Comfort Inn & Suites Wildwood - The Villages

Someone booked a stay at this hotel through hotels.com but put in my email address for their email address. Since hotels.com and its partners do not care about data privacy, they don't bother to confirm email addresses for transactional emails. I marked all average for the review since that seems fair having never been to this hotel or this part of Florida. I will say that in general I don't stay with choice hotels anymore because most of the properties are too dated and not in good locations. I mostly stay at Marriott and the occasional Hilton. Perhaps hotels.com should require users to verify their email before sending them transactional e-mails that allow anyone to presumably cancel or modify a booking. Also, for most chain hotels, it is usually cheaper to book direct instead of through a third party.

My room #326 was little smell of moldy. But we had a good stay

The breakfast was ok but closed early. Even though our room was a no smoking room it smelled as though it had been in the past. Didn’t feel very clean. The shelf under the sink was dusty. The location was great. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Dirty and dusty with floor not vacuumed. The staff were fantastic to us. And very helpful! Dirty microwave . Funky smelling room.

I need a handicapped room. I have a bruised arm as the towel arm is placed in a dangerous spot.
