A lovely room (no.1) with an adjoining small sitting room and a welcome retreat from the sweltering heat outdoors. Thermal curtains kept the early morning sunlight and heat out and, combined with a very comfortable bed and pillows, led to a good night's sleep. The cooked breakfast was tasty and filling (and big enough to make a sandwich to go). The property is in a pleasant area with nearby bus stops for direct buses into the centre, to near the beachfront, train station, Canterbury and Whitstable.

B&B situé dans un quartier pavillonnaire sans signalement particulier donc peu aisé à trouver. Accès au parking et parking biscornu. Le peu d'entretien des abords fait qu'un véhicule surbaissé accroche ses échappement sur le seuil du portail. L'affluence de la rue ne permet pas, par ailleurs de garer la voiture à l'extérieur. Chambres situées au 1 étage avec un accès par un escalier escarpé et tortueux rendant l'escalade malaisée pour des personnes âgées ou à mobilité réduite. Prix très élevé par rapport à la prestation. A noter, qu'ayant été obligé de quitter l'hébergement avant l'horaire du petit déjeuner, aucune remise ne nous a été accordées pour ne pas avoir consommé. Préférable de se diriger vers un hôtel qui offre des prestations standard.

We booked on the day for an impromptu jump in the sea at end of heatwave and they were kind enough to let us check in late. Room was well laid out and clean, great shower. And lots of nice cooked options for breakfast! Also a dedicated car park at the back :)

Die Frühstücksauswahl war für ein B & B sehr beeindruckend. Das Zimmer war sehr gemütlich und die Gastgeber waren sehr sympathisch und hilfsbereit. Perfekt war auch der Parkplatz direkt an der Unterkunft.
