk to downtown New Hope. Clean, comfortable and attention to details. Nice roof top bar, they offered blankets and had 2 fireplaces to warm the space! Restaurant was beautiful!

A master class in hotel design and service. Beautiful property and peaceful setting on the river. Rooftop drinks and brunch at Odettes were great. Valet/check-in was smooth. Room was very clean and comfortable, great bedding and pillows. Enjoyed the large bathroom and amenities like the rainfall shower. Quick walk on the towpath to downtown new hope for shopping and restaurants. 10/10 would stay again

Odette's is a lovely hotel within walking distance of New Hope's eateries, pubs, shops and the Bucks County Playhouse. Their staff is welcoming, friendly and helpful. Many thanks to: Rebecca, who checked us in; Amber, our rooftop dinner waitress; Eileen, the main level restaurant hostess; and Bella, our breakfast waitress. Bella is a new employee, and perfectly complements the vibe of Odette's, as do all of the staff we met. Guests have access to the Roof top lounge. It was wonderful. We went at night, we sat outside, they have heated and give you blankets to use. They have a full menu. The food was delish in both restaurants.

Rooms are lovely and river views are beautiful. Showers are amazing. Dining choices are excellent, but easy stroll into New Hope for many more excellent dining choices. Roof bar is not to be missed as well as deck bar off of main Odette's dining room.

We had a wonderful stay and could not have been more pleased with our experience. The service was excellent from start to finish, and every member of the staff was courteous, welcoming, and attentive. The food was amazing and definitely one of the highlights of our stay. The hotel itself was exceptionally clean and beautifully maintained, which made our stay even more comfortable. The location is perfect, convenient to everything while still providing a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. Between the outstanding service, wonderful staff, excellent food, cleanliness, and ideal location, this hotel exceeded our expectations. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!

The place was beautiful and very clean. All the staff were excellent except we did have a problem with one server on our last day. We were meeting people for a lunch and she overheard our conversation and I said brunch instead of lunch and she stated we only serve brunch on Saturday and Sunday and do you have a reservation. Her tone made my wife feel like we were attacked. Then during the ordering process she was rude to 2 of the ladies at our table. One asked what the sides were and she stated read the menu they are all listed. Well she had forgotten her glasses so she was having a very difficult time reading the menu. The next one asked for a pizza without pepperoni so a plain pizza. The server says you have to tell me if all the other ingredients of the sauce and cheese were acceptable because she could not go tell the kitchen staff a plain pizza because they wouldn’t know what it meant. Her tone during both these interactions was condescending. The Second Lady told her she thought she was being rude. A small disagreement ensued over that. Our server then had a different server finish out our meal. The second server like the rest of the staff was outstanding
