This is our 3rd stay here. Everyone is polite, courteous and professional. Rooms and bath are always clean. Nice gym equipment and clean pool. We will continue to use this hotel each time we visit Gainesville.

Hotel is great, however we drive an EV. All 3 EV stations were blocked with non EVs. As a guest dependent on those charging spots, please find a way to either enforce the parking or move the EV parking spots to the back of the lot. Also, both handicapped spots had non-handicapped vehicles in them. Very disappointing considering that there were plenty of parking spaces available.

The EV chargers are advertised as working. Call Monday night in anticipation for Wednesday reservation and was told all EV chargers were working. Arrived Weds and only 1 of 3 chargers working. Had 2 rooms and 2 EV cars to charge. Female Manager very rude, would not make any adjustment to bill as she kept saying it was an amenity that was not charged for. Explained that this hotel was picked because of EV chargers and if we knew they weren't working, we would have changed to a different hotel that could accommodate our 2 EV car needs. She still rude, dismissive, and would not adjust bill.

I booked the room there because I needed a shuttle to the airport after I get there I find out the shuttle doesn’t run until 8am and my flight was at 6 am so that was not good news. They need to post the hours that the shuttle is running

I traveled to the area to take a friend to Shands for surgery. The hotel is close to the hospital. I did not get to use the outside pool but the kids I heard seemed to enjoy it.

Clumps of dirt in the hallways and on the floor in front of the elevators, was left there overnight with only a "caution wet floor" sign next to each spot with dirt. Could have been easily taken care of with a broom and dust pan in 5 minutes but none of the 6 staff members I saw throughout my one-night stay bothered to do it. Breakfast was only 3 hours, ended at 9am, and one of the containers of Mini Wheats available was opened. Weird stain on the bathroom floor under the sink, looked moldy. Staff member that checked me in didn't tell me where the elevators were or how to get to my room. When I walked back to my hotel room after dinner, a guy in a huge white van approached me in the hotel parking lot and asked, "are you by yourself tonight?" I did not feel safe. Neighbors next to me were loud, had to stuff a towel underneath the doorframe to muffle some of the sound. When I checked out and someone who I think was a manager asked me how my stay was, I said "it was okay for just the one night" but all he and the other staff member did was laugh. Will never stay at this hotel again. Was not worth $100+ for the single night.

I stayed here a few weeks ago for my kid’s dorm move-in and was impressed with the comfy bed, spacious room and location close to campus. I chose it again this week. However, even though it appears and feels very clean, This time, I encountered several live cockroaches in the bathroom and one crawling on the wall of the bedroom. Just probably need to do a treatment of bug spray. I did mention it when I checked out. I would still give it another chance for the other positives.

It appeared to be a nice hotel but experienced seeing a bed bug on headboard and when notified staff cane in said it was a sick bug smashed it and was going to move us to another room but when came back was putting us in a room next to that one and said they were trying to contain it basically saying we brought it in. Got into argument by the time I went down to tell them we were leaving she had locked the front doors and was calling the cops on us. I was scheduled for brain surgery the next days and was looking for another hotel at 12:30 am needless to say did not get to bed until around 3:00 am awful experience.

The Wi-Fi on the 5th floor didn’t work the first day. I told the front desk manager and they told me it was my phone. My phone worked fine in the lobby. I told them again the second day, they sent a tech to check it out and sure enough it was broken. As for the free breakfast, they had no forks and I was told to use a spoon. The sausages the first day was under cooked and the second day was hard as a rock.

Large suite-like rooms with a sitting area. Very clean and modern! I stayed with my dog in a pet friendly room on the first floor that had a back door that opened directly into a grassy area to take her to potty. This hotel could not have pleased me more. Would highly recommend!!

The building and suite was modern and quite clean. The king-sized bed was super comfortable. The parking was convenient with easy access to the rooms. The staff was friendly. I enjoyed my stay there and will be back in another month.

Very comfortable hotel and we slept well. Only issue is their tv service and amenities. It said it could connect to a phone to stream tv and that did not work. I look this up prior to booking because it’s a must have for me and the kids. We would have been fine but I felt like I went back 20 years in time having no guide because it just has everything at unavailable so we had to go channel by channel and find something which is not ideal for a $220 night hotel. Also struggled to find where to get water, ice and only found that on the bottom floor. For the price, you can find a hotel that has better features to make it more suitable for a family.

The hotel was very clean and quiet. We had a problem with our door key not working. After trying to reprogram it three times the clerk had to come up with a master key to let us in our room. He promised that maintenance would change the batteries out first thing the following morning. It appeared to be working the next day until we came back very late that evening and were locked out again! It’s a shame that this was not taken care of as it is such an easy fix. We were not a priority and it was very inconvenient to not be able to come and go without getting locked out.

We arrived at the hotel late on Saturday night after Hurricane Helene had blown through the day before. Apparently a transformer blew out and the hotel was running on a generator. They did let us know that there was no air conditioning in the room, but more like it was an afterthought. When asked what we were suuposed to do, the concierge snottily said, "Just go to Walmart and buy a fan". 1) there was no sign ANYWHERE that the AC wasn't working in the rooms. The AC was working just fine in the lobby, though. 2) There was no attempt to contact anyone and let us know so we could have figured something out in advance. 3) there was no apology or recompense offered. Not even a bottle of water, a coupon for a free night in the future, or anything. 4) to suggest at 11pm that I go find a walmart and shop for a box fan is ludicrous!! We happened to luck out that a local CVS was still open and happened to still have a couple fans, but that's not the point. 5) t was cooler outside than in. If the windows opened, we could have at least pit the fan in the window to suck the colder air in If I hadn't prepaid for the hotel room, I would've canceled right then and there and driven the 2 hours back home. As it was, we didn't even bother to stay the 2nd night. I'm never staying there ever again.

Thank you Chris at the reception for the easy and friendly check in and all the recommendations. We felt in home. Rooms were spacious and everything very clean and neat. Four more years for us visiting Gainesville and definitely coming back.

Thank you Chris at the reception for the easy and friendly check in and all the recommendations. We felt in home. Rooms were spacious and everything very clean and neat. Four more years for us visiting Gainesville and definitely coming back.

I paid in advance for a three night stay. This was a two night minimum . After two nights I decided to checkout. It took three attempts with three different employees until I was able to checkout. I have yet to be refunded for the third night. I also paid for this stay on my debit card. Somehow they have now charged my credit card (never provided cc info) a mystery fee. I will now need to contest this through my cc company. The incompetence never ends!

Staff was very nice and accommodating! Have stayed in a few hotels in the Gainesville area and this has been the cleanest one! When bringing my dog for any reason to UF vet hospital, I stay here.

The only negative is that breakfast ended at 9am. That's too early for an 11am checkout time. Other than that the place was excellent. They easily extended our accommodations another day when we had to stay an extra day.

The hotel was good, service excellent, specially after hotels.com did'nt report the change of my reservation to two nigths. Assistant manager call me to report I have to leave because it was only one nigth, fortunately she was so nice and acomodate my reserve paying a higher price. Call hotels.com and no response.

Chris at he front desk welcomed me when I arrived. I was disappointed to find out when I was checking in that the property had already charge my credit card without my knowledge. I called to confirm my reservation and I was not told that my credit card was going to be charged. I booked through Expedia and chose Hotel Collect my reservation was not pre paid. Front desk agent upon arrival didn't know why my credit card was charged not even authorized and the guy upon c/out told me that I prepaid which he was completely wrong. This is the reason I chose to c/o 1 day earlier than expected. I was disappointed because I chose to pay at the property upon arrival not to be told that my cc had already been charged. I arrived about 2 hours after c/i time.

The Wi-Fi on the 5th floor didn’t work the first day. I told the front desk manager and they told me it was my phone. My phone worked fine in the lobby. I told them again the second day, they sent a tech to check it out and sure enough it was broken. As for the free breakfast, they had no forks and I was told to use a spoon. The sausages the first day was under cooked and the second day was hard as a rock.

1 night stay. Hotel was clean. Would probably stay again if in the area. Breakfast was really disappointing. More options would have been nice. Also, there was cheese in everything (cheese grits, eggs with cheese in middle, can biscuit with cheese). It would have been nice to have no cheese options for those people that don’t eat cheese.

The breakfast was rather disappointing...the "eggs" were actually inedible. Oatmeal was about the only thing worth eating. The "orange juice" was the worst and we were in Florida of all places. The rest of the facility was top notch especially for the price.

Overall, we had a good experience with this hotel. The property is very nice and clean, and the staff was friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Unfortunately, on the second night, we discovered several very large army ants in our room. We took pictures and video and immediately went to the front desk. The staff handled the situation professionally and quickly moved us to another room, which we really appreciated. Aside from the issue with the ants, our stay was pleasant. The hotel is well maintained, the staff is helpful and friendly, and we appreciated how quickly they addressed our concern. Hopefully, management will have the room thoroughly inspected and treated so future guests don't experience the same problem.

YIKES! BED BUGS! We have been staying in this hotel for four years when we come to Gainesville and never had any problems. Sunday’s visit was completely different. Upon checking in to our room, we found a large bug on the bed which we captured and brought down to management to show them. They were very alarmed as it was a huge bedbug. They did come up with the staff of three and immediately started tearing the bed apart while we’re wearing gloves, moved us to another room and told us they would take all of our clothing and bags to run a double cycle in a hot dryer and ask us not to put any of our belongings into our reassigned room that took over 2 1/2 hours the manager on duty had left for the day and did not assign our concerns to anyone else we missed our dinner reservation due to this and we were very displeased with the lack of communication and unwillingness to help us in this terrible situation
