Navarino Captains Villa - Lux Private Pool Retreat

The property was beautiful with excellent accommodations. We were able to walk a few blocks along the water to downtown for several restaurants, bakery and grocery store. We even were fortunate to witness from the side outside terrace a herd of sheep grazing in the fields, it was amazing to see. We absolutely loved it!

Adorable town with great dining options. House was the person for a group of six. Check I. Process was smooth and hosts easy to reach.

This house in Marathopoli was the perfect home base for our family of 7 (all adults except one teen) for a week in June. Wanting to avoid crowded cities, this small seaside village 3.5hrs southwest of Athens was ideal to relax and unwind, serving up amazing local food, with a beautiful spot to swim in the sea at the end of the street or at the gorgeous beach nearby. We ventured out to a waterfall, took a boat ride to the island close by for some snorkeling, and explored some castles and nearby villages. Our hosts were extremely attentive, and responsive to our every need and request, including providing us with a cooking lesson at their nearby restaurant and hiring a messeur to come to the house to provide us all massages. It was everything we hoped tor and we would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a quiet, relaxing vacation!
