Five night stay. First day check in the lady was awesome. We did not get housekeeping until we requested again on day 4. Night of day two saw two dead roaches on 1st floor landing of at foot of stairwell indoors. Advised the two night clerks, one who said they had sprayed the premises a day or so earlier and maybe they had come in while someone was coming or leaving. The following morning they were still there. They were STILL there that night as was now a live roach crawling around. While I took a video my gf told the night clerk and they may want to dispose of them as this was not a good look for the hotel. We were on 2nd floor and did not see roaches in our room.( I hope) Maybe in Texas it might not be a big deal but I would not have liked to have been in a 1st floor room as there were two rooms right nearby this area. If I owned the place my staff would have removed the dead roaches immediately and not leave them an additional 14 hours for another complaint to be made. Room cleaning was unsatisfactory. Shower water pressure was poor Toilet tank handle was finnicky. Attention to sanitation. I expected more from a Fairfield-Marriott considering the price. If I were a stockholder, I would be annoyed.
