Holiday Inn Express Tallahassee-University Central by IHG

Location was a little hard getting in and out of but the staff was super nice and helpful breakfast was tasty and the gym was a plus

It was clean, quick check in

Good location. They put us in a handicapped room at first which was in disrepair with peeling paint in the bathroom. They moved us to a 2 queen room (even though we had paid extra for the king) and the first room wasn’t made up. The 3rd time was the charm and we had a good stay from there. They didn’t act happy that we had booked through Hotels.com and I believe that is why they gave us a substandard room.

There was a petrified orange peel left on age chair in the room, makes you wonder how throughly everything is cleaned?

Air did not work in our room, room was half cleaned lobby floor was dirty. Parking was good with no issues -just minutes from doak. If going for short trip fine to stay
