Trend Hotel at LAX Airport

Very easy parking! Fast check in/check out. Rooms were clean with housekeeping stopping by everyday to restock towels!

This is a motel. Very close to SoFi Stadium, but it would not be safe to walk there though. Room was well equipped with tv, refrig, micro. No coffee maker and ice machine not working. Daily housekeeping and free parking. Person who checked us in was friendly and suggested upstairs room. First night there were people yelling in the parking lot for at least 20 minutes. No incidents the next 3 nights.

It was just a regular motel. It is close to Lax airport and we just needed to spend night so it was ok. Cleanliness was ok not bad and since it had hardwood flooring atleast it felt clean. Below par towels and amenities. Coffee and tea available at the check in counter only.

Friendly staff. Parking in front next to unit. Surrounding area is not bad. Many hotel chains nearby.

Was allowed early check in which was convenient. Few issue however, Ive machine was 25c and didn't work. Put my coin in to no ice. Second, microwave in room didn't work. Heated my sandwich 5 mins and was still cold. Went to inform manager at reception twice, but do not respond to the call bell. Positive, great location. Near the freeway, lots around Imperial Hwy. Sofi close, only 10 mins via car to stadium. Bed comfy, room clean. Would I stay here again. If the ice machine and microwave worked ,of course!

The name of this hotel is misleading - Trend Hotel, you think of a bit of glam. I should have expected what we were met with when I saw the price. It's a motel converted into a hotel. It was a little shocking when we arrived, but check-in was fine and the room itself was comfortable and spacious. However, there were no hooks to hang towels up on and not enough seats or tables in the room. There was no water dispenser except for the hot water and instant coffee dispenser in the little office. You have to go outside to get tea or coffee, which is kind of scary at night in this area. No breakfast and the coffee cups they use are low quality, caps kept falling off and the liquids kept spilling everywhere. The motel is by a road but thankfully the room was relatively well sealed that the road noise didn't bother us. Thankfully the shower was hot and strong, the beds comfy and clean, and the wifi strong enough for us to do work on.

Our first time staying at the property and will definitely be back in the future, free parking was great, and having places to eat near the hotel was a nice plus!

For non smoking roomed it smelt like weed. TV didn’t work, USB outlets all 4 didn’t work. Asked for a new room and didn’t get one. Ice machine didn’t work. Boogers on the walls and poop on the towels. Only thing that was nice is the lighting for parking is very bright

Staff was amazing to help with directions. And for those who get up early in the morning hoping for Coffee it is complimentary in the office! So important for those who travel without a car, because the nearby Starbucks & McDonald's only serve coffee in their drive-through before 6am.

Found hairs in all the towels and the floor was very dirty.

The room floor and the bathroom needed a deep clean. There were no hooks or counter space in the bathroom at all. I would not stay here again.

The bedding was stained which was not ok!! On top of that there was hair on the towels and throughout the shower! Would not advise anyone to stay here based on cleanliness

You get what you pay for! They definitely don’t clean very good. We got there and were walking around in our socks then when we took off our socks, they were completely black and had to throw them away. We had to lay down towels to get around because the floor was so filthy. The noise from the road is so so very loud. The area is also kinda sketchy. I don’t recommend.

Lifted up toilet seat to urine, hairs under the seat and shower floor. Please clean your rooms staff

The hard floors were so dirty, I walked from the bed to the bathroom and back barefoot and my feet were literally black. The rest of the room was clean and the staff was great but it's obvious that the floors are not mopped. We had a VERY loud neighbor who clearly had visitors (against rules) and they were outside at 2am screaming and fighting.. there was no hotel intervention at all. That part wasn't great.

The hotel was filthy. Splatter all over the walls mold in the shower bugs crawling around somebody else’s hair wrapped around my toes when I got into bed stains on the towels. It was just foul. The walls are also paper thin, and I could hear people in the next room talking. I was in town working and literally did not relax at all in this hotel. I’d get a shower sleep and leave immediately every day.

Bed is super comfortable, shower had good pressure. Only thing was having to deal with roaches.

I feel a bit duped by the positive reviews. While the room was spacious and renovated, it was not very clean. The walls were dirty, there was a cigarette burn in the comforter, and there was hair in the shower drain. The neighborhood is not the greatest and it's very noisy between the cars whizzing by on the street outside and sirens.

I’ve stayed here twice, first time the room was better. Room 205 door doesn’t close properly, the tv in the room turns off every hour even though no sleep timer is on. States non-smoking room but room smelled like cigarettes.

Just a short drive from LAX , easy to find. Room was very big and clean. The air con was pretty noisy but we were so tired it didn't cause us much issues. We drove to a nearby Walmart, took about ten mins.check in was easy and the man at desk very polite and helpful.

This was basic accommodations but my room was clean and modern.

Room wasn’t bad really like shower. Nowhere to hang your clothes; although room was very spacious. Around room door was dirty fingerprints. Homemade plastic juice bottle ashtray was by the door although this was a non-smoking room. TV had issue that was fixed by staff but issue returned after TV was turned on after being off. Great Cable lots of latest movies

The hotel sits along a very loud road which we heard throughout the night and early morning. The rooms are basic. The first one we were given smelled of smoke and fortunately we were able to change to a different room that smelled better.

Renovated, but the floors were a bit dirty, there is a leak in the shower, plus the window screen was broken. Extremely loud at night since we're on a busy street.

Everything was good overall, nice staff and clean building. Although the desk attendant was kind of rude to me upon check in which I did not like. Was asking me about visitors indicating non overnight which I really feel is none of their business. Also proceeded to try and get me to pay a 50 dollar “cleaning fee” after Expedia told me I paid for everything, including in the bio. Between feeling like my mom checked me in and the extra fee trying to be swindled out of me I’m not sure if I’ll come back despite really liking the place. I’d rather pay a little more somewhere else and not be bombarded with regulations.

I stayed there to be closer to Sofi Stadium, And it was very convenient! I didn’t had to struggle to go and come back from the concert, the room was actually better than i expected! looked pretty decent and modern, I would definitely stay again! the only thing that was extremely annoying was the housekeeper banging on my door at 8am for no reason, don’t they have access of which room is available or not? i was planning on resting a bit more but was forced to wake up!

easy check in hassle free

The Trend staff was very helpful and attentive. The location was perfect and close to the SoFi stadium. It was a great stay for us to go see the Beyonce concert that week in LA. Also very easy to get to from LAX.

-Get there around 11:30PM (called ahead of time to let them know we’d be late) & he asked if I had cash for the deposit, not card. I gave him the cash & asked if I could get a receipt. He said “No. I’ll just give it back to you in the morning.” I again asked if he was sure he couldn’t give me a receipt and he said no. -Get to our ADA room, and from first glance , all is fine -Go in the restroom, and there’s literally about 5-6 long black hairs all over the towels. Disgusting. -Shower was clean, but the whole reason we booked an ADA room is bc I need a roll in shower due to disability, & the shower head that was specifically lower so it could reach me didn’t work. -The bedding smelled like bleach so strongly it gave me a headache -In the morning around 9:45 (checkout is 11AM) we get a knock in our door and it’s a worker asking us what time we plan to leave. Confused, my husband said in about an hour (so 10:45). He asked if we could just leave now so they could clean the room. What? We said no bc we still had people who had to shower. He asked if we’d be willling to pack up our stuff and go to another room to finish getting We said no bc we were in the middle of getting ready already. -At checkout, I asked for my deposit back & he asked if I “really wanted it back” What? Yes, I do. -Oh and as we were packing out car to leave, the cleaning guy tried to come in. While we were still in the room with door open actively packing. -Horrible experience

Nice location if going to a show at the Kia forum or SoFi stadium.

Right in the middle of Inglewood and not the safe part .

Do not recommend anyone staying here, especially if you're female or have kids. It's not a safe area.

Close to the trains and buses, very convenient location.

Would stay here again! Great location for Metro, a McDonald's near by for food, and overall a chill and cute motel. Luggage storage provided, which gave me more time to go exploring and visit Manhattan Beach before heading home. Front desk was kind and helpful. Only thing is I wish they had is do not disturb signs, otherwise everything was lovely!

The Trend is a nice property. The staff are great. The area is close to the airport and several shopping & dinning options. My room had 2 HUGE beds! They room itself was pretty large! My complaint was the water temperature in the shower was low. And the room needed a thorough cleaning! Rooms were nice tho. Would return & recommend!

Main bonus for me as a solo traveller is the friendly welcome. But room was great. Shower powerful. Bed comfortable. Had everything I needed. And fast food restaurants close by. And the room was quiet despite being close to the road.
