Tom & Maureen are excellent hosts and we left wanting to stay longer at this B&B. The house is beautiful and there are plenty of amenities including a variety of snacks, sangria, a coffee machine, and board games, to name a few. We were only able to enjoy the breakfast on our last morning there, but the food was amazing, fresh, and clearly made with love. I can't recommend this place enough and I hope to be able to stay here again sometime in the near future.
Tom & Maureen are excellent hosts and we left wanting to stay longer at this B&B. The house is beautiful and there are plenty of amenities including a variety of snacks, sangria, a coffee machine, and board games, to name a few. Enjoyable stay. Very easy to come and go during the day, owners helpful with places to see and eat. room was clean and neat. Liked that we had a tv. Good central location for seeing area. Liked having the dining room stocked with coffee, snacks, drinks. And enjoyed the great breakfasts.

Charming cozy home full of antique furniture and related decor. Comfortable sofas for reading and relaxing. We were greeted by Tom who gave us a tour of the home stocked with every thing a traveler would need (24/7 drinks and snacks, etc). Chocolate banana scones! Full breakfast in the am. If you are looking for something different than a modern hotel room consider this,

Maureen and Tom fantastic hosts, loved the retro rooms and themes. Easy access to things. Wine available when we arrived as well as access to many options of snacks. Loved their low key dogs.

We felt very welcome at this lovely bed & breakfast. The breakfast was delicious, the coffee variety is out of this world. A lot of little thoughtful details in the room and the common room. Overall wonderful experience; will definitely stay again.

This was our second time staying. Great place to relax. Breakfast is always fresh and fulfilling. The coffee Station was one of the best, much better than some higher-end places I have stayed at.

Tom and Maureen were the best hosts and we really enjoyed talking with both of them! Their place is so tastefully decorated and comfortable! When we arrived Tom showed us around and told us to help ourselves to anything in the dining area including a wide assortment of coffee, tea and snacks in addition to wine. Maureen had baked some organic apple butter scones that we couldn’t pass up and they were delicious and moist! We had never been to this area before so we drove around and went to Knob Overlook which had incredible views! The bed was comfortable as well! There are some outdoor areas to sit which I enjoyed in the morning while drinking my coffee but the breakfast was the most amazingly delicious gourmet breakfast we have ever had at a B&B! Fresh fruit was on the table to enjoy and it started with a caramelized baked apple with nuts and raisins and then a mango coconut strudel and both were so delicious! Tom then brought out the main dish which was over the top! I am not remembering the name of the egg dish since it was unique and gourmet with spinach, chèvre and was topped with cheddar and a balsamic glaze. It was served with fresh local bacon and rosemary roasted potatoes. We savored every bite! We would definitely come back!

It is beyond imagination. This was the best bed and breakfast I’ve ever stayed at. The owners were outstanding, cordial and accountable to their residents. The meticulous of the residence was amazing. I cannot wait to return here in the fall. A hidden gem in Mt. Pocono.

Had a lovely stay at Maurrocks B&B. The hosts have thought of everything we could have needed for our stay, and then some! We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast, with homemade scones and other pastries, a variety of delicious coffees and teas, and a well stocked fridge for consumption. The candy dishes all over the house were a tempting indulgence, and they were honestly the best scones we have ever had! My only negative reviews are that the snow was not cleared fully on the front, walk and steps, making it difficult to navigate with suitcases. Also, the bed in our room was not attached to the rickety headboard, and it did not seem sturdy at all. Other than that, the hosts were very lovely, and we enjoyed meeting their dogs!

There was nothing unique in this property. This is not what I signed up for. I really thought I was getting a room in a hotel with breakfast. It’s a private house renting rooms. There was dead rats in the courtyard next to the stairway. Dogs barking on the premises in the night. I booked for a Queen sized bed but that was more like a full size bed. The owner told me that the room which I booked was under renovation and he put us in an alternative room. I stayed the night and left early next morning. I told him I didn’t like the accommodation and that’s not what I booked for. I requesting my money for 2 nights back.

We stayed with Maureen and Tom for two nights last week to do some hiking in the area. Their B&B is very comfortable. Maureen and Tom are both helpful and gracious hosts. They are both EXCELLENT cooks! Their breakfast was off the charts!! Their dogs are well behaved and friendly. Absolutely no issues with having them around. We enjoyed petting them and getting to know them. We'll be back! Thank you Maureen & Tom.

Tom's gourmet, multi course breakfast was outstanding and there was no shortage of snack and nourishment options. Lastly, the friendly visits of their 3 mannered rescue dogs, each with distinct personalities, was an added bonus.

We quite randomly stumbled on Tom & Maureen’s B&B whilst transiting between Niagara Falls and NYC - and well did we get lucky here. The B&B is absolutely perfect in every aspect - beautiful surroundings, quaint interior with superb attention to detail to accommodate the guests and a super comfortable bed! But the 4-course gourmet breakfast had to be the highlight - amazing - we didn’t need to eat for the rest of the day! Oh yes, and the 3 beautiful rescue dogs that came to say hello and make us welcome too! I can’t recommend this place and the hosts highly enough!

Maureen and Tom was an awesome hosts and the place was so quaint and lovely. We loved the hospitality and the breakfast was fabulous! We would highly recommend this place. The bed was so comfortable too!

Tom and Maureen were excellent hosts. We had great conversations about travel and music and local history. The breakfasts were gourmet. They went out of their way to accommodate some dietary needs. The room was comfortable and well supplied. It was the best bed and breakfast we have stayed in. We will definitely return in the future.

Tom and Maureen are salt of the earth. The most gracious hosts that treat you like family. Clean and cozy quarters with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The breakfasts were prepared to perfection. Between Tom’s cooking skills and Maureen’s baking, you are in for a treat. Their “co-host” dogs are all well behaved and very gentle. Highly recommended this B&B. Thank you Tom and Maureen- we’ll be back!

We were greeted warmly by the owner. He offered information about the area, catered to our interests. We enjoyed a glass of wine over an outdoor firepit, and then returned inside to another indoor fire on a cool fall evening. They showed us around our room and told us about the area. Offered restaurant and attractions in the area. We will 💯 return if the occasion presents itself.

Tom and Maureen are super friendly and helpful, know the area very well and provide an awesome breakfast! The Red room, our room, fulfilled all our needs. We had an awesome stay at Maurrocks Bed & Breakfast! Thank you!

This place offers even better service than a regular hotel. What a great hospitality. Breakfast so delicious; tea and coffee all the time, plus free snacks. Very close to the main tourists attractions in Poconos and Water Parks.

Highly recommend this B&B. The house was very cute and comfortable. There were free snacks, wine, and an amazing breakfast. The hosts are very nice and friendly. The location is also very convenient.

Enjoyable stay. Very easy to come and go during the day, owners helpful with places to see and eat. room was clean and neat. Liked that we had a tv. Good central location for seeing area. Liked having the dining room stocked with coffee, snacks, drinks. And enjoyed the great breakfasts.

Maureen and Tom fantastic hosts, loved the retro rooms and themes. Easy access to things. Wine available when we arrived as well as access to many options of snacks. Loved their low key dogs.

Tom & Maureen are excellent hosts and we left wanting to stay longer at this B&B. The house is beautiful and there are plenty of amenities including a variety of snacks, sangria, a coffee machine, and board games, to name a few. We were only able to enjoy the breakfast on our last morning there, but the food was amazing, fresh, and clearly made with love. I can't recommend this place enough and I hope to be able to stay here again sometime in the near future.

Tom and Maureen were excellent hosts; warm, personable and engaging. Our room and accommodations were quite nice. Tom's gourmet, multi course breakfast was outstanding and there was no shortage of snack and nourishment options. Lastly, the friendly visits of their 3 mannered rescue dogs, each with distinct personalities, was an added bonus.

We quite randomly stumbled on Tom & Maureen’s B&B whilst transiting between Niagara Falls and NYC - and well did we get lucky here. The B&B is absolutely perfect in every aspect - beautiful surroundings, quaint interior with superb attention to detail to accommodate the guests and a super comfortable bed! But the 4-course gourmet breakfast had to be the highlight - amazing - we didn’t need to eat for the rest of the day! Oh yes, and the 3 beautiful rescue dogs that came to say hello and make us welcome too! I can’t recommend this place and the hosts highly enough!

We felt very welcome at this lovely bed & breakfast. The breakfast was delicious, the coffee variety is out of this world. A lot of little thoughtful details in the room and the common room. Overall wonderful experience; will definitely stay again.

Maureen and Tom were awesome hosts. Loved the home and their dogs. The breakfast was so delicious and home made. Maureen made a delicious blueberry/goat cheese danish and Tom a wonderful vegi frittata with smoked bacon and roasted rosemary garlic potatoes. You'll love this place!

Tom and Maureen were the best hosts and we really enjoyed talking with both of them! Their place is so tastefully decorated and comfortable! When we arrived Tom showed us around and told us to help ourselves to anything in the dining area including a wide assortment of coffee, tea and snacks in addition to wine. Maureen had baked some organic apple butter scones that we couldn’t pass up and they were delicious and moist! We had never been to this area before so we drove around and went to Knob Overlook which had incredible views! The bed was comfortable as well! There are some outdoor areas to sit which I enjoyed in the morning while drinking my coffee but the breakfast was the most amazingly delicious gourmet breakfast we have ever had at a B&B! Fresh fruit was on the table to enjoy and it started with a caramelized baked apple with nuts and raisins and then a mango coconut strudel and both were so delicious! Tom then brought out the main dish which was over the top! I am not remembering the name of the egg dish since it was unique and gourmet with spinach, chèvre and was topped with cheddar and a balsamic glaze. It was served with fresh local bacon and rosemary roasted potatoes. We savored every bite! We would definitely come back!

Everything was spectacular. We had a wonderful time. Homemade breakfast every morning. Beautiful bedroom, with a comfy bed. Tom and Maureen truly care about their guests. We had a memorable and wonderful time.

It was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast and we were not disappointed and definitely plan to do it again after this fantastic experience! Our hosts were very friendly and personable and so were their dogs! Overall it was a great weekend getaway for a couple!

Had a lovely stay at Maurrocks B&B. The hosts have thought of everything we could have needed for our stay, and then some! We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast, with homemade scones and other pastries, a variety of delicious coffees and teas, and a well stocked fridge for consumption. The candy dishes all over the house were a tempting indulgence, and they were honestly the best scones we have ever had! My only negative reviews are that the snow was not cleared fully on the front, walk and steps, making it difficult to navigate with suitcases. Also, the bed in our room was not attached to the rickety headboard, and it did not seem sturdy at all. Other than that, the hosts were very lovely, and we enjoyed meeting their dogs!
