Nice Clean room and the staff was awesome

We left our room at 10am. Put up the do not disturb so as not to have housekeeping come in. Returned at 2am to find our door OPEN! Housekeeping had been in and never shut our door. It was a packed hotel. I felt super uncomfortable about who had been in my room. Talked to the night clerk who made a note. Asked both other mornings of our stay to speak to the manager. No one was available. Asked to have the manager call me on Monday that also never happened. I have never had this kind of an experience anywhere.

We were in Huntsville for a one night stay. Rates were unusually high at the hotel where we normally stay. Upon our arrival we smelled marijuana in the parking lot. We would smell this on other occasions including inside the hotel. The girl at check-in seemed disengaged and uninterested. She was polite though and quickly got us on our way to our room. I try turning on the television as soon as I got in the room because it was football Saturday. After several attempts, I called the front desk and the manager on duty came to the room. She chose to move us to another room which was fine with us. As soon as we entered the next room we could hear the toilet running and making a high pitched sound. She decided to try yet another room. Third time was a charm. We checked the television and everything seemed to be working well. When we returned later in the evening we wanted to watch Netflix. Not so fast. The function on the television to access streaming apps was not working. We decided to turn the television off and go to bed. Speaking of the bed, we had an excellent night’s sleep. The room was spotless. The shower had plenty of pressure and hot water. We didn’t utilize the “complimentary” breakfast. The manager once again apologized when we checked out.

Staff were friendly and the room was clean.

Good job but ..Ice maker was leaking water around the machine. And...when we went to our room the door lock was loose. The worker promptly got us another room. Said "no maintenance on hand".
