Brand new boutique hotel. Great noise insulation which came in handy during festivities even if the hotel has no bar just next to it. Staff super helpful and great breakfast. We’d stay again.

We needed Google Maps to locate the iron door that serves as the hotel entrance. Once we found it and pushed the buzzer, check-in was very easy, and the staff was extremely friendly. However, there are steps leading up to the front desk, and there is no elevator. Fortunately, the front desk attendant assisted us with our luggage, so we didn't have to carry it up the 7 to 10 steps. The room was fantastic—definitely the first king bed we've had in Europe instead of two twin beds pushed together. The bathroom was very well-equipped with all the necessary items and then some for a comfortable hotel stay. The top-quality coffee and kettle in the room were great additions. The blackout curtains worked perfectly, providing a dark environment that was very helpful. Although we were on the first floor (second floor in some regions), we did experience some street muted noise and the sounds of people outside. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would definitely stay here again.

Had to find a night’s accommodation in Leon before an early train. The Colonial Palce was 10 minutes walk from the station, took my bags at 10am and put them in my room when available, checked me in then and when I got back at 7pm couldn’t be more helpful. I have poor Spanish but Eva had excellent English and was very clear about how to get out of the hotel early the next morning. This is a boutique hotel, with anbout 12 big rooms, and deserves that title. The room was very comfortable, the shower fabulous, the bed massive and the TV and hair dryer were high end. Sadly I had to leave before breakfast. All in all a whirlwind, but exceptionally pleasurable, stay. I would certainly come back.

Beautiful hotel in an excellent location. The smell in the entrance is amazing. The rooms are beautiful an super comfortable. The shower head is really good. We parked in a public parking that’s like 3 minutes walking. Everything is close. The bed and the pillows are very comfortable.

Ha sido magnífica!!! La ubicación del hotel en el centro de la avenida peatonal de acceso al pleno centro. Con todo tipo de establecimientos de servicios y ocio en el entorno, y un silencio dentro y fuera del hotel durante la noche para descansar. El parking público está a tiro de piedra, de fácil acceso y con plazas amplias. Mención especial a las dos empleadas Eva y Carmen: educadas, resolutivas, simpáticas, profesionales.... Volveremos a usar este establecimiento!!!!

This a great small boutique hotel located 8 minutes walking to the train station and 5 minutes to the old town center with parks, museums and great restaurants. The room was the best one of our trip through 6 cities in Spain and Portugal.

This is a lovely hotel, in a beautiful, convenient location. We had a room on the street side, and it was a bit noisy all night. The room was great, otherwise. We had a little trouble getting in - there isn't an open lobby, and you had to ring the bell at the door to get in. Obvious to some, but not us!

It's a superb boutique hotel, although they have not facilities it compensates in other things. The room with double aspect windows and looking to a pedestrianised street and bathroom spacious and luxurious. Staff kind and helpful. The smell of exotic fragrances in the lobby and staircase is welcoming from the start. For breakfast i was recommended a place nearby and laundry also near. Every museum or church at a walking distance and the train station 15 minutos walk. It was a great place for my week in León. Really recommended.

Beautifully renovated building. We will stay again as we absolutely will come back to Leon. Comfy bed and hypoallergenic pillows and they have Dyson hairdryers in the very high standard bathrooms. Shower had great power. Only comment I would have is the very strong scent used in the public/reception areas. Suggest to reduce this as it was way too much. I guess some people are ok with this so it’s just personal opinion

Beautiful hotel close to the old town and restaurants. One of the best we have stayed in. If you are not looking for amenities like onsite restaurant or swimming pool, this is definitely the place to stay. 5 start all the way

Ficamos na suíte Júnior, enorme, porém precisando de atualização, com exceção do banheiro, que é muito bom. Além disso, faltam tomadas e o sistema de iluminação é confuso. Também não gostamos da cama, incompatível com o preço do hotel. Café da manhã caro (15 euros por pessoa). Boa localização e equipe gentil (destaque para Eva e Antônio).

We were warmly received and there was a personalized note on the room's table when we entered the room, welcoming us to the hotel. The room was spotless. The hallways were spotless. The room was quiet. The whole staff and friendly and helpful.

Very nice place to stay in the beautiful city of Leon. If you can manage to get the terrace room number 301 you will not be disappointed. The terrace is as large as the room itself, and the hotel is perfectly situated for exploring the city by foot.

We needed Google Maps to locate the iron door that serves as the hotel entrance. Once we found it and pushed the buzzer, check-in was very easy, and the staff was extremely friendly. However, there are steps leading up to the front desk, and there is no elevator. Fortunately, the front desk attendant assisted us with our luggage, so we didn't have to carry it up the 7 to 10 steps. The room was fantastic—definitely the first king bed we've had in Europe instead of two twin beds pushed together. The bathroom was very well-equipped with all the necessary items and then some for a comfortable hotel stay. The top-quality coffee and kettle in the room were great additions. The blackout curtains worked perfectly, providing a dark environment that was very helpful. Although we were on the first floor (second floor in some regions), we did experience some street muted noise and the sounds of people outside. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would definitely stay here again.

This property is 10/10 for a reason. It’s a beautiful boutique hotel and you are made to feel special even if you stay for 1 night. I wish I had longer. I would highly recommend this property. The location is easy. I arrived by train and it was a short easy walk from the station. The hotel is so quiet and so peaceful. It’s just as easy to walk into the old town as it was from the station, to explore and wonder the cobbled streets. The bed is comfy. The room is spacious. A real gem of a hotel. The staff were so so helpful. Thank you all.

Had to find a night’s accommodation in Leon before an early train. The Colonial Palce was 10 minutes walk from the station, took my bags at 10am and put them in my room when available, checked me in then and when I got back at 7pm couldn’t be more helpful. I have poor Spanish but Eva had excellent English and was very clear about how to get out of the hotel early the next morning. This is a boutique hotel, with anbout 12 big rooms, and deserves that title. The room was very comfortable, the shower fabulous, the bed massive and the TV and hair dryer were high end. Sadly I had to leave before breakfast. All in all a whirlwind, but exceptionally pleasurable, stay. I would certainly come back.

Ha sido magnífica!!! La ubicación del hotel en el centro de la avenida peatonal de acceso al pleno centro. Con todo tipo de establecimientos de servicios y ocio en el entorno, y un silencio dentro y fuera del hotel durante la noche para descansar. El parking público está a tiro de piedra, de fácil acceso y con plazas amplias. Mención especial a las dos empleadas Eva y Carmen: educadas, resolutivas, simpáticas, profesionales.... Volveremos a usar este establecimiento!!!!

This a great small boutique hotel located 8 minutes walking to the train station and 5 minutes to the old town center with parks, museums and great restaurants. The room was the best one of our trip through 6 cities in Spain and Portugal.

Ficamos na suíte Júnior, enorme, porém precisando de atualização, com exceção do banheiro, que é muito bom. Além disso, faltam tomadas e o sistema de iluminação é confuso. Também não gostamos da cama, incompatível com o preço do hotel. Café da manhã caro (15 euros por pessoa). Boa localização e equipe gentil (destaque para Eva e Antônio).

Brand new boutique hotel. Great noise insulation which came in handy during festivities even if the hotel has no bar just next to it. Staff super helpful and great breakfast. We’d stay again.

Muy bien ubicado. Confortable, acogedor y tranquilo. Habitación decorada y equipada con mucho detalle. Servicio atento y amable. Único aspecto que mejoraría sería el desayuno. Es variado, pero creo que desmerece el resto de equipamiento-servicio ofrecido por el hotel. Creo que es mejorable en cuanto a la oferta de productos frescos- caseros, pecando en exceso de productos procesados y o de calidad justa. En líneas generales aceptable, pero me parece que no está a la altura del confort-calidad del resto del establecimiento.

De hoy en adelante no existe para mí otro Hotel en León. Elegante y cómodo..un desayuno, genial y alto nivel de elegancia y confort a un precio accesible. Definitivamente no hay otro que lo iguale pequeño muy bien situado vamos mi propia casa en León.

It's a superb boutique hotel, although they have not facilities it compensates in other things. The room with double aspect windows and looking to a pedestrianised street and bathroom spacious and luxurious. Staff kind and helpful. The smell of exotic fragrances in the lobby and staircase is welcoming from the start. For breakfast i was recommended a place nearby and laundry also near. Every museum or church at a walking distance and the train station 15 minutos walk. It was a great place for my week in León. Really recommended.

Splendido boutique hotel in zona pedonale a pochi passi dal centro storico. Servizio gentilissimo (grazie Antonio!!), camera spaziosissima (una deluxe), pulita, rinnovata. Bagno grande, doccia comodissima. Insomma, tutto perfetto. Unico neo: la bocchetta dell’aria condizionata che punta leggermente verso un bordo del letto. Tenendo la ventola al minimo si stava bene, ma queste sono cose che un allestitore di camere di albergo dovrebbe notare.

My two daughters stayed at the Colonial Palace in León, Spain, while walking the Camino, and they were absolutely amazed by their experience. After more than three weeks on the trail, this stay was exactly what they needed. The room was beautiful, spotless, and felt incredibly luxurious. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout their stay. The food was outstanding, and every detail seemed thoughtfully done. What stood out most was the bed—both of them said it was probably the most comfortable bed they have ever slept in. After weeks of walking, being able to sink into such a comfortable bed was a real treat. They also loved the shower, especially the large showerhead that provided full coverage and felt truly refreshing after long days on the Camino. Overall, their experience was exceptional. From the accommodations and staff to the food and comfort, everything exceeded their expectations. They would highly recommend staying here and would gladly return in the future.
