Asbury Ocean Club Hotel

Most things about our stay were perfect. The very dark hotel office was a little odd. The dinner as such was good. But dinner to us is a meal. Meat or fish a starch and a vegetable. Paying separate for these items is not a Jersey shore thing. Maybe New York City thing. And no oysters? Any place all year has oysters. So yeah. Odd. Maybe could have been complimentary something for our anniversary. 53 years.

Such clean room and helpful staff! Only thing is that our in-room tablet was not working although they made an attempt to fix it it did not let us order things or put through a few of our requests

Waited 2 hours past our check in time (4pm) for our room to be ready, weren’t given any heads up before we arrived. Was not offered any complimentary voucher for the trouble it caused. Room service was spotty and the service phone was not functioning. Regretful of my spa experience, was made to wait for rooms to be prepared and were not given any grace of additional time for the 90 minute period that was billed but not fulfilled.

Great experience! The staff was top notch, drinks and food were great, the hotel was nicely decorated with a fab vibe, and the room and bathroom was well stocked with great amenities. Will definitely stay again!
