One Oak

The apartment is in a great neighborhood and nice building. It was nicely equipped. The big downside was that the code they sent for the lockbox (to get the entry) key) was incorrect. It was pouring rain and dark. After several tries, we called the emergency number. They gave us another code which was also wrong. We called again and they sent us some distance away to a building with an emergency key from a hidden lockbox. This code was also wrong. We called again, and they sent us back to the apartment with another code, which finally was the correct one. All of this was exhausting and my husband was soaking wet and cold by the time we were able to get into the apartment, almost two hours later. This experience tainted our time in what was otherwise a perfectly fine apartment. We have stayed in dozens of VRBO properties over the years and this is the only time we have run into such a problem. Although the agents we spoke with seemed to be trying their best to hep out, they clearly didn't have the correct information, and there was no one on site to deal with.
