The checkin process was fairly easy. Our room was on the third floor. We got to the elevator and it was out of order. Talked to the lady at the desk and she said that was the only elevator. My wife has trouble walking upstairs. We asked if there was any rooms on the first floor and she said no. None on the second floor either. if we would’ve known that before hand, we would’ve either requested a first room floor or made other arrangements. When we got to our room, my wife had to stay up there as much as possible because of the challenges of getting up and down three stories worth of stairs. Also, when we got to the room, the bathroom did not have any shampoo and only one bar of soap. So I had to run downstairs and get more shampoo . Other than that it was a nice room and very clean. Also, there was no mention of any type of breakfast and I did not see any the next morning. I have this hotel reserved again in April for another event. I sure hope the elevator is fixed by that time or I may have to cancel my stay.

Don't assume all hotels offer blow dryers for hair or even shampoo...this one had neither. Elevator broken as well.

I’ve stayed at this location on several occasions. It is clean, the staff is friendly, it has a kitchenette with fridge and freezer, is a good value, and I feel safe in and around this property. My only complaint is that the only elevator was inoperable the last 2 times I stayed here.

Older, outdated property overall. Stained, very used furniture. However, room, bathroom was clean. Towels very white, clean looking. No hairdryer Didn’t use kitchenette but looked clean. Only silverware was a few knives. Hall carpet-filthy! Very nice front desk people. Front sliding door to property didn’t work-had to push it open. Would not want to stay here again but ok in a pinch. Price for stay was wayyyy too high.

The floor was unswept (no carpet) and the table still had several areas of something like sticky jelly left on it. The toilet had black stains in it (just looked old), the towel to stand on after a shower had black/gray on it as if it hadn’t been bleached. A hair on the sink and also on the bathroom floor, although we could tell it had been wiped down. It was super late (12:00am) when we arrived so we slept with our clothes on, didn’t touch much, and left at around 5:30am.

The best thing about this property are the rates; however, that then goes into, “you get what you pay for.” Overall, I am a very patient person, so I’ve given this property a try a few times and was only truly comfortable once—and I don’t want to have to HOPE I’ll get a good room each time I book. The carpet in the hallways is gross. The rooms are not fully cleaned (hair in/on sink, in tubs). I once had to switch rooms due to blood being on the sheets. A nasty, used face towel was left on a hanger in a room once. In this same room, the microwave was gross and dirty. Also, each time, I felt the need to full sanitize the rooms with Lysol and disinfectant. In summation, it’s worth paying a little more at a better quality property for a peace of mind.

If I could rate this hotel a 0 star I would. I have no idea how it is rated as good as it is. Walked in, smelt like wacky tobbacy, went up to room carpets in hall way filthy, not vacuumed, full of stains. Got into room, our room stunk, had stains all over the walls and blinds. Had gum stuck to wall up high. Night stand was broken and handing off wall, sheets had stains. All in all just gross. Checked in at 11 at night and left by 11:30 to find another place. Highly not recommend.

This place is updated and amazingly clean. The beds are comfortable. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. The area is safe. I would give it 5 stars except that the first floor is loud if there is someone above you stomping around or noise in rooms next door. I was woken up pretty early by that. Also the window opens right up to the parking lot on the ground floor so for privacy, the shade needs to be down at all times. Try to get a room on the upper floor! Also they only provide soap so bring your other toiletries including a hair dryer. The kitchenette area is well equipped although I didn’t use it. I would definitely stay here again! You can’t beat the price.

It was good for the price, for a few day stay. The bed wasn’t very comfortable and the odd-numbered rooms were on the side closest to the highway so there was a lot of traffic noise most of the time. The room did have a kitchenette and basic amenities, though the bathroom only offered soap, no shampoo.

Good: The room design eliminating extras made it easy to keep clean. Bed was comfortable. Bad: The heavy doors seemed designed to slam shut. Even if a person wanted to be considerate (pretty rare nowadays) it was almost impossible to close quietly. Really loud slams.This would prevent me from staying there again.

It was a decent room. All prices for all rooms in town were jacked up due to the ballgame (not why we stayed). Bed was very uncomfortable but otherwise, the air conditioning was GREAT and it was decently clean.

This was the best motel 6 I’ve ever stayed at. My room was huge and clean. The kitchenette was fully stocked with dishes and cutlery. I found the bed comfortable. There is some highway noise but that doesn’t bother me. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Great value for money!

The room was very clean! The staff was very friendly and check in was super quick. Our only complaints would be that the pillows were very small and flat. There was a lot of highway traffic noise throughout the night.

The room itself was fine for one night as it was very clean and spacious with a nice kitchenette though I only used the fridge. My main complaint is that it was very noisy with room doors being slammed all the time and that noise did reverberate into my room. Also, the stairways and corridors were rather dirty which more than likely were due to laborers who live there. It may be fine for a few nights but I’d stay someplace else past that.

Room had a weird smell. Couldn’t open door and had to get the front desk agent. He had to open the door with his shoulder like the police. TV cam on but could not change the channels to watch anything. The curtain over the air conditioner had a discolored water stain.

I had several forms of confirmation proof of my reservation that had been made over 2 month prior, and which was prepaid. When I arrived, the hotel said they had no record of a reservation for me and blamed Expedia for overbooking rooms. I have used Expedia countless times, and have never had this issue. They said there was nothing they could do, and they had no rooms available. Therefore, I had to make the long, late drive home.

The rooms and hallways were cleanish. Not bad not great. My issue was with the service. My card demagnetized and no one was available at the front desk to help. So, after working a 12 hour night shift, I had to spend 2 1/2 hours waiting for someone to help me.

Problems at check in so I had to pay again even though I had proof of payment with Hotels.com. She said my card was declined with you all when I didn’t even use a card as payment. Took nearly 45 minutes and twice the pay from initially checking in to getting in the room. Room hot when arrived. Air conditioner was partially unplugged. Then the room cooled off , but got incredibly hot during the night. The floors were moist with the heat.

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was quite unpleasant. Upon arrival, the front desk staff was distracted, chatting on the phone during check-in, which felt unprofessional and unwelcoming. We were assigned a room in a hallway where the neighboring guests were extremely loud late into the night. Their behavior was inappropriate, and the noise level—specifically loud, explicit sounds—made both me and my stepdaughter very uncomfortable. While I understand this isn’t a luxury or specifically family-oriented hotel, basic decency and noise control should still be expected. I’m honestly surprised no one else complained, as the noise could be heard far down the hall. When I brought this up to staff in the morning, they seemed indifferent and acted like they had no idea what had happened. Once again, they were on their phones and not paying attention, which added to my frustration. Overall, I won’t be returning unless I have no other option. I can overlook the fact that this isn’t a high-end hotel, but I can’t overlook a lack of professionalism, poor customer service, and a disregard for guest comfort.

When I arrived, I had to wait for 45 minutes for front desk to call Expedia because they would not release the funds to the Motel. The clerk demanded to be paid again for the room and to call Expedia at a later time. Expedia will not refund the charge. Room price paid on-site was much cheaper than Expedia pricing I paid. Very unhappy for being out this money. Expedia nor Motel 6 will take responsibility for this mistake. I want my money back now!!!!

Im not reviewing the property because I couldnt even stay their evwn though I'd had reaervations for 2 weeks. The 1 star is EXPEDIA'S fault. We drove 4 hours and when we arrived, there was no room available and no reservation in my name. I showed her my confirmation. She asked me if I booked with Expedia and I told her I did. She apologized profusely and said that we were the 10th persons they had to turn away because Expedia overrides their (the hotel) booking system and books rooms that arent available. We had to sit in the parking lot and call around to see if their were any available rooms in town. Of course LSU was playing at home and there was a huge concert in town. The only available rooms were almost $700 a night. I will NEVER book anything through Expedia again.

This was a last minute booking and it was actually a good experience. The area is quiet and there was plenty of parking. We were located on back side of hotel and the parking and entrance are very convenient. There is a covered patio area with seating and several BBQ pits available. The thing I didn’t like is that our room was located right next to the back entrance and that door is not locked so anyone can just walk in. The room was simple yet served its purpose. The walls and doors could use a little bit of elbow grease to help keep it clean. I would stay again if I have another last minute trip to visit my Tiger at LSU.

Very good hotel. We were here for a movie shoot and there were about 12 of us here. We were all very happy with our room. The staff is very nice and helpful. Nice and clean hotel with free parking. Pet friendly. LSU stadium and downtown is just over the bridge. Will be back

The checkin process was fairly easy. Our room was on the third floor. We got to the elevator and it was out of order. Talked to the lady at the desk and she said that was the only elevator. My wife has trouble walking upstairs. We asked if there was any rooms on the first floor and she said no. None on the second floor either. if we would’ve known that before hand, we would’ve either requested a first room floor or made other arrangements. When we got to our room, my wife had to stay up there as much as possible because of the challenges of getting up and down three stories worth of stairs. Also, when we got to the room, the bathroom did not have any shampoo and only one bar of soap. So I had to run downstairs and get more shampoo . Other than that it was a nice room and very clean. Also, there was no mention of any type of breakfast and I did not see any the next morning. I have this hotel reserved again in April for another event. I sure hope the elevator is fixed by that time or I may have to cancel my stay.

The room and towels were clean. I loved having a well stocked kitchenette. It is a nice option to have everything I need to cook and eat in the room. Having plates and utensils for the guests, as well as pots and pans is a plus. I’ve stayed here a few times, and have had a good experience each time.

Appreciated fridge, microwave, coffee maker, real dishes, washers, dryers. Hair dryer was available at the frint desk. the tv would not go to live tv when turned on. Anytime we wanted to watch, we had press the button input on back several times until we got to HDMI 3. The desk did it for us the first tme. We could have been provided dish soap.

This was the best motel 6 I’ve ever stayed at. My room was huge and clean. The kitchenette was fully stocked with dishes and cutlery. I found the bed comfortable. There is some highway noise but that doesn’t bother me. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Great value for money!

Visible dirt and crumbs. I didn't even shower. Bed had no support, headboard coming off the wall. Sheets and towels old and very dingy.

The room was fairly decent even tho they put me in a handicap room. I been staying at this hotel since last October and the rooms are always dirty. I have to sweep and mop my room every time I stay there, the blinds are broke and will not roll up on some rooms, every microwave has heavy rust on the doors as soon as u open them up. The refrigerator is never cleaned, old food and crumbs always in there. Every single towel in that hotel has hair on them from somebody else and stains. All the pillow cases have stains on them, all the sheets have hairs all over them. I always bring my own blankets and pillow because of it. I only stay here because I currently am not getting perdiem so I do what I have to do. A lot of this stuff could be fixed fairly easy but they choose not to spend the money. This time I stayed I went in early in the day to reserve my room because I rather stay on the 2nd floor. They told me I was good then when I get off of work at 7 pm they give me a 3rd story room with the elevator out of order. The halls stink, the carpets are heavily stained and looks like they have never been cleaned. I could go on and on. I do not understand how they get a 8.0 rating on hotels. Com. The irons always have burned clothing on them, half the parking lot floods because of poor draining so if it rains the night before and u part in that area then better hope u have water proof boots and put your pant legs in ur boots. The staff is nice but not willing to help u at all with anyt.
