The gate near the back was broken so folks could easily come onto the property other than that I loved It. The apartment was the cutest! I will definitely rent again.

Very spacious and quiet. Loved having secure gated parking and the unit was modern and clean. The only downsides were small water heater made us coordinate laundry and baths and the dishwasher was broken with the front cover removed. Apparently it's been that way for some time too.

Highly recommend this place! So spacious, so COMFORTABLE. And honestly it was gorgeous, not to mention it has a gated parking lot so your vehicle is safe on premise.

nicely laid out and a good size. Minor issues, only 3 hangers, one closet did open as the door was scaping the floor and hard to open. No lighting in the parking lot, very dark. We had to deal with loud music one night into the early hours and a very strong odor of marjuana that seeped into our apartment, even though it was suposed to be a smoke free building.

No lighting in the parking lot, side security gate was broken, bathroom door doesn't lock, horrible parking,this was my second time staying there. needs a little upgrading,no TV in bedroom probably won't be staying there in the future anymore I can say easy access to super dome

Very cute! Love that gated parking is an option, but I would be fine with parking my car on the street since it isn’t a bad neighborhood compared to other parts of New Orleans. They forgot to inform us that they were testing fire alarms on 9/1, and me and my boyfriend grabbed all our stuff and ran out the building, just for the alarm to stop not long after, and to then receive a text that it was practice. That was pretty annoying, but I assume it’s something they do at the first of every month? Other than that, it was a very nice place to stay with a gym that had the essentials, and the room had all the appliances you could ever ask for.

Excellent place for medium stay. Kitchen reasonably well equipped. The surrounding area does not feel very safe at night, not really a place that you can walk out for a meal at night. If you have a car it is great because the building is secured.

Huge wow factor when you come in. It’s a recently converted 130 year old school with high ceilings and beautiful rooms. Fully outfitted to cook your own meals. A three minute walk to the Canal Streetcar. Came with a family of four. Gated for additional safety. Free parking onsite. Gym downstairs is two treadmills and a bunch of barbells and some benches - all you need. 100% would stay here any time we are in the city, especially if staying for a week or more.

TV didn’t work, thermostat haywire (switches back to a default temperature - complicated to operate.). No pool so can’t go swimming. Great amenities like full size frigerator, pots & pans, record player, clean, quiet.

Definitely pay extra for parking, the area is sketchy to say the least. However, the property does offer many points of secure entry so it wasn’t a total deal breaker. Upon check in to the room we were greeted with exposed wiring coming from some sort of appliance in the kitchen. I immediately took a photo and sent it to the messaging service. The same messaging service that literal seconds ago just confirmed we checked in and to reach out with any issues. No response. The room itself was spacious and cute. There is no tv in the bed room section so be mindful if you’re someone who needs a tv to fall asleep. There was an interesting room above the bathroom with a light switch and a light on but no way to get up there or see if anything was up there. Made us a little nervous the whole time. Then there was a cleanliness issue, stuff was smeared all over the bathroom door/wall, in the kitchen, and the couch in the living room was questionable. Oh we found out the mysterious exposed wiring to be the dishwasher as we found the cover for in the laundry room. This is definitely a case of the you get what you pay for. Overall we wouldn’t stay again but it worked for a quick weekend trip.

Lovely apartment with any amenities required. Cleanliness couldn't be faulted. Felt very comfortable and had plenty of space and very secure with keypads to property and then room. Super convenient location for public transport. A few minutes walk to nearest bus stop and less than 10 minutes to railcar stop.

This is a fantastic place to stay and soak up the New Orleans vibes without being so close to never ending party that is the quarter. The property, building, and most importantly the room was very clean and appears to be well maintained. My wife and I enjoyed opening the windows and relaxing in our room each day after returning from our excursions into the city. The street car and bus lines are within an easy walking distance. The immediate food options are basically non-existent, the only truly close restaurant is breakfast and cash only. But there is some other easy walking to get to Broad St where there are more options such as the fantastic Ruby Slipper. Our stay was wonderful here, and when we return to the city we will book again here at Sonder Gravier. The bed was clean and comfortable, the living room was an inviting space to get off your feet after walking many miles in the nearby French Quarter, Treme, or the Garden District. The kitchen was usable and clean, with some dishes and silverware provided. The coffee wasn't amazing, but it served it's purpose and we partook in a lot of it while we were there. Our only complaint was that there aren't any fans in the room, the AC worked well enough but it would have been nice to have a fan available. Otherwise this place was better than we had hoped for in every metric.

Nous avons séjourné quelques nuits dans cet apparthotel qui était parfait au regard du prix payé. L'appartement était impeccable, l'équipement suffisant pour l'usage que nous en avions (la machine a laver et le séchoir sont un plus indéniable). Il nous aura juste manqué des torchons de cuisine. Le quartier n'est peut être pas le plus intéressant de la Nouvelle Orleans, mais il a l'avantage d'être assez proche du tram et du bus permettant de rejoindre le centre ville rapidement, et à 10 minutes à pied du King Smoothie Center pour ceux qui veulent aller voir un match de NBA. Certains diront que le quartier n'est pas très safe. Nous n'avons eu aucun problème de notre côté (pourtant nous sommes souvent rentres à pied depuis le tram ou le bus et de nuit) donc rien à dire à ce sujet. The cabinets in kitchen and both bathrooms are falling apart. The AC is on a timer and was not cooling in the bedrooms. We had ants all over the kitchen counters. The place has not had any attention in a while. Would not stay at that certain property again I’ve stayed at other Saunder properties and they have been great this one not so great.

Pros: walkable to the main city, quiet, washer, dryer, functioning kitchen, tea, coffee, plates, utensils. Felt very homey, enjoyed it a lot. Great communication. Cons: our AC broke twice, there were fruit flies everywhere, dish washer was very difficult to work. Only 2 large towels and 1 shareable blanket. I wish more was offered or was in storage.

I was sceptical at first because there were reviews about it being in a rough neighbourhood , however, that is not the case it is right beside the medical school and veterans hospital. It is a 5 minute walk to the canal street car, taking less than 15 minutes to get to the French Quarter. We had no issue walking to and from the place at night. Very clean, very quiet and amazing for the price. I would recommend this to anyone looking to have a nice place to stay and I quiet place to sleep.

The bed was the worst I have slept in for a long time. If comfort is important to you, I would not stay at Sonder. I ended up staying elsewhere the second night so I could sleep.

Positiv: sehr groß, sehr sicher und sehr ruhig. Keine Haustiere. Parkplatz im Hof, eingezäunt und gesichert. Negativ: TV nur im Wohnzimmer - leider ging dieser nicht. Licht in de Küche über dem Herd ging ebenfalls nicht. Obere Spülmaschine ohne Funktion. Sämliche elektrische Rolläden gingen nicht. Keinerlei Bedienungsanleitungen vorhanden.

This is a very nice, clean, spacious , modern property. It is also in good proximity to the major tourist spots. The only drawbacks are there is no TV in the bedrooms (I need tv to sleep), the tub stopper didn't work and there was only one wash cloth per bathroom. Otherwise and overall, this was a great property.

The only drawbacks are there is no TV in the bedrooms (I need tv to sleep), the tub stopper didn't work and there was only one wash cloth per bathroom. Otherwise and overall, this was a great property.

Gerade für Sportfan eine sehr gut gelegene Wohnung in der Nähe der Stadien. Problem meiner Wohnung war die Lautstärke der Klimaanlage und das man das öffnen und schließen der Eingangstor hören könnte. Zudem wurde während des Aufenthalts die Straße neu saniert wodurch einiger Baulärm zu vernehmen war (wofür der Betreiber nichts kann).

Innerhalb von ein paar Minuten eine Antwort erhalten und innerhalb 24 Stunden ist der Fön geliefert worden. Volle Punktzahl für alles. Würde jederzeit wieder buchen und kann daher die Unterkunft empfehlen.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the property! It was nicer and grander than we thought it would be - tall ceilings and a large space outfitted with everything you need - very chique and cute! The bed was comfy - my partner and I both slept very soundly. As others have said, I wish the sheets were a bit higher quality, I'd prefer silkier as opposed to 'crunchy/crinkly', they rustled loudly in my ear, but it's a small detail. Other small things: I would prefer a high quality toilet paper, and a plug for the bathtub so that I could enjoy a bath after a long day of walking, and a working hair blow dryer! All hotels have a blowdryer so I was disappointed to not have one in my room. When I got in contact with Sonder, they responded right away, and dropped one off the next day (great service) except it was broken, so that was disappointing as waiting for hair to air-dry is a long process for me. The space seemed very clean to me, minus a few crumbs on the couch (you need a good vaccuum to get those!) and an old stain or two. All of my complaints are fairly minor and easy to fix - if Sonder takes the time to do this, it would elevate the experience. Overall, we still really liked the space and entering/exiting the building was easy. We walked or biked everywhere and didn't find it too sketchy, though I probably wouldn't walk if I was alone at night. I would recommend this place to a friend!

First night there was a fight outside at 2:30am, second day after raining all day the was water on the floor. Called and was very poor communication with the representative. 3rd day at 10am power went out causing the fire alarms to go off, again poor communication with representative when we called to tell them about it. Did not have power restored until 4pm that day. The couch is a pull out(which is fine) but you could not sit on it because the back to the couch is super low. Was not happy with the stay at all!

Very cute! Love that gated parking is an option, but I would be fine with parking my car on the street since it isn’t a bad neighborhood compared to other parts of New Orleans. They forgot to inform us that they were testing fire alarms on 9/1, and me and my boyfriend grabbed all our stuff and ran out the building, just for the alarm to stop not long after, and to then receive a text that it was practice. That was pretty annoying, but I assume it’s something they do at the first of every month? Other than that, it was a very nice place to stay with a gym that had the essentials, and the room had all the appliances you could ever ask for.

Absolutely fantastic! This property met all of our needs and checked all of the boxes. Management communicated with us that there was an issue with the dishwasher and provided ample supplies to offset that. The only other time we needed to communicate was for a later check out and that was done via the app and the response was instant. We're looking forward to our next stay with Sonder.

Great space which appeared to be newly remodeled. Easy to access. Major problem was that there was no central air. It was 95 degrees inside the space. Asked to get moved into a unit with central air but to no avail.

We did not feel safe walking home from the trolley after dark. This neighbourhood is not tourist friendly. There were no extra blankets and one side of the apartment was very cold. We would change the thermostat but it would change back within an hour or so. We also couldn’t figure out how to work the dishwasher. Every time we tried to wash a load of dishes they would come out still dirty. Maybe some directions on how to work the appliances and tv for future stays. There was no cold water. No matter how long we ran the water in the kitchen nor in both bathrooms. There was just no cold water. There was no note saying where to get extra toilet paper, laundry soap, dishwasher soap, bathroom amenities. We were there a full week before accidentally finding them all in the second floor hall way. You were aware we were staying 12 days so you should have made sure we had 12 days worth of amenities or at the very less make sure we knew where to find them. A welcome kit with information on the trolley system and all the things the city has to offer tourist would have been a nice touch.

Huge wow factor when you come in. It’s a recently converted 130 year old school with high ceilings and beautiful rooms. Fully outfitted to cook your own meals. A three minute walk to the Canal Streetcar. Came with a family of four. Gated for additional safety. Free parking onsite. Gym downstairs is two treadmills and a bunch of barbells and some benches - all you need. 100% would stay here any time we are in the city, especially if staying for a week or more.

I was sceptical at first because there were reviews about it being in a rough neighbourhood , however, that is not the case it is right beside the medical school and veterans hospital. It is a 5 minute walk to the canal street car, taking less than 15 minutes to get to the French Quarter. We had no issue walking to and from the place at night. Very clean, very quiet and amazing for the price. I would recommend this to anyone looking to have a nice place to stay and I quiet place to sleep.

Great individual property, very spacious and everything you could reasonably need. Great to have amenities taken care of. Area itself was safe, although in a bit of a run down part of town. Very close to the stadium but otherwise (as is common for most US cities) needed to get a taxi to common spots.

This is a fantastic place to stay and soak up the New Orleans vibes without being so close to never ending party that is the quarter. The property, building, and most importantly the room was very clean and appears to be well maintained. My wife and I enjoyed opening the windows and relaxing in our room each day after returning from our excursions into the city. The street car and bus lines are within an easy walking distance. The immediate food options are basically non-existent, the only truly close restaurant is breakfast and cash only. But there is some other easy walking to get to Broad St where there are more options such as the fantastic Ruby Slipper. Our stay was wonderful here, and when we return to the city we will book again here at Sonder Gravier. The bed was clean and comfortable, the living room was an inviting space to get off your feet after walking many miles in the nearby French Quarter, Treme, or the Garden District. The kitchen was usable and clean, with some dishes and silverware provided. The coffee wasn't amazing, but it served it's purpose and we partook in a lot of it while we were there. Our only complaint was that there aren't any fans in the room, the AC worked well enough but it would have been nice to have a fan available. Otherwise this place was better than we had hoped for in every metric.

This is the terrible place I ever booked. The 1st day No heater, no hot water, not enough comforter, I paid for $3700 for 4 nights and they didn’t even provide any bottles of water in the room. I switched the hotel next day and asked for full refund, they only allow to give me $300.

nicely laid out and a good size. Minor issues, only 3 hangers, one closet did open as the door was scaping the floor and hard to open. No lighting in the parking lot, very dark. We had to deal with loud music one night into the early hours and a very strong odor of marjuana that seeped into our apartment, even though it was suposed to be a smoke free building.
