My cabin is located in the heart of Mountain Home Arkansas, although it is in the city it has a country feel due to the very large yard. The cabin is great for business travelers and families on vacation. Many of our guest are coming to vis...

Located in Mountain Home, this cabin is in the city center and in the mountains. Norfork Dam and Jacob Wolf House are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Bull Shoals-White River State Park and Hickory Park. Jet skiing and kayaking offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cave exploring and hiking nearby.

The woodwork made the place feel special and it was very clean. Close to town with a beautiful expansive yard. I would have been concerned to have a child or toddler in the loft area.

The cabin was wonderful. So much work gone into the decor. I like the fact that you were close to everything in town but when you sat on the porches or back room, you felt like you were out in the woods. It was furnished with everything we needed. It was a good time. I would stay again, but I will say it needs at least one comfortable chair. The seating was beautifully made, but not very comfortable. That wasn’t a big deal but just wanted to mention that thank you so much for your hospitality.

Beautiful cabin with gorgeous woodwork and stonework. One screened in porch and an upstairs outside patio. There is also a small firepit out back. The kitchen was well stocked with all appliances and everything needed for onsite cooking.The mattresses and linens were very nice also. There are neighbors nearby, but when we saw them they were very friendly. This is a great place to relax and have fun. setting

Very unique and cozy. If the weather wasn't so hot, we would have enjoyed the outdoors more. The beds were firm but comfortable. Definitely enjoyed the experience! Thank you!Just an extra note: There were a few spiders who were uninvited guests!

We absolutely loved this place. I am quite particular about cleanliness and a comfy bed and this far exceeded my expectations. This place is unique, well made, peaceful, well-equipped and extremely comfortable. My husband and I slept in the upstairs loft (very large bedroom with a half-bath). There are four sunlight windows in the roof. I found it absolutely wonderful to wake up in that extremely comfortable bed with the sunlight shining in. Temps were easy to adjust for comfort in the whole place. We enjoyed sitting on the porches watching birds and squirrels, enjoying the peace and quiet. The location was great as it was close to downtown and other conveniences but you would never know it. I walked the mile to downtown and to Walgreens. Easy. We loved this place so much and of all the VRBOs we've stayed at, and there have been many, this was one of the best ever. We'll likely be coming back to the area and will definitely be looking for this accommodation when we do. Host was very responsive and provided a great deal of needed information for the stay. It was an incredible visit.

We just loved our cabin!! Sooooo clean and all the supplies provided were 100%! We also enjoyed pur privacy and not sure how they did it but we had a beautiful cardinal singing to us when we arrived and everyday!! Lol !! would definitely recommend this rental

The house had a unique charm with the original rock wall and beautiful woodwork throughout. It was clean, modern and comfortable. My adult son and I stayed there for six days in September on our fishing trip.

This is a great property located in Mountain Home, AR. Even though you are in the city, it feels like you are out in the country. The cabin is awesome since it was built over a rock shed. There is plenty of room inside the cabin, and all appliances and fixtures are modern and updated. The cabin was very clean and the kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans, and etc. We have family in Mountain Home, and will definitely be staying here in the future when we return. The hosts are very responsive when we had a question. We did not have any issues while staying at the cabin. The entire process was quick and easy. The only suggestion I can think of is maybe add a small TV downstairs in the sitting area as the only TV in the cabin is upstairs in the bedroom loft. Great place to stay!!!!

Overall this was a very nice place to stay. It was small and cozy. The bed was clean and comfortable and it was actually nice to finally get a pillow that wasn't too full. There were also dimmer lights throughout so you could reduce the brightness should you want to leave a little light on in the eveningWe had a couple of issues that when we contacted the host, she got back to us promptly. Thank you!! I put 4 stars on cleanliness only bc I felt the outside (and some of the inside) wasn't as tidy as i would have liked. By no means was it dirty. Some cobwebs throughout and dust on the end tables and the floors appeared to need a good mopping. Like it just needed a thorough wipe down. This would not keep me from renting it again if i am in the area. Just a personal preference.

I loved the cabin! It was perfect for my reunion with family. The reasons i didn't give it a 5 star were that the furniture was not very comfortable, there was no oven and the microwave was not easily accessible as it was above the refrigerator. Otherwise, it was a wonderful place for a relaxing weekend.

This property was wonderful for our trip to see family in Mountain Home! The interior was stunning and clearly created by a master woodworker, with much attention to details. The home was clean, accessible to the college, parks, and restaurants. You are in town, but you feel like you are in the country. We will definitely stay again when visiting our relatives.

Incredible. In town but you would never know it. Very quiet inside. Not a piece of drywall in the cabin. All White Oak, Cedar, and natural stone. Great interior lighting, and every detail was taken care of. Beautiful kitchen, baths, and comfy king size bed. Hosts were super nice and were available to answer questions. The squirrels were entertaining.

Our stay was very pleasant and convenient. Mountain Home has a variety of places to eat out and the cabin was equiped for eating in and entertaining on a small scale. Beautiful cozy cabin. Nicely secluded from the main road. Beautiful scenery! Our cabin owners were very helpful and informative. I would stay here again in a heart beat!!

This is a great property located in Mountain Home, AR. Even though you are in the city, it feels like you are out in the country. The cabin is awesome since it was built over a rock shed. There is plenty of room inside the cabin, and all appliances and fixtures are modern and updated. The cabin was very clean and the kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans, and etc. We have family in Mountain Home, and will definitely be staying here in the future when we return. The hosts are very responsive when we had a question. We did not have any issues while staying at the cabin. The entire process was quick and easy. The only suggestion I can think of is maybe add a small TV downstairs in the sitting area as the only TV in the cabin is upstairs in the bedroom loft. Great place to stay!!!!

Overall this was a very nice place to stay. It was small and cozy. The bed was clean and comfortable and it was actually nice to finally get a pillow that wasn't too full. There were also dimmer lights throughout so you could reduce the brightness should you want to leave a little light on in the eveningWe had a couple of issues that when we contacted the host, she got back to us promptly. Thank you!! I put 4 stars on cleanliness only bc I felt the outside (and some of the inside) wasn't as tidy as i would have liked. By no means was it dirty. Some cobwebs throughout and dust on the end tables and the floors appeared to need a good mopping. Like it just needed a thorough wipe down. This would not keep me from renting it again if i am in the area. Just a personal preference.

We absolutely loved this place. I am quite particular about cleanliness and a comfy bed and this far exceeded my expectations. This place is unique, well made, peaceful, well-equipped and extremely comfortable. My husband and I slept in the upstairs loft (very large bedroom with a half-bath). There are four sunlight windows in the roof. I found it absolutely wonderful to wake up in that extremely comfortable bed with the sunlight shining in. Temps were easy to adjust for comfort in the whole place. We enjoyed sitting on the porches watching birds and squirrels, enjoying the peace and quiet. The location was great as it was close to downtown and other conveniences but you would never know it. I walked the mile to downtown and to Walgreens. Easy. We loved this place so much and of all the VRBOs we've stayed at, and there have been many, this was one of the best ever. We'll likely be coming back to the area and will definitely be looking for this accommodation when we do. Host was very responsive and provided a great deal of needed information for the stay. It was an incredible visit.

It is a beautiful, relaxing place to be with family or to just unwind. Kitchen was stocked with everything, lots of towels, very comfortable bed. My mom and aunt live close by there and they had no idea this place was even there. It was like no one was even around, but you are close by to places. I would recommend this place to people. I would come again. Two thumbs up 👍👍

The cabin was wonderful. So much work gone into the decor. I like the fact that you were close to everything in town but when you sat on the porches or back room, you felt like you were out in the woods. It was furnished with everything we needed. It was a good time. I would stay again, but I will say it needs at least one comfortable chair. The seating was beautifully made, but not very comfortable. That wasn’t a big deal but just wanted to mention that thank you so much for your hospitality.

Our stay was very pleasant and convenient. Mountain Home has a variety of places to eat out and the cabin was equiped for eating in and entertaining on a small scale. Beautiful cozy cabin. Nicely secluded from the main road. Beautiful scenery! Our cabin owners were very helpful and informative. I would stay here again in a heart beat!!

Beautiful cabin with gorgeous woodwork and stonework. One screened in porch and an upstairs outside patio. There is also a small firepit out back. The kitchen was well stocked with all appliances and everything needed for onsite cooking.The mattresses and linens were very nice also. When pulling up, I wasn’t convinced that it would be very quiet or private to be honest. The way it’s set up, once you are in the cabin, it’s like a transformation. You don’t hear any cars. All you see is grass and trees. From the front it seems like other houses are quite close..but you’d never know it. It was so peaceful. It’s like this hidden gem of a secret garden that you’d never know exists. I am 100% staying here for my next trip. I know it’s a weird thing to say but the water pressure was amazing. Cabins a lot of times have crappy pressure. This place was better pressure than back home! Makes for a lovely shower! Even a washer dryer to use if needed. The kitchen did not have an oven. The microwave was on top of the refrigerator, had to use a step ladder to use it. The property outside is lovely. The screened porch needed cleaning, dusty and cobwebs. The balcony upstairs was the same. The primary bedroom is upstairs, again lovely, but there is only a half bath there. Trekking downstairs to use the shower and dress from your clothes upstairs is inconvenient. The sofa is “ built in” with 4” cushions on top, functional but not comfortable. There are two wooden tables, but not any upholstered furniture for relaxing. We spent our time sitting outside in “bag chairs”. We left a day early. This property has much personality with the wood and stone, but it was not for us.

Such a beautiful cabin with everything you’ll need for a relaxing stay. Upstairs loft bedroom is spacious, kitchen very well stocked, great screen room to sit out and bird watch and a sun room filled with windows that provides a setting for a great cup of coffee and conversation. Honestly, can’t think of anything that needed improvement. Easy walk to the town square too! Will stay again on our next visit to Mountain Home.
