Tuvimos una experiencia increíble en Guest House, con una ubicación perfecta y una recepción inmejorable. Luis hace el posible para hacer el viaje más agradable, desde el cuidado con el desayuno, hasta sugerencias de sitios adonde ir y comer. Un sitio perfecto para parejas!!!

El lugar muy bien ubicado con desayuno incluido bastante bueno, la anteción del encarado Luis es excelente. La habitación un poco chica pero limpia y con lo necesario. El unico inconveniente es la accesibilidad si llegas en auton no hay estacionamiento y el mas cercano esta a 5 min a pie y esta caro

When I got off the taxi in the quiet, early morning and dragged my suitcase down the steep hills, my very first impression was that the area looked a bit dirty. While waiting after ringing the bell, I felt a mix of anticipation and anxiety. However, the staff's kindness and warm hospitality completely changed my mood for the better. After leaving our luggage and sightseeing downtown, we entered our assigned room. The moment I saw the view outside the window, I realized I didn't need anything else. It was the perfect accommodation. I highly recommend booking a room with a Douro River view.

We have just returned from a fabulous 3 night stay in the Guest House Douro and could not have been happier with our decision to stay there. A very unprepossessing exterior gives way to a small gem of a guest house/hotel in an excellent location close to the river front in Ribeira. Our room (402) was comfortable and clean with everything we needed and a gorgeous river view. Rooms in cities do tend to be small but it was not unreasonably so. Breakfast was delicious with an excellent variety of offerings. What really makes this such a delightful place to stay is each and every member of staff, who were all unfailingly helpful and obliging. Shout out particularly to Luiz who was brilliant. If you are going to Porto and like a small bit perfectly formed place to stay you couldn't do better than the Guest House Douro.
