The staff at this property were lovely and accommodating. The room was great; kept very clean and well serviced. The massages in the Spa were amazing. The downfall to this property (no fault of their own) is that there is a very noisy bar with a band that plays loud thumping music until after 11pm. It’s particularly bad if you have a room up the front of the hotel. The location is great; it’s 5 minutes walk to the beach. There’s a convenience store across the road, the Vietnamese restaurant out the front has delicious food. It’s in a one way street; jumping in a cab is very easy. There’s a store across the road that does laundry for $3 or so for a large bag, and they have bike hire too. Breakfast was hit and miss; they could never get the eggs to be cooked well done; but everything else was delicious. The croissants were always warm and fresh. Aside from the noisy nights, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

The Sagara Villas were just superb. My husband and I stayed in a two bedroom villa as that was the only villa available when we booked. It was just magnificent ! Everything about it, we just loved it. The pool was spectacular the villas and the living areas were amazing plus the bathrooms were super awesome with the outdoor rain showers! Was such a wonderful peaceful and relaxing experience we will definitely be back! The staff were also fantastic, so helpful and sweet. We had a delicious breakfast delivered to our room every morning and spent most about time swimming in our private pool...what a great holiday! The villa was in a great area also, very quiet but so close to shops restaurants and the beach. I was so sad that we had to leave, we can't wait to return! Thank you Sagara, our stay with you was absolutely wonderful and such lovely memories.

Sagara Villas & Suites was a lovely older style boutique hotel. I loved that it was a small hotel with fantastic staff. It had a beautiful quiet pool area for relaxing. Our upstairs suite was very roomy and comfortable. There were lots of restaurants, spas and shops in walking distance.

I had an incredible stay in one of the SAGARA suites. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed, was cleaned well everyday and there was also a turndown service which was a great touch. The pool area was great and always a free sun lounger when I went down. I also made use of the spa facilities and received the best balinese massage I've had - highly recommend this service. The quality of food was also great, I had both breakfast and dinner from the hotel menus and couldn't fault it. There is also a Vietnamese restaurant tied to the hotel that you can order from which was also delicious. Finally the staff were really what made this place, I received 5* service from all staff members.

We loved our stay at Sagara. First time back since Covid and it didn't disappoint. Some work being done to the premises but that didn't impact on us. It'll make the whole place better in the long run. Breakfast options are fine and tasty. Western, Mexican and Bali options. The suites are well setout and the air-conditioning is frosty. The pool being so very warm was probably my biggest issue in the whole experience. As usual, the staff were superb. Nothing is too much trouble and we were very well looked. We'll be back again!!

We stayed at SAGARA Villas and Suites for one night only, before our trip to Nusa Lembongan the next morning. We had a really great experience. The one-bedroom villa I stayed in was amazing. A great outdoor shower, as well as an indoor bath and bathroom, a great size room, outdoor lounge, kitchen and a plunge pool. Everything was clean, and the bed really comfortable. The staff were absolutely amazing! They were very helpful, and took great care of us. I arrived and had a massive headache, and they went out of their way to go to the pharmacy to buy painkillers for me. The breakfast was delicious, and the Vietnamese restaurant next door was really good too. We wished we had stayed an extra night as the villa experience with private pool and friendly staff were fantastic. Thank you for a great stay, and for taking such great care of us.

Firstly very disrespectful not to be informed prior to our arrival there was construction happening in the villa next door 7 days a week 9-5pm (however started at 8am and finished 5.30/6pm) no management intervention. Poor form!

This is a lovely, smaller boutique hotel, in a convenient location with many great eateries nearby. I was initially put in a downstairs room which was older, and had a very off-putting smell. I mentioned it to staff, so next day was moved to an upstairs room, so much better! Many thanks to the wonderful staff. Lovely gardens and pool.

Biggest room we came across in our stays in Bali. Robes and slippers and water provided, personal spa pool and a bath, air conditioner was quiet and effective. Bed was comfortable and big, however sheets had a few stains and a spot of blood which was a bit offputting but overall a decent stay. Great location too! Breakfast was nice, pool was good, very pretty grounds

Overall, not a bad stay. Upsides were that the location is good and staff are friendly and helpful. The downsides i would say, is that the rooms are a little dated. We stayed in villa, with own plunge pool. We felt the outdoor couch was a bit dated and didn't really suit the decor. Also, in the bathroom, there is an outdoor shower. The walls of the shower was showing black mold around the bottom. Which needs a good scrub and re-paint. Overall it was comfortable. Especially the sun loungers. The private pool doesn't get much sun.
Overall, not a bad stay. Upsides were that the location is good and staff are friendly and helpful. The downsides i would say, is that the rooms are a little dated. We stayed in villa, with own plunge pool. We felt the outdoor couch was a bit dated and didn't really suit the decor. Also, in the bathroom, there is an outdoor shower. The one bedroom suite was perfect for us. It was a large room with Jacuzzi and it was very clean. The breakfast was good and the location of the hotel is perfect. The beach was only 5 minutes by walk. The staff at the hotel were very friendly.

ホテルにて6泊しました。 1泊約1万円強くらいで毎日朝食もついてくる事から非常にお得に感じます。 朝食は種類がありナシゴレンとミーゴレンが美味しかったです。朝食の時間が10時半頃までやっているので助かりました。 ジュースやコーヒーはお代わりできます。 客層はオーストラリア人が多くアジア系は少ない印象です。日本人は見ませんでした。 SPAも受けましたが紙パンツを履いてのバリニーズマッサージが気持ちよかったです。会計はチェックアウト時にしました。 上半身裸になるため女性だと女性セラピストが良いかの確認をしてきます。 周辺にはサヌールビーチがありますし、コンビニやスーパーも近いのでかなり便利です。 悪いところは以下の通りです。 1.お風呂のところが下水臭い 2.お部屋のジャグジーへのドアの鍵が閉めにくい 3.バスタオルを替えるための板をベッドに置いてあるのに替えてくれない日があった 4.全体的に施設の老朽化を感じる 5.部屋に蚊が多い…(フロントにいうと蚊対策のノーマットみたいなのを貸してくれます) 総じて値段や立地で考えればすごい良いホテルだと思います！ 特にゆっくり落ち着いた旅行をしたい人に向いています。 スタッフの話だとハネムーンに使う人が多いようです。 日本語を話すスタッフはいませんでしたので最低限の英語でコミュニケーションしました。

Sagara was wonderful for a quiet relaxing few days after the noise and busyness of Ubud. The apartment was clean and spacious and the private pool was wonderful. All the staff went out of their way to make it a wonderful break, with their friendly, smiling faces. Nothing was too much trouble

Biggest room we came across in our stays in Bali. Robes and slippers and water provided, personal spa pool and a bath, air conditioner was quiet and effective. Bed was comfortable and big, however sheets had a few stains and a spot of blood which was a bit offputting but overall a decent stay. Great location too! Overall, not a bad stay. Upsides were that the location is good and staff are friendly and helpful. The downsides i would say, is that the rooms are a little dated. We stayed in villa, with own plunge pool. We felt the outdoor couch was a bit dated and didn't really suit the decor. Also, in the bathroom, there is an outdoor shower. The walls of the shower was showing black mold around the bottom. Which needs a good scrub and re-paint. Overall it was comfortable. Especially the sun loungers. The private pool doesn't get much sun.

The one bedroom suite was perfect for us. It was a large room with Jacuzzi and it was very clean. The breakfast was good and the location of the hotel is perfect. The beach was only 5 minutes by walk. The staff at the hotel were very friendly.

The room that I was put in was facing the road, no windows, music till late from the restaurant across the road, not acceptable. Moved upstairs to the same loud music till late, spoilt my holiday. I only stayed 6 nights as I couldn’t sleep. Asked about villas at the back of the property but none were ever available so I will not recommend this property at all to anyone 😡 So Expedia you owe me for 4 nights.

In a quieter part of Sanur, near Mertasari beach but with tons of good restaurants and earrings close by. My room was incredible— lovely decor, big soaker tub and a walk in shower. There’s even a jacuzzi on the terrace! However, there was a couple of times where I ordered from room service and was mildly disappointed— the food was good and arrived quickly but twice I ordered a glass of milk with my meal and both times, it was forgotten (not a big deal, just a slight inconvenience as I had planned to use the milk for coffee in my room the next morning— no creamer/coffee mate)

This is a lovely, smaller boutique hotel, in a convenient location with many great eateries nearby. I was initially put in a downstairs room which was older, and had a very off-putting smell. I mentioned it to staff, so next day was moved to an upstairs room, so much better! Many thanks to the wonderful staff. Lovely gardens and pool.

The staff at this property were lovely and accommodating. The room was great; kept very clean and well serviced. The massages in the Spa were amazing. The downfall to this property (no fault of their own) is that there is a very noisy bar with a band that plays loud thumping music until after 11pm. There’s a convenience store across the road, the Vietnamese restaurant out the front has delicious food. It’s in a one way street; jumping in a cab is very easy. There’s a store across the road that does laundry for $3 or so for a large bag, and they have bike hire too. Breakfast was hit and miss; they could never get the eggs to be cooked well done; but everything else was delicious. The croissants were always warm and fresh. Aside from the noisy nights, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

On the plus side villa was huge and pool super clean with beautiful gardens. They offered a free light afternoon tea and free breakfast included. Staff are lovely but I feel they may be understaffed. Sagara Villas & Suites was a lovely older style boutique hotel. I loved that it was a small hotel with fantastic staff. It had a beautiful quiet pool area for relaxing. Our upstairs suite was very roomy and comfortable. There were lots of restaurants, spas and shops in walking distance.

I had an incredible stay in one of the SAGARA suites. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed, was cleaned well everyday and there was also a turndown service which was a great touch. The pool area was great and always a free sun lounger when I went down. I also made use of the spa facilities and received the best balinese massage I've had - highly recommend this service. The quality of food was also great, I had both breakfast and dinner from the hotel menus and couldn't fault it. There is also a Vietnamese restaurant tied to the hotel that you can order from which was also delicious. Finally the staff were really what made this place, I received 5* service from all staff members.

We loved our stay at Sagara. First time back since Covid and it didn't disappoint. Some work being done to the premises but that didn't impact on us. It'll make the whole place better in the long run. Breakfast options are fine and tasty. Western, Mexican and Bali options. The suites are well setout and the air-conditioning is frosty. The pool being so very warm was probably my biggest issue in the whole experience. As usual, the staff were superb. Nothing is too much trouble and we were very well looked. We'll be back again!!

We stayed at SAGARA Villas and Suites for one night only, before our trip to Nusa Lembongan the next morning. We had a really great experience. The one-bedroom villa I stayed in was amazing. A great outdoor shower, as well as an indoor bath and bathroom, a great size room, outdoor lounge, kitchen and a plunge pool. Everything was clean, and the bed really comfortable. The staff were absolutely amazing! They were very helpful, and took great care of us. I arrived and had a massive headache, and they went out of their way to go to the pharmacy to buy painkillers for me. The breakfast was delicious, and the Vietnamese restaurant next door was really good too. We wished we had stayed an extra night as the villa experience with private pool and friendly staff were fantastic. Thank you for a great stay, and for taking such great care of us.

It is nice to stay in a boutique property like Sagara. There was always plenty of room available at the pool, and often we had it to ourselves. The grounds are peaceful and quiet. The staff are friendly and willing to help. The location is fantastic with everything you need within a 10 minute walk. The room was kept very clean and the bed very soft. The cons to consider is that all the suites back on to the road which includes a restaurant that plays live music every night from 8-11pm, so please factor this in if it is something that will bother you. The breakfast will be satisfying for most, but wasn't big enough for my husband. All in all I would stay here again and recommend it to others.

Private pool villas were perfect for a couples getaway, we felt like we were the only people staying at the hotel. Sanur is very low key and peaceful with everything you need in walking distance. All hotel staff were amazing and went out of their way to ensure the stay was memorable

The staff at this property were lovely and accommodating. The room was great; kept very clean and well serviced. The massages in the Spa were amazing. The downfall to this property (no fault of their own) is that there is a very noisy bar with a band that plays loud thumping music until after 11pm. It’s particularly bad if you have a room up the front of the hotel. The location is great; it’s 5 minutes walk to the beach. There’s a convenience store across the road, the Vietnamese restaurant out the front has delicious food. It’s in a one way street; jumping in a cab is very easy. There’s a store across the road that does laundry for $3 or so for a large bag, and they have bike hire too. Breakfast was hit and miss; they could never get the eggs to be cooked well done; but everything else was delicious. The croissants were always warm and fresh. Aside from the noisy nights, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

We stayed in a pool Villa and it was wonderful. The staff are always smiling and very friendly. Nothing was ever a bother. The food from Sagara Villas and Suites restaurant/cafe was very very good and reasonably priced. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you to all the staff, Management should be very proud.

Le personnel est aux petits soins, disponible 24h/24 par téléphone, nous avions une suite qui était très spacieuse et bien équipée (literie au top, jacuzzi, douche, baignoire, gel douche + shampoing, brosse à dents, serviettes…) La piscine extérieure est très agréable avec transats et serviettes fournies. Le petit déjeuner est bien, attention cependant il ne s’agit pas d’un buffet mais d’un petit déjeuner sur commande, bien fourni! Possibilité de louer un vélo pour 50.000 IDK la journée pour aller se promener jusqu’à la plage à environ 2km ou le long de la plage!

I had an incredible stay in one of the SAGARA suites. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed, was cleaned well everyday and there was also a turndown service which was a great touch. The pool area was great and always a free sun lounger when I went down. I also made use of the spa facilities and received the best balinese massage I've had - highly recommend this service. The quality of food was also great, I had both breakfast and dinner from the hotel menus and couldn't fault it. There is also a Vietnamese restaurant tied to the hotel that you can order from which was also delicious. Finally the staff were really what made this place, I received 5* service from all staff members.

We stayed at SAGARA Villas and Suites for one night only, before our trip to Nusa Lembongan the next morning. We had a really great experience. The one-bedroom villa I stayed in was amazing. A great outdoor shower, as well as an indoor bath and bathroom, a great size room, outdoor lounge, kitchen and a plunge pool. Everything was clean, and the bed really comfortable. The staff were absolutely amazing! They were very helpful, and took great care of us. I arrived and had a massive headache, and they went out of their way to go to the pharmacy to buy painkillers for me. The breakfast was delicious, and the Vietnamese restaurant next door was really good too. We wished we had stayed an extra night as the villa experience with private pool and friendly staff were fantastic. Thank you for a great stay, and for taking such great care of us.

In a quieter part of Sanur, near Mertasari beach but with tons of good restaurants and earrings close by. My room was incredible— lovely decor, big soaker tub and a walk in shower. There’s even a jacuzzi on the terrace! However, there was a couple of times where I ordered from room service and was mildly disappointed— the food was good and arrived quickly but twice I ordered a glass of milk with my meal and both times, it was forgotten (not a big deal, just a slight inconvenience as I had planned to use the milk for coffee in my room the next morning— no creamer/coffee mate)

Love the small boutique hotel vibe, think 12 suites (which stayed in one) and 12 villas. The suite is spacious and has all you need including dark rooms at night and good air conditioning. Pool was great, sun majority of the day and it was very peaceful. The Vietnamese restaurant attached Hanoi was delicious got food from there perhaps too often!

Detta är inte ett 5-stjärnigt hotell. Jag skulle säga 3.5 eller 4 stjärnor. Rummet vi bodde i var slitet och städningen var inte 5-stjärnig. Our stay at Sagara Villas and Suites was fantastic. The staff are very welcoming and want to be there for any needs. We stayed in a one bedroom pool villa which was such a nice private setting. The only downside was there is a bit too much shading over the villa which means you cannot sunbathe often and the pool stayed cold. However, we still swam atleast once a day and it was always kept clean. The bedroom was prepped in the evenings everyday too which was lovely. We will miss this little bit of heaven and definitely made a great choice of location for picturesque areas and peace and quiet.

Tucked in behind the delicious Vietnamese resto Hanoi by MeVui Sanur, the Sagara has a welcoming vibe that carries through reception, to the pool and main cafe dining area, into the superb villas with private plunge pools, elegant bathtubs, and outdoor rainfall showers. The attention to detail in every area of the villa suite (#2) included: international power points, fully equipped kitchen with new appliances (including microwave, stove, full size fridge, pantry), and an in-room water cooler for fresh hot, cold, warm filtered H2O. The plunge pool was the star of the show, but the comfortable bed and deep bathtub were solid runners-up. Also, the amenities included shaving kit, bamboo dental kit, and excellent liquid soap and shower items. Free local shuttle service helped a lot with snorkelling trips, too. The staff were proactive, super helpful (especially when I walked away without my passport at check-in), kept the room in perfect condition, and the entire property felt like one of the newest, freshest I've experienced in Bali. I'd absolutely return on a future Sanur trip, because the area is also the ideal mix of options but quiet and relaxing when that's needed. Highly recommended for solo travellers and couples.
