Construction in the back took up alot of parking spaces. The room keys do not work on the side doors and the back door was being remodeled so you could only use the front door to enter the building. It was very inconvenient to have to carry everything all around the whole byilding

The room was recently renovated but seemed cold/harsh. It was musty smelling. The sink did not drain properly. The ice machine on the third floor was broke. There were children screaming, crying, and running down the hall after 10 PM.

I had to travel for a funeral. I booked a room here and ask for early check in and a step in shower. The general manager reached out herself to make sure all of my requests were made possible. They were renovating but everything was still very clean and enviting in the lobby where they serve a really nice breakfast from 6am to 9am. Scrambled eggs, bacon, assorted cereals and breads, waffle machines for fresh waffles. Free water, juice, and coffee with flavored creamer and sugar substitute. The room was nice and large very clean, comfortable king bed ! All showers are step in with glass doors. The staff was unimaginably friendly and polite and went out of there way to my stay wonderful!! If in the area I would definitely choose to stay here. There are also many local attractions within a 10 minute radius. The only thing that would have made it perfect would have been a pool and hot tub. will also be leaving a review on google!!

Ii have no complaints, I have suggestions. It was clean and quiet which are the two most important elements. Right off I85 and close to food. The suggestions: have more outlets in the room. The wall lamps had to be unplugged to accommodate chargers. We never figured out how to turn the lamp in in the corner. There were stains in the shower floor, possibly replace, paint, or find another cleaner. The breaker kept flipping during breakfast cutting off the breakfast appliances, the tv, and the front door in the breakfast area. We also never found additional exits. If there would have been a fire, we only located one entry and exit.

There are railroad tracks right next to the hotel. When a train goes through it shakes the whole building. Our bathroom door wouldn't close, too much paint on the frame. The shower leaked. The lobby bathroom was out of order.

Bathroom was dirty, hot hall ways, small elevator, very limited parking, woke up with bites on me, towels had black hair on them and the curtains have ZERO light filtration. Sun shines right into your eyes. Wont stay here again.

The price and location were the biggest positives of our stay. The hotel is very affordable, in a safe area, and close to tons of restaurants. The staff at the front desk were friendly, and the outside grounds were well maintained with beautiful fall trees. Unfortunately, the cleanliness inside the room was a major disappointment. There was visible mold in the shower and a strong dead-fish odor coming from the shower drain that stank up the entire room. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and squeaked with any movement. The floors were so dirty that my son’s white socks turned black on the bottom within 30 minutes of walking around. We were so grossed out by the overall cleanliness that we skipped the free breakfast entirely. I couldn’t imagine what the kitchen looked like. While the price is lower than other hotels in the area, you definitely get what you pay for. Despite the helpful staff and convenient location, we would not stay here again.

The room stinks of mildew as soon as you walk in. The hotel was aged but renovated recently. Whomever is reapply for the revocation of the room we were in did a horrible job. There was wallpaper or flooring glue everywhere that made the floor look dirty and stained. Was in the bathroom on the tile floor and on the walls and vinyl floor. The toilet had been replaced and there was no bother to fix the floor. The shower was not properly sealed and the floor is actively decaying. The shower door would not stay closed.

The woman who checked us in was amazing! She was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The actual hotel room was sort of run down. The floor was damaged, and in the bathroom there was a huge rust stain behind the toilet. There was also a used bandaid in my son’s bed sheet, which we were hoping was washed.

Had to be moved to 3 different rooms. First two stunk like mildew and smoke so bad. Bathroom had brown stuff all over the shower wall. Construction was taking place at the hotel so I’m sure it was from that. Holes in the ceiling i. The hallway, the room temperature sucked it was either freezing cold or hot muggy and moist. Staff was really nice but we had 3 different employees knock at our door and didn’t give us a chance to answer just used their key and walked right on in. The maintenance guy, the housekeeper and the front desk lady. Breakfast was ok. Nothing much to do in the area. Reminds you of a truck stop area. Overall I will NEVER return again if I can avoid it.

We did not like that a light pole with a very bright light shined in the window all night. And yes we had the curtains and the liner closed. We even put a towel over the curtains. Didn’t help!

Not a bad place too stay, room felt great, bed was great, bathroom was not all the way cleaned like hair left in shower and used soap bar from previous guest. Other than that it got the job done with a good night sleep. Side not, room had a “smart TV” but you couldn’t use any of the apps.

Nice remodeled hotel. Staff are always nice and friendly. 😊Rooms are newly remodeled but the walls are not soundproof.😬 You can hear everything the neighbors are saying. I usually sleep well here and the bed is so comfy I’m late for my job almost every time I stay.🤗 Still too early for breakfast at 7 though. Rooms are always pretty clean. The worst I’ve found is where they forgot to wipe out the refrigerator and I found some halls cough drop wrappers laying around once. No carpet which is nice. I stay here frequently for business. I like it!😊

My hallway door had a large gap under it which concerned me but the building felt safe. Solo travel this stay so safety was a concern. Creepy customer at the desk made sexual comments to me so I lingered a while during check in until he left. The manager was either oblivious or didn't care.

Tasha was amazing and helpful when we had an issue. She went above and beyond. She needs a raise! Staff was friendly. Place was clean, family-friendly, breakfast was delicious. Easily accessible from the highway and lots of food options around the area. Would definitely recommend.
Tasha was amazing and helpful when we had an issue. She went above and beyond. She needs a raise! Staff was friendly. Place was clean, family-friendly, breakfast was delicious. Easily accessible from the highway and lots of food options around the area. Would definitely recommend.

Had to be moved to 3 different rooms. First two stunk like mildew and smoke so bad. Bathroom had brown stuff all over the shower wall. Construction was taking place at the hotel so I’m sure it was from that. Holes in the ceiling i. The hallway, the room temperature sucked it was either freezing cold or hot muggy and moist. Staff was really nice but we had 3 different employees knock at our door and didn’t give us a chance to answer just used their key and walked right on in. The maintenance guy, the housekeeper and the front desk lady. Breakfast was ok. Nothing much to do in the area. Reminds you of a truck stop area. Overall I will NEVER return again if I can avoid it.

I’m limited on how long my review could be so short story, Clerk messed up reservations multiple times, room and hotel were clean, but we did wake up the second day and had ants all in our pizza box from the night before. So no leftovers. My main concern was that the clerk was extremely disrespectful to a black male teenager for absolutely no reason. She behaved in a way that made me uncomfortable. She claimed he was on the phone talking about her and telling people she was a bad employee ( I never heard him mention her ) she demanded to know who he was talking to, what his room number was and etc. The entire conversation was nonsense. She then told him to go wait in his room until she was finished checking people in. The teenager was well mannered and did go back to his room after HE APOLOGIZED for offending her ! Good job at raising a fine young man! Because the clerk needed to be apologizing not him. On check out my deposit envelope had been redone and my name signed back ! Which I did not do. Not a big deal but also unprofessional to sign someone else’s name to anything. I don’t care how nice a hotel / room is without good service it’s a NO for me. The elderly clerk was amazing and helped to fix the room situation so for that I am thankful b/c it was 12am and we had just drove 6 hours with three kids, we needed sleep.

The price and location were the biggest positives of our stay. The hotel is very affordable, in a safe area, and close to tons of restaurants. The staff at the front desk were friendly, and the outside grounds were well maintained with beautiful fall trees. Unfortunately, the cleanliness inside the room was a major disappointment. There was visible mold in the shower and a strong dead-fish odor coming from the shower drain that stank up the entire room. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and squeaked with any movement. The floors were so dirty that my son’s white socks turned black on the bottom within 30 minutes of walking around. We were so grossed out by the overall cleanliness that we skipped the free breakfast entirely. I couldn’t imagine what the kitchen looked like. While the price is lower than other hotels in the area, you definitely get what you pay for. Despite the helpful staff and convenient location, we would not stay here again.

It was convenient for an overnight stay after visit nearby Childress Vineyards. Shopping and dining options close by as well. Staff very friendly. Could tell there had been upgrades to this older property but rooms were clean and very spacious. Bed was comfy. Overall, we enjoy our stay.

As a solo female traveler Comfort Inn & Suites 1525 Cotton Grove Rd. Lexington. was a great hotel to stay in. Fantastic room service. Very clean. Quiet place not right on interstate. Full breakfast every morning. Coffee available all day. Front desk and all the staff I met were very nice. Princess at front desk always spoke and asked if I needed anything. I was there 4 days in late May. I enjoyed my stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Lexington. Definitely a 10-star hotel which mainly the staff creates and maintains. Definitely will be back...

There are railroad tracks right next to the hotel. When a train goes through it shakes the whole building. Our bathroom door wouldn't close, too much paint on the frame. The shower leaked. The lobby bathroom was out of order.

I had booked this for a weekend event in Lexington and the price wasn't bad.... the hotel has been redone and has new owners and the software was buggy. There were people checking in before me who didn't have their reserved room available, and it made me nervous until i took my turn and checked in (my room was available). The check in process took way longer than it should have, but new systems and new employees are a tough combination. The bed was comfy, the sheets were not really what i would call clean (don't expect to find hair in my bed) but it was a nice room. I found an ant on the door handle coming back from breakfast on the first morning i was there and didn't think much of it, but that night when i got back late there was a trail of ants through the room along one edge of the wall. They were just ants, so i waited until the morning to report it since i didn't really want them cleaning/spraying while i was in the room still. I didn't investigate where they were coming from or why they were trailing into the area behind the desk, but it seemed odd. Maybe they just sprayed and cleaned before i got there and they came back... i don't know. Breakfast was OK, not a lot of options, and they ran out of some things. Plan on a very carb oriented meal, there were no options for actual proteins the morning i ate, unless the gravy for the biscuits has some? Not my thing, so i ate a waffle. There was no yogurt, no peanut butter, no eggs, bacon or sausage...

Ii have no complaints, I have suggestions. It was clean and quiet which are the two most important elements. Right off I85 and close to food. The suggestions: have more outlets in the room. The wall lamps had to be unplugged to accommodate chargers. We never figured out how to turn the lamp in in the corner. There were stains in the shower floor, possibly replace, paint, or find another cleaner. The breaker kept flipping during breakfast cutting off the breakfast appliances, the tv, and the front door in the breakfast area. We also never found additional exits. If there would have been a fire, we only located one entry and exit.

I arrived Thursday night, the girl at the front desk was a angel as I was lost, she answered the telephone when I called giving me perfect directions then stayed on the telephone with me making sure I found my way. Please make sure someone in upper management acknowledges how kind she is.

I was surprised at how nice the motel is for the price. It was clean and the breakfast options were decent. The only issue was how dirty the shower floor was, it definitely needs a deep cleaning. Beds are EXTRA FIRM, and didnt do my back & hips justice as a side-sleeper, but would definitely stay there again.

Check in was cordial and efficient. The king room was more than adequate for one person. Everything was clean and fresh, though the furniture was showing a little wear. The micro wave was located in an awkward cubbyhole area but it worked and the minifridge was nice and cold. The bathroom was clean with all the necessary toiletries available. Breakfast was a little above average. The one thing that disturbs me is when machines are smarter than I am. Being technologically challenged it was a supreme effort and probably more of an accident that I got the tv to work.
