Wir haben uns in diesem Hotel sehr wohl gefühlt - das Zimmer und die Räumlichkeiten sind sehr gut, das Frühstück phantastisch und das Hotelteam perfect. Die Lage mitten in der Stadt rundet den sehr positiven Eindruck ab!

The two girls that helped me out were extremely helpful and kind. One was a bit newer, the other had been there a while. They went out of their way to let me in the gym until they closed, as well as helped me out with tea, and recommendation. I didn’t have wifi in my room and they did their best to get the wifi situated in a way that helped me. I didn’t end up getting better signal, but it was the effort on their part that showed me they were willing to go above and beyond. Close trip to Hallstatt, and Bad Ischl itself was beautiful. Wish there were more open food options but if you look hard enough or ask for recommendations you can find a couple good ones. Great location right by the water, restaurant had a fantastic steak, and breakfast buffet was also very good. Will return one day.

The reservation said parking was included, but it wasn't and the lot wasn't terribly far, but was still inconvenient. We got charged extra for our dog, which is fine, but this should have been indicated when making the reservation.

So geht Hotel! Checkin unkompliziert, schnell und mega freundlich. Zimmer, Bad, Betten 🔝. Frühstück sehr umfangreich und frisch. Service zuvorkommend und auch super freundlich. Das gesamte Team, immer ansprechbar. Hier ist der Gast willkommen und geschätzt. Achja, die Lage ist „besser geht’s nicht“! Das goldene Schiff wird unser Stammhotel. Sehr empfehlenswert.

I clearly stated 2 adults + 2 children when ordering a "Family Room" pictured showing bunk beds for the children. I was charged an additional 90 Euros (45/child) and was told they charge for the number of people in the room regardless of my disclosure of four people at the outset. As I see it, I paid 90 extra Euros to rent two towels.

Wir haben uns in diesem Hotel sehr wohl gefühlt - das Zimmer und die Räumlichkeiten sind sehr gut, das Frühstück phantastisch und das Hotelteam perfect. Die Lage mitten in der Stadt rundet den sehr positiven Eindruck ab!

So geht Hotel! Checkin unkompliziert, schnell und mega freundlich. Zimmer, Bad, Betten 🔝. Frühstück sehr umfangreich und frisch. Service zuvorkommend und auch super freundlich. Das gesamte Team, immer ansprechbar. Hier ist der Gast willkommen und geschätzt. Achja, die Lage ist „besser geht’s nicht“! Das goldene Schiff wird unser Stammhotel. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Our room had a really nice view with the river and mountains. Super convenient to train station, shopping area and eating places. Staff were also nice.

The family room had plenty of space for me and my two adult children. The staff was nice and helpful. The breakfast included was very good! We ate dinner at the restaurant and there were many options and the food and service was good.

The two girls that helped me out were extremely helpful and kind. One was a bit newer, the other had been there a while. They went out of their way to let me in the gym until they closed, as well as helped me out with tea, and recommendation. I didn’t have wifi in my room and they did their best to get the wifi situated in a way that helped me. I didn’t end up getting better signal, but it was the effort on their part that showed me they were willing to go above and beyond. Close trip to Hallstatt, and Bad Ischl itself was beautiful. Wish there were more open food options but if you look hard enough or ask for recommendations you can find a couple good ones. Great location right by the water, restaurant had a fantastic steak, and breakfast buffet was also very good. Will return one day.

This is a beautiful property! I highly recommend a room with a balcony and view of the river. The rooms were modern, clean, a wonderful shower and relaxingly quiet. We used the spa in the evening and it was perfect-clean and refreshing. The breakfast in the morning was the best we have had in Europe! The selection was very big, coffee amazing and such care with our entire experience. The only thing we were sad about is that we inly stayed one night bc of other travel plans

Compared to other hotels in town, the rooms at this price point are much smaller, with small windows facing inwards. There are no refrigerators, etc. Most importantly!!! the bathroom door lock is broken, and the door cannot be closed properly. Overall, it’s not good.

Hotellet ligger precis intill floden och även gågatan. Lätt att parkera i närheten. Hjälpsam och trevlig personal. Frukosten erbjöd mycket att välja på, och känns väl genomtänkt, mycket av det där extra som ger dagen en superbra start. Passar inte kudden? -då finns det fler att välja på.
