The hotel staff were fantastic during our stay. Breakfast was great and the terrace is a great place to watch balloons. It was raining the night we left and the staff drove us to the bus station. Would book again!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely rooms and an excellent rooftop to watch the balloons in the morning. The hotel itself was very conveniently located. The area was a bit noisy due to close by construction, but that can’t be helped by the hotel. Everything else was great!

Öncelikle otel her yere çok yakın bir konumda. Oda çok temizdi ve sıcaktı. Kahvaltı açık büfeydi ve gayet yeterliydi. Otelden sabahları balonları izlemesi çok keyifliydi. Otel çalışanları çok ilgililerdi sürekli bir şeye ihtiyacımız olup olmadığı soruldu. 5 gece kaldık ve çok memnun ayrıldık tekrar gelirsek tercih edeceğimiz adres belli.

Really enjoyed our 2 nights at this hotel. First, rooms are nice and comfortable, the rooftop patio is perfect for watching the balloons, there is a dome up higher with a heater to sit and enjoy. The breakfast was delicious, they had a variety of eggs, pastries, meats, cheeses, fries, dips, cookies cakes etc... Parking is very easy just out front the hotel, walkable to anything and everything but in a quiet street. Hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful with anything you wish to do. The only issues we had, there was a slight smell in the bathroom which is extremely common..... and this is NOT a cave room or in a cave... this is a hotel with concrete rooms kinda maybe sorta wanting to be a cave.

We were completely satisfied by our stay at this hotel. It's only 2 floors with maybe 5 rooms on each floor, and the 3rd floor is where the dining room (for breakfast only, included with stay, and very good) as well as the seasonal pool and roof-top patio are located. You can watch the balloons take off from there in the morning. It's a lovely view. The main Goreme commercial (tourist) zone is a few blocks away - a very easy walk with lots of restaurant and souvenir (and ice cream) options. It's a clean and attractive hotel at a reasonable price.

My wife and I stayed at Balloon Cave Hotel for two nights and were thoroughly impressed. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. Every member of the team was welcoming and attentive, with special thanks to Ibrahim & Hussein at reception for his kindness and helpful nature. The terrace offers breathtaking views over Göreme, especially at sunrise when dozens of hot air balloons float gracefully across the sky — truly unforgettable. The hotel’s location is ideal, just a short walk to Göreme City Centre, making it easy to explore shops, restaurants, and local attractions. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well‑appointed, with excellent amenities and room service available. Mornings began with a hearty breakfast featuring fresh, delicious options. The hotel also has a swimming pool (we didn’t use it, but it looked inviting) and offers booking services for local attractions. A thoughtful touch was their wake‑up call service, perfect for catching the magical early‑morning balloon flights from the terrace. Overall, Balloon Cave Hotel combines comfort, convenience, and warm hospitality — a place we would gladly return to and highly recommend to anyone visiting Cappadocia.

We loved this family-run hotel and felt so welcomed and at home. Nothing was too much trouble, from organising tours and an airport transfer, to organising a cork screw for our wine, everything was done with a smile and good cheer. The location was perfect and the hotel was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We would recommend Balloon Cave Hotel and hope to visit again!

We loved this family-run hotel and felt so welcomed and at home. Nothing was too much trouble, from organising tours and an airport transfer, to organising a cork screw for our wine, everything was done with a smile and good cheer. The location was perfect and the hotel was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We would recommend Balloon Cave Hotel and hope to visit again!

Konum: Merkeze çok yakın, giriş çıkışları sıkıntısız. Araç için park alanı müsait. Kahvaltı: Taze, sıcak ve kaliteli. 5-6 çeşit peynir var. Patates kızartması, menemen vb. kahvaltıda olması gereken çoğu şey var. Oda: Penceresiz, sessiz oda tercihimiz oldu. 106 numara. Dedikleri gibi gerçekten sessiz. Dışardan çıt ses gelmiyor. Fotoğraflardaki gibi düzeni temizliği aynı. Saç kurutma makinesi bozuktu, hemen istediğimiz gibi yenisini getirdiler. Oda ilk girdiğimiz saatlerde biraz soğuktu. Klima ile ısıttık. Sonradan kaloriferler iyi yanmaya başladı. Gece boyunca sıcaktı. Hizmet: Çalışanlar çok iyi, baştan sona yardımcı oldular. Karyolaları ilgili sorunu görevliye ilettim. Telafi edeceklerini söylediler. Teşekkürler.

I decided to book this hotel based on reviews I read. I also like to support family owned business. Staff is friendly. The room was clean. I made a request to the hotel to make arrangements for shuttle transportation to and from the airport for 10 euros per trip and per person. A simple breakfast was included in our package. You can see hot air balloons from the rooftop of the hotel. The hotel sold us the green and red tours for 55 euros per tour per person, and it includes lunch and transportation. However, you should check prices at shops downtown before booking with the hotel. The tour guide takes you to tourist attractions and local shops. The green tour included Kem Art Center and it is a tourist trap. The jewelry is overpriced. You can find the same jewelry at another shop in the town at a much cheaper price. I was charged 50 euros for a silver pendant necklace that cost 18 euros at a jewelry shop in the town. Don't purchase anything at places that tour guide takes you. I'm assuming the tour guide and hotel earn a commission, so prices are more expensive. You can find the same products at local stores at much cheaper prices in Gerome. I didn't appreciate the hotel participating in the sale of tours to shops that have overpriced products. A hotel should take care of it's customers and not send them to get ripped off by shops included in tours. The shops in Gerome have the same things for sale at much cheaper prices. Room was located next to road so it was noisy.

We are truly pleased with our stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. The entire hotel staff is incredibly friendly, kind and polite, always willing to patiently answer any questions we had. The breakfast is fantastic—delicious and offering a wide variety of options. The rooms are clean and very comfortable, creating a cozy and relaxing environment. The location of the hotel is also perfect, just a short walk from the heart of Goreme, making it easy to explore all the nearby attractions. We truly felt like we were at home, and the hotel deserves the highest rating. Thank you for everything!

Really enjoyed our 2 nights at this hotel. First, rooms are nice and comfortable, the rooftop patio is perfect for watching the balloons, there is a dome up higher with a heater to sit and enjoy. The breakfast was delicious, they had a variety of eggs, pastries, meats, cheeses, fries, dips, cookies cakes etc... Parking is very easy just out front the hotel, walkable to anything and everything but in a quiet street. Hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful with anything you wish to do. The only issues we had, there was a slight smell in the bathroom which is extremely common..... and this is NOT a cave room or in a cave... this is a hotel with concrete rooms kinda maybe sorta wanting to be a cave.

The hotel staff were fantastic during our stay. Breakfast was great and the terrace is a great place to watch balloons. It was raining the night we left and the staff drove us to the bus station. Would book again!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely rooms and an excellent rooftop to watch the balloons in the morning. The hotel itself was very conveniently located. The area was a bit noisy due to close by construction, but that can’t be helped by the hotel. Everything else was great!

Öncelikle otel her yere çok yakın bir konumda. Oda çok temizdi ve sıcaktı. Kahvaltı açık büfeydi ve gayet yeterliydi. Otelden sabahları balonları izlemesi çok keyifliydi. Otel çalışanları çok ilgililerdi sürekli bir şeye ihtiyacımız olup olmadığı soruldu. 5 gece kaldık ve çok memnun ayrıldık tekrar gelirsek tercih edeceğimiz adres belli.
Öncelikle otel her yere çok yakın bir konumda. Oda çok temizdi ve sıcaktı. Kahvaltı açık büfeydi ve gayet yeterliydi. Otelden sabahları balonları izlemesi çok keyifliydi. Otel çalışanları çok ilgililerdi sürekli bir şeye ihtiyacımız olup olmadığı soruldu. 5 gece kaldık ve çok memnun ayrıldık tekrar gelirsek tercih edeceğimiz adres belli.

I would recomend it any time of the Day. The staff were super kind & helpful especially Jesu 😊 One thing you should never miss is their breakfast ! The ladies are Amazing with the choices … I felt spoiled,gonna miss the sujuc omelete Big hug to the kitchen 🙏

Öncelikle otel her yere çok yakın bir konumda. Oda çok temizdi ve sıcaktı. Kahvaltı açık büfeydi ve gayet yeterliydi. Otelden sabahları balonları izlemesi çok keyifliydi. Otel çalışanları çok ilgililerdi sürekli bir şeye ihtiyacımız olup olmadığı soruldu. 5 gece kaldık ve çok memnun ayrıldık tekrar gelirsek tercih edeceğimiz adres belli.

We had an excellent stay! The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. They made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location was also perfect—close to everything while still being peaceful and quiet. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again. Highly recommended!

Alles war soweit super. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das herausragende Personal! Frühstück war gut und für jeden was dabei. Daß Zimmer war schön und ich hatte ein Balkon mit Blick auf die am Morgen startenden balloons. Ansonsten könnte man die Aussicht auch auf der liebevoll gestalteten Dachterrasse beobachten. Abzugspunkte gibt es leider für das Badezimmer. Es hatte einen sehr muffigen Geruch und die Armaturen waren zwar Funktionabel aber sichtlich defekt. Im allgemeinen ein toller Aufenthalt!

Out of all the hotels we stayed at on our road trip this hotel was my favorite! I wish we could have stayed another night or two. The room felt like staying in a cozy cave with all the amenities you need. The staff deserves 6 stars, they were present, helpful, and went above and beyond. The location was great for walking to shops, getting a bite to eat and a short drive to the open-air m. Breakfast fueled us for the day with great options and a nice view. I loved this hotel!
