Convenient place for a short or long visit. Nice kitchen/Living space makes it easy for a long day, and a great benefit, even for a short stay. Bed is comfortable and cozy There is not a common area except for the grassy area with a barbecue at salon Terrace if that’s important to you. Check out this easy breezy!

This hotel was very nice, updated, and clean for its value. The staff was exceptional notifying me of where my key would be if I couldn’t check in prior to their office closing (it was on a Sunday). The hotel is extremely safe. No one from the outside has access to the stairs or elevator unless they have a key. I loved how they had lawn chairs with a fire pit and grill, laundry, and a fitness center. Highly recommended for those who have an extended stay or have families.

This far exceeded my expectations. There was a full kitchen, a living area with a very nice sized tv, the mattresses were really comfortable as were the pillows. The towels were really good quality. They even have a gas grill and a fire pit available for guests to use. Check in was easy and the woman who checked me in was as nice as can be.

We were in area for a family get together. It was a very nice place. They have a nice courtyard that you're able to hang out in. There was seating and even a grill. Very pleased with everything about this place. Best smallest apartment. Highly recommend.

Pros: Roomy with a really nice courtyard so you aren't boxed in for extended stays and there is room to hang out with co-workers/family. (Upper levels had a nice big patio table area.) Price is competitive. Property is newer and all the furnishings were comfortable. Manager is responsive and lives on site. FREE washer and dryer on every floor was a big plus for extended stays. Cons: There is no pool or breakfast like a hotel has. If you do not need a handicapped accessible room, be sure you request not to be booked in one. It lacks the counter seating and dishwasher that the others have. I ended up in one and the staff was willing to move me to a 'regular' room. Because it is an extended stay, there were some 'work hard-play hard' guys who were a little noisy after hours, but never a real problem.

The place was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. I really appreciated the free parking and the overall peaceful atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

I enjoy my day. The staff was amazing. The site was nice and clean. I didn’t use laundry or anything like that. If I had any complaint, it would be that the showerhead had rust on it, and that was where the water came out of the spout and there were bugs in the bathroom, not a lot, but that would be my only issue

I will never stay here again.... the area is not safe it was way too much fighting going on in the late night...Upon arrival the lady at the front desk was rude and was missing on both time I went down to the front desk for assistant and the office was still open. The room was clean but not clean. for a new hotel it should of been spotless. The dishes were not clean and my tub was dirty with hair still in it. The lights by the bed were not working and it smelled like cigarette smoke very disappointed

I’m honestly not sure why this property has so many good reviews. The room we stayed in smelled like cigarettes and some kind of old musty smell. The couch was stained all over and the floor was dirty. The end tables next to the bed had bits of crumbs and something sticky on them. I had to clean up some water in the bathroom and the towel I used to wipe it with turned dirty. I was charged $75 more than what was originally emailed to me as the “price you pay” from Expedia for literally no reason. The chairs in the kitchen area had crumbs all over them. We told the lady at the front about the smell in the room and was told it must be due to what the room next to us was cooking. That was not a cooking smell, it literally made our clothes stink and I had to wash them as soon as we got home. The shower’s water pressure comes out so hard that it literally hurts your skin. I would not recommend this property at all.

This was a great set up for our family of four and would definitely be great for an extended business or personal stay. There was a nice community feel to the property, and everybody was very nice. My main issue was that the Wi-Fi service was not good at all. It barely worked on our phones, and I was unable to get an Internet connection through Wi-Fi on my computer at all. I had work that I had hoped to do, but I was unable to do it.

The room was spacious for just the two of us and the addition of the kitchen was great. We really loved having plenty of room to spread out over the almost 2 weeks we were there. The bed was comfortable but not the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. The kitchen could have had a few more things like a baking dish, cutting board and maybe a smaller knife but we made it work with what we had and it was totally fine. The most annoying thing was that it’s posted in the courtyard that children are not to be out there unsupervised under a certain age and this was not enforced. There were 2 very young children running around screaming the last few days we were there. I would definitely stay there again though because overall it was a really positive experience.

Ok price, but you get what you pay for. Noisy from people above, hot (you cannot change the temp of the room even when we asked), and woken up by loud fan. Will not stay again and would not recommend!

This is not a hotel. It's an apartment complex where they also rent rooms daily. If you like sleepless nights this is the place for you. They allow dogs so you'll probably get to listen to them too, like we did ALL NIGHT LONG. Paper thin, unsoundproofed walls and ceilings, concrete mattresses, and the most uncomfortable living room furniture possible. To save $30 over others nearby is definitely not worth it.

StayApt are super convenient for an affordable price! The only thing I would change if I could, is that there was no happy medium when it came to the temp inside the place. It was either too hot and needed the air/fan or too cold and needed the heat to knock the chill off, it was never just pleasant. Also the internet could use a bit of a boost, it was difficult to stay connected and we couldn’t use our devices properly. Lastly the phone service we got there sucked badly, so glad we didn’t have an emergency not sure if my phone would’ve had enough service to make the call. Overall though pretty good stay and the staff was friendly!

Our room was clean and the bed was so cozy! It’s in a great area and we felt very safe and comfortable the whole time! The desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing was our bedroom tv was broken but that’s not a huge deal, because there’s 2 tv’s. I would definitely stay here again!

It was ok but the suite was not well stocked with kitchen supplies. It was noisy at night because of the proximity to a major intersection. The thermostat didn't work.

What I liked about the property was the full kitchen. What I didn't like was the fact that there was not always a staff member available, that someone actually tried to break into one of the fire doors, that my kitchen smelled like cat urine, that the bathroom in the gym area was constantly locked, that there was a domestic disturbance where one of the guests was actually evicted. I'm thinking there is section 8 housing happening in this location.

I enjoyed my stay! Nina was very accommodating and super helpful as it was the first time my friend and I stayed at an extended stay-type hotel. The service was very friendly from all the staff and I really appreciated how the entire place (room, grounds, office) was maintained well! If and/or when I come back to the DMV area, I would stay here again. Thanks so much!

1st off the staff. John was quick to respond when I arrived and answered all of my questions. He got us situated with our room fast. Most welcoming after a long drive. The room was incredible. Clean and just like the photos in the advertisement. I will definitely be staying more often.

Great Stay!! Huge shout out to Janelle! I found her to be professional, welcoming, friendly, and serious about taking care of her guests. My stay was great, but she made it better with a positive attitude and willing to assist in making sure her guests are comfortable. I would stay again!

Great little spot for a short or extended stay. Clean room, large space with a nice kitchen. It's a great value for the price! Highly recommend, however, it's not incredibly convenient without a car. If you plan to walk to get groceries or a bite to eat, the highway has neither a sidewalk nor a shoulder to walk on. We ended up catching a Lyft on the way back from our 0.8 mile walk for safety reasons. The walk there required us to walk on the other side of the guard rails and then wait for the road to clear to get back over once we reached the creek. That doesn't take anything away from our stay, but others may like to know the walkability factor is low except for Roy Rogers and pizza right next door.

Great value for the area! We have a toddler and it was nice to have a 2 room hotel room with a kitchen for such an affordable price. Also safe area with lots of convenient shopping.

I was very pleased with the location, price, size of the unit. Having a stove, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher were very convenient since we stayed four nights. It was quiet and I really liked the courtyard being on the inside. The front desk staff was great, friendly and knowledgeable. This location is very new and in excellent condition. Very convenient to Ft. Belvoir and Mt. Vernon.

We normally stay with family but to give each other space we booked this place.what a gem clean quiet and acres of room in the apartment with a huge comfy bed the staff are so friendly and nothing is to much trouble and even though it's on route 1 it's set far enough back to be very quiet and peaceful at night fantastic experience and we will definitely be booking again as we visit fort hunt 3 times a year to stay with family far far superior to a hotel room or air BnB which we have used in the past

Pros: Roomy with a really nice courtyard so you aren't boxed in for extended stays and there is room to hang out with co-workers/family. (Upper levels had a nice big patio table area.) Price is competitive. Property is newer and all the furnishings were comfortable. Manager is responsive and lives on site. FREE washer and dryer on every floor was a big plus for extended stays. Cons: There is no pool or breakfast like a hotel has. If you do not need a handicapped accessible room, be sure you request not to be booked in one. It lacks the counter seating and dishwasher that the others have. I ended up in one and the staff was willing to move me to a 'regular' room. Because it is an extended stay, there were some 'work hard-play hard' guys who were a little noisy after hours, but never a real problem.

Not a lot of choices in the area and since we stayed 2 nights we appreciated the spacious suite and kitchen. Also did laundry which was nice! Newer property clean and well maintained.

From the moment we walked in, we felt at home. Clean apartment including all the amenities that were practical. Laundry was an added bonus. Lots of space Fantastic outside area with grills and seating options Friendly staff

I enjoyed having what felt like a small apartment for a hotel room, with a kitchen. Everything was clean. Maid comes only once a week, which for me was good since I didn't have to rearrange my stuff every day to keep it out of the maid's way. Hotel location is close to bus stops to/from downtown Alexandria (Bus F1X) and to/from Mt. Vernon (Bus 151). There is a Roy Rogers restaurant right across the street. A 15-minute walk down Richmond Hwy, there is a Safeway grocery store, a Chipotle, a Wendy's, a Dunkin' Donuts...
