It was a lovely stay. The hotel room was very comfortable and had everything we needed plus a brilliant sea view, the hotel was well placed, clean and very smart. The pool and jacuzzi was sadly closed in the middle of our stay but staff arranged for us to go and use their sister hotels pool and jacuzzi which was even better! The staff were great, welcome drinks and a little gift to leave with. Breakfast was very nice with a huge amount of choice too. I would very much stay here again if I visited Madiera.

Don’t be fooled by the pictures - the pool is tiny. However, it’s not needed as the natural pools (which you get a free ticket through the hotel) are an absolute highlight. The staff were wonderful and the food was decent.

Excellent stay, with a heated indoor pool and infinity pool on the roof. Steam room, sauna and hot tub available as well. Room cleaned daily with chocolates left on the bed!

We had such a lovely staff. The staff was wonderful and welcoming with so much information to all of my questions while checking-in with a lovely welcome drink. We were super impressed with the breakfast serving freshly made waffles and pancakes. The ocean view from our room was amazing! We were also very impressed at how late the amenities stayed open which was fantastic after a long day of hiking.

Hôtel de petite taille disposant d’une magnifique vue sur l’océan. Parking sur place mais possibilité de se garer à l’extérieur gratuitement tout autour de la propriété. La chambre était bien décorée et semblait rénovée; elle m’a juste semblé plus petite que sur les photos. Le gros plus est la piscine à débordement sur le toit mais il y a aussi une piscine intérieure avec un jacuzzi et un sauna. L’accès à la piscine naturelle à proximité de l’hôtel est gratuit avec l’hôtel ce qui est toujours un plus. Le restaurant était également de bonne facture. Le personnel est très accueillant et chaleureux. Le village est bien situé pour visiter le reste de l’île. Il faut juste garder à l’esprit que le nord est plus pluvieux que le reste de l’île.

A sziget èszaki rèszèn van itt kicsit szelesebb hűvösebb az idő,de tökèletes a pihenèshez.A tetőtèren a medence,napozò mesès.Benti medence is van de pici.Jacuzzi foglalòs.Kondi terem.Nagyon bősèges a svèdasztalos reggeli,isteni a frissen prèselt naracslè.Kedvesek,első nap itallal kînàltak,utolsò nap ajàndèkkal leptek meg.Imàdtuk! Had an excellent stay at this hotel! The facilities are robust, and the staff is incredibly friendly. The operation time for the swimming pool and sauna until 22:00 was convenient, providing a relaxing experience after a day of hiking. Overall, we really liked this hotel and would highly recommend it.

Great stay here. Location and views are perfect. Our only complaint is not enough pool chairs/loungers by the outdoor pool. People were also saving there spots with towels but were nowhere to be seen often for hours

Tolle Lage, schöne Sonnenaufgänge direkt aus dem Bett zu sehen, Parkmöglichkeiten in der Nebensaison (Februar) kein Problem, Wellnessbereich im Keller in die Jahre gekommen und sehr clean, schöne Zimmer, großes Frühstücksbuffet, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, grüne Anlage

Les points forts de l'hôtel sont sa localisation, la gentillesse du personnel, la qualité et variété du petit déjeuner. L'hôtel est très bien équipé (2 piscines, spa, salle de musculation, ascenseur,...). La décoration est très belle, les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables. Mention spécial au personnel du petit déjeuner et notamment au chef cuisinier. Les points négatifs sont l'isolation des chambres (bruits dans les couloirs, et bruits extérieurs), le ménage dans la chambre seulement de rangement alors que nous sommes restés 12 nuits aucun changement de drap. Malgré nos inscriptions aux petits déjeuners nous avons été réveillés quelques fois en amont par l'équipe de ménage qui voulait savoir si ils pouvaient faire la chambre.

The room with a view to die for. It’s a true gift to see the sunrise like this. Mind-blowing! The room was spacious. The breakfast team was really good. Good coffee and fresh-pressed juice. The dinner was low-quality. The food without taste, strange combination of ingredients and old-fashioned presentation.

Property was beautiful and clean. The staff and food were wonderful. Had a great free breakfast each morning. The beds we extremely hard, but provided plenty of linen options to try and assist. Location was beautiful. Had a great day just explorijg Porto Moniz, then explored the Coast - each town was only a 20ish minute drive to the next, then an hour back. Enjoyed having this as our first exploring location.

- Bei der Ankunft haben wir eine Weile gewartet, um jemanden an der Rezeption zu haben, der Manager war im Restaurantbereich und die Rezeption war unbesetzt. Gut eingerichtetes, sauberes Zimmer mit außergewöhnlicher Aussicht. Bequeme Parkplätze vor Ort. Restaurant mit langer Wartezeit, ästhetisch schönen Gerichten, aber so reich an Geschmackskombinationen (allerdings viele, nicht unbedingt konsistent und notwendig), dass ich es nicht weiterempfehlen würde.

Twee nachten. Het is een net hotel op een heel mooie lokatie. Wij vonden de bedden erg hard en het ontbijt was niet zoals het hoort voor een 4-sterren hotel. Veel lege schalen en niet op tijd weer gevuld. Maar er zijn net veel hotels in Porto moniz, dus daarmee blijft het wen goede keize op een mooie lokatie. Porto Moniz is genoeg voor twee nachten.

First impressions were good. We were shown our room on the side of the hotel. I was disappointed it had a bath with shower over rather than walk in shower but the staff member was able to show us another room, but its location was not so good as it was right by the door to the outside pool. We decided to stay in the first. Room was small but clean. The air con is a portable freestanding type which is very very loud! The view from the balcony is beautiful. The usb points on one side of the bed did not work and the pillows were old and lumpy. I asked if they had firmer or basically any other pillows, they said they would ask. I heard no more. Carpark is very small, but we did always manage to find a space on the road. Overall, not for us, but choice is limited in that part of Madeira.
First impressions were good. We were shown our room on the side of the hotel. I was disappointed it had a bath with shower over rather than walk in shower but the staff member was able to show us another room, but its location was not so good as it was right by the door to the outside pool. We decided to stay in the first. Room was small but clean. The air con is a portable freestanding type which is very very loud! The view from the balcony is beautiful. The place is perfect. It's modern everywhere, it's comfortable, the staff is very friendly, the breakfast was great. We took a superior room, which was amazing - but there are just 2 of them in the hotel and they are 114 214. We got 114, and the view from the room is the worst of the hotel - just of a parking lot and an ugly concrete platform around the sea. Just for you to know if you order this type of room.

Hôtel très bien mais assez bruyant en interne malgré le calme à l'extérieur au bord de la mer. Nous entendons les voisins le soir tard et le matin de bonne heure, mauvaise isolation phonique entre les chambres, les couloirs, on entend également les les cuisines et restaurant.

We had such a lovely staff. The staff was wonderful and welcoming with so much information to all of my questions while checking-in with a lovely welcome drink. We were super impressed with the breakfast serving freshly made waffles and pancakes. The ocean view from our room was amazing! We were also very impressed at how late the amenities stayed open which was fantastic after a long day of hiking.

Super Lage und schönes Hotel. Die Organisation allerdings etwas kompliziert. Beim Check-in wurden wir nicht gefragt, welche Kreditkarte wir verwenden wollen etc., sondern es wurde die hinterlegte CC belastet, welche nur zur Reservierung hinterlegt war. Daraufhin wurden gleich die Schlüssel gesperrt...Eine Massage wurde doppelt auf unserer CC abgerechnet, aber nur einmal im "Account" gefunden...seit einer Woche "laufen" wir nun dieser Abrechnung hinterher und mussten über unsere CC-Bank uns selbst darum kümmern....Also gut aufpassen!

Badly organised hotel. Arrived 5:30pm and room wasn't ready. This wasn't a one off as there were 4 other couples waiting with same problem. We had to ask for things several times before anything was done. Generally staff very unenthusiastic with a few exceptions. Drinks were very highly priced compared to other places on island. Almost double in some cases. Food was average but again very expensive for quality. Bizarre and sexist artwork in toilets. I would avoid this hotel.

Das Personal war rundum freundlich und kundenorientiert Die Zimmer waren sehr geräumig und den Meerblick habe ich sehr genossen. Toll, war der Wasserspender zum auffüllen der Wasserflaschen für unsere Wanderungen. Die Speisen im Restaurant waren sehr lecker, die Auswahl an vegetarischen Gerichten für einen einwöchigen Aufenthalt mit Halbpension aber etwas rar. Toller Pool, den man genießen kann, wenn keine Insta „Stars“ in Sicht sind.

The location was fantastic, and the staff were friendly. The ocean view was breathtaking, and the window allowed us to keep it open at night to listen to the sound of the waves. However, the town itself felt quite touristy, offering a limited variety of restaurants.

We loved staying at the Aqua Natura Bay in Porto Moniz. The infinity pool has an spectacular view of the North side of the island. Rooms were clean, beds and pillow were comfy. Delicious breakfast included. The only thing I would like to point out is the parking limitation. However, they offered to pay for parking outside the hotel property. This property is right across from the aquarium and one of the natural pools. I am definitely planning to stay here next time I visit the Northwest side of Madeira.

A beautiful hotel where every room has a sea view. Lots of facilities, room top infinity pool, gym, spa, hot tub - the list is long. The room was very clean and spacious with all mod cons and then some. The staff were great and the food was amazing. It is across the road from the volcano pools and a 5 minute walk from the bigger pool. A lovely place to stay and explore the beautiful island of Madeira.

Centrally located, modern facilities, excellent breakfast, all rooms have ocean views, friendly staff. A rental car can be booked at the hotel and is recommended to explore the island. However, bus transportation is available also. Great alternative to large hotels and a good spot to explore the Northern part of Madeira. It was a lovely stay. The hotel room was very comfortable and had everything we needed plus a brilliant sea view, the hotel was well placed, clean and very smart. The pool and jacuzzi was sadly closed in the middle of our stay but staff arranged for us to go and use their sister hotels pool and jacuzzi which was even better! The staff were great, welcome drinks and a little gift to leave with. Breakfast was very nice with a huge amount of choice too. I would very much stay here again if I visited Madiera.

Property was beautiful and clean. The staff and food were wonderful. Had a great free breakfast each morning. The beds we extremely hard, but provided plenty of linen options to try and assist. Location was beautiful. Had a great day just explorijg Porto Moniz, then explored the Coast - each town was only a 20ish minute drive to the next, then an hour back. Enjoyed having this as our first exploring location.

- Bei der Ankunft haben wir eine Weile gewartet, um jemanden an der Rezeption zu haben, der Manager war im Restaurantbereich und die Rezeption war unbesetzt. Restaurant mit langer Wartezeit, ästhetisch schönen Gerichten, aber so reich an Geschmackskombinationen (allerdings viele, nicht unbedingt konsistent und notwendig), dass ich es nicht weiterempfehlen würde.

Twee nachten. Het is een net hotel op een heel mooie lokatie. Wij vonden de bedden erg hard en het ontbijt was niet zoals het hoort voor een 4-sterren hotel. Veel lege schalen en niet op tijd weer gevuld. Maar er zijn net veel hotels in Porto moniz, dus daarmee blijft het wen goede keize op een mooie lokatie. Porto Moniz is genoeg voor twee nachten.

Die Lage ist sehr schön. Der Pool auf dem Dach ist toll. Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer in der 3. Etage mit Meerblick. Die Sauberkeit war i.O. Nur leider war bei der HP das Abendessen der separaten HP-Karte immer das Gleiche. Bei 7 Tagen HP wurde das ziemlich schnell sehr eintönig. Das Essen war erstklassig angerichtet , doch leider konnte der Geschmack der Optik nicht mithalten. Das Personal beim Frühstück und beim Abendessen war immer sehr angenehm und freundlich.

Such friendly and helpful staff. Really nice breakfast but elements of half board dinner let the meal down eg potato rosti turned out to be a frozen hash brown. The very cheap and nasty blue fizz that is meant as a bonus only leaves a bad taste in more ways than one. Overall a very good hotel for the money.

A truly beautiful resort in a beautiful location. Polite and courteous staff. Really nice rooftop pool and lounge area. Sufficient gym which is somehow a rarity at most hotels. A fine breakfast buffet with good variety. Parking can be difficult as that area of town is typically quite busy during the day as it is directly across from the natural pools. They do have a small (approx. 10 stalls) of private parking behind the facility but if it is full, you need to find street parking. Would absolutely recommend!

Nice resort hotel in the North West of Madeira, perfectly located for the natural pools. As an added bonus you get access to unlimited free day passes into the pools that require a paid ticket. The staff were so lovely, friendly and helpful. We had a friend call ahead (unknown to us) to tell them it was our honeymoon and they gave us a free bottle of wine which was a lovely gesture. The restaurant is fantastic ,with gorgeous views and great food. We had a brilliant view over-looking the ocean from our room balcony too. The property itself feels more like a beach resort than a luxury hotel, which is not problem but just something to bear in mind depending on what you're looking for. A couple features are a little dated and could use a spruce up. The rooftop pool is incredible and comes with 2 daybeds plus a handful of sun-loungers and umbrellas. On busy days however these get taken up so they could do with some more chairs up there. They do have parking but it's a tiny lot so we ended up on the street each day, which was free, but the street does get busy during the day with tourists coming up for the pools. The room was a great size and came with robes and slippers. All in all we had a great stay, and really appreciated the staff and all their help!

The restaurant is fantastic ,with gorgeous views and great food. We had a brilliant view over-looking the ocean from our room balcony too. The property itself feels more like a beach resort than a luxury hotel, which is not problem but just something to bear in mind depending on what you're looking for. A couple features are a little dated and could use a spruce up. The rooftop pool is incredible and comes with 2 daybeds plus a handful of sun-loungers and umbrellas. On busy days however these get taken up so they could do with some more chairs up there. They do have parking but it's a tiny lot so we ended up on the street each day, which was free, but the street does get busy during the day with tourists coming up for the pools. The room was a great size and came with robes and slippers. All in all we had a great stay, and really appreciated the staff and all their help!
