Excellent stay, enjoyed the outside bar on the second level. Was a little cold for the outdoor pool but the are look amazing. Staff very professional, courteous and helpful. Will definitely stay here again when I travel to Cali.

Courtyard Marriott is our home away from home in Marina Del Rey! Wonderful staff, comfortable rooms, great restaurant/bar, awesome location right on the marina. Highly recommended!

The hotel and check in were great. Restaurant dining as well. However, valet and room service left much to be desired. We had several rooms there and although the daily cleaning was done, the same dirty glassware stayed in the exact same spot for 4 days. We were seeing how long it would take them to remove and replace and they never did. The valet was poor. You literally had to walk up to them each time when you dropped your car off. There were a couple of nice kids but most of them stood at the podium looking at their phones. Not sure if I would stay there again to be honest. It's a lot of money for valet parking and room to be just ok. The restaurant I would go back to. Good food.

Beautiful bar overlooking Marina, clean, bright, good access to walking trails. Food and drinks at restaurant at hotel were good but expensive. Many restaurants and shopping are close by but a 20-25 min walk. If you can walk, do that because the parking is limited and you probably have to pay. Use Waymo-we wanted to buy walked instead.

The outdoor patio area was great! The area is somewhat walkable to the beach areas. There was a water taxi I wish I knew was a thing! We didn’t figure it out until right before we left. Lol

We had a good and relaxing week. We even can saw the July 4th Fireworks out of the windows of our room. Dinner at Brizo was very nice. Valet did great and help charge my EV when returning in the evening.

Promised Marina view, didn’t get it. No room safe. Housekeeping was terrible!!! Needed to call 2 out of 4 nights for bath towels, wash cloths, and believe it or not Toilet Paper. Also coffee, sweetener, and she didn’t even clean the counter top. We sure expected more for our money.

Waitress asked us to move from water view. Only when she found out we were guests did she become nuce and let us have a water view. Service was extremely slow. It was busy but still slow. Beautiful rooftop and nice toom but super small.

While the initial impression walking in the lobby is positive (it's big, open, and tastefully decorated), this is offset by the staff at check in. The destination fee was not explained well and they made it sound like the complimentary breakfast was some special bonus they were providing to us when asked if we were celebrating any special occasion. We were celebrating a 25 year anniversary and had booked and paid for a deluxe room with a king bed, sofa, balcony, and view. When handing us our room key we were told they had an accessible room ready (we did not book accessible, but it sounded like that was all that was ready despite it being after 4pm). The room turned out to not have a sofa or view as we had paid for. We immediately returned to the front desk to request the room we had booked and paid for. They changed our room accordingly but with no apology or explanation as to why they tried to put us in the first room. Our room was right beside the pool bar so Friday night was very loud until 10 pm. Restaurant service was very slow and the side dishes were terrible. Not a great way to celebrate 25 years of marriage!

We loved the location. It's right on the marina and within walking distance of the beach. The staff were helpful and efficient. The room was modern, clean and well-appointed. The beds were incredibly comfortable. We'll be back.

The bed was a little bit not comfy. Too low and too soft, in my opinion. The shower was for wheelchairs, which was fine. However, it don’t have any covers whatsoever. So the water was pooling on the bathroom floor. Then the room description and the front desk said that our room had a partial view (which is more expensive than the regular room). But when I got to the room, the “view” was the swamp, not the marina. It was not a view at all. Had I known then I just got the regular room for cheaper rate. Lastly, we were given drink vouchers. But they didn’t disclose that these vouchers are for the cheapest and low shelf drinks. I guess it was okay but I wished they were honest. Full disclosure goes a long way.

The view of the marina was amazing, the restaurant selection was great. The restaurant manager Mr. Hendricks went above and beyond when we arrived after the restaurant was closed. The front desk staff were very accommodating. Absolutely will stay there again…

The Courtyard is a nice hotel set in the quiet Marina del Rey just minutes from the beach. It is also very conveniently located close to LAX just a 15-20min drive. Staff were friendly and the rooms were a good size and well maintained. Lobby and restaurant are beautifully designed and cosy. Outdoor bar was also really enjoyable. Catering options however I found limited if you do not want to dine at the restaurant. There was no room service options available which surprised me considering the price can be over $300 per night. The cafe in the lobby was closed most of the weekend. Did not see any vending machines for drinks/snacks. Very few cafes/restaurants within walking distance but able to order for delivery to hotel. Overall a very pleasant stay.

We loved the location. It's right on the marina and within walking distance of the beach. The staff were helpful and efficient. The room was modern, clean and well-appointed. The beds were incredibly comfortable. We'll be back.

Beautiful bar overlooking Marina, clean, bright, good access to walking trails. Food and drinks at restaurant at hotel were good but expensive. Many restaurants and shopping are close by but a 20-25 min walk. If you can walk, do that because the parking is limited and you probably have to pay. Use Waymo-we wanted to buy walked instead.

The Courtyard is a nice hotel set in the quiet Marina del Rey just minutes from the beach. It is also very conveniently located close to LAX just a 15-20min drive. Staff were friendly and the rooms were a good size and well maintained. Lobby and restaurant are beautifully designed and cosy. Outdoor bar was also really enjoyable. Catering options however I found limited if you do not want to dine at the restaurant. There was no room service options available which surprised me considering the price can be over $300 per night. The cafe in the lobby was closed most of the weekend. Did not see any vending machines for drinks/snacks. Very few cafes/restaurants within walking distance but able to order for delivery to hotel. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Waitress asked us to move from water view. Only when she found out we were guests did she become nuce and let us have a water view. Service was extremely slow. It was busy but still slow. Beautiful rooftop and nice toom but super small.

While the initial impression walking in the lobby is positive (it's big, open, and tastefully decorated), this is offset by the staff at check in. The destination fee was not explained well and they made it sound like the complimentary breakfast was some special bonus they were providing to us when asked if we were celebrating any special occasion. We were celebrating a 25 year anniversary and had booked and paid for a deluxe room with a king bed, sofa, balcony, and view. When handing us our room key we were told they had an accessible room ready (we did not book accessible, but it sounded like that was all that was ready despite it being after 4pm). The room turned out to not have a sofa or view as we had paid for. We immediately returned to the front desk to request the room we had booked and paid for. They changed our room accordingly but with no apology or explanation as to why they tried to put us in the first room. Our room was right beside the pool bar so Friday night was very loud until 10 pm. Restaurant service was very slow and the side dishes were terrible. Not a great way to celebrate 25 years of marriage!

The hotel and check in were great. Restaurant dining as well. However, valet and room service left much to be desired. We had several rooms there and although the daily cleaning was done, the same dirty glassware stayed in the exact same spot for 4 days. We were seeing how long it would take them to remove and replace and they never did. The valet was poor. You literally had to walk up to them each time when you dropped your car off. There were a couple of nice kids but most of them stood at the podium looking at their phones. Not sure if I would stay there again to be honest. It's a lot of money for valet parking and room to be just ok. The restaurant I would go back to. Good food.

We had a good and relaxing week. We even can saw the July 4th Fireworks out of the windows of our room. Dinner at Brizo was very nice. Valet did great and help charge my EV when returning in the evening.

Check-in and customer service should be improved. The front desk took well over 20 minutes to pick up the phone. No early check-in, not even within the hour. I booked an ADA room with a king bed and sofabed for two people, but Danielle gave us a regular non-ADA room. The manager was nice enough to upgrade us to a top-level king room, but it still was not ADA. Great location, good onsite restaurant (Brizo) with a fantastic marina view. Good options for yacht rentals. Rates don't include the $20 destination fee or onsite parking fee.

They charge a facility fee of 20/day and parking is 55/day. For the 20 you get to buy 20 of food or drink. They also give out cocktail coupons. We got 2 sprites -no alcohol in them - and they charged 15/each. For SOFA out of the bar gun! I find all their fees excessive. Felt nickeled and dimed at every turn. It took forever at check out because they charge all purchases to your room. Then upon check out remove each and every charge that adds up to the 20 per day. Seems they could use an upgrade to their system to make it guest friendly! Took the dude over 20 mins to finish removing the charges. Waste of my time.
