Hotel MX mas reforma CDMX, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

The location of the hotel is great. The downside of the great location is that it is super loud overnight. There was noise until 4am on the weekend from bars and clubs across the street. The elevator did not work for most of the stay. The bed was comfortable but there were no additions that are common in hotels in Canada and the United States (mini fridge, full length mirror, or even a Kleenex box). There was an issue with the toilet around midnight on one of the nights of the stay. We were told it was "impossible" to fix until 7am the next morning. When asked how we would use the toilet if required, there was no response. Overall, the standard of this hotel is not what I expected coming from Canada and the level of customer service was far below what we normally expect.

El ascensor no funcionó la mayor parte del tiempo, mucho ruido, proveniente dentro del mismo hotel o de la cafetería del primer piso, cubre camas con manchas, no había papel higiénico en el baño a la hora de entrar.

Buena ubicación pero no tiene estacionamiento.

Construction ongoing. very noisy to work. Bathroom smells. Poor bath amenities like soap, shampoo, lotion. No Gym, No microwave in the room. Only best thing is that this hotel is close to the US embassy.

The hotel is centrally located and my room had a great view of The Angel of Independence (that view may be disappearing as they appear to be building a large structure across the lane). It was quite noisy; one night there was a very loud festival at the statue’s base and one morning, at around 6 am, a marathon of sorts took off from that location. Let me tell you, the enthusiasm the announcers were trying to generate at that hour did not have such positive impact on me. The hotel has little impact on that. The hotel was clean as was the hotel room and the bed was really comfortable. The staff were super friendly. The “gym” is essentially a small room with a treadmill and some weights, so don’t expect a good workout. The breakfast buffet is just okay. On the ground floor is a great bakery where you can get delicious coffee and breakfast; they’re actually open all day.

Se descompuso el elevador y tuve que subir 5 pisos con maletas. Debería haber más baños en áreas comunes. La habitación estaba bonita, la vista muy bien y la ubicación también. El baño está amplio. En conclusión, el hotel es bueno para estancias cortas. Me hubiera gustado más amenidades.

Me gustó el lugar y la accesibilidad , lo único malo es que. No cuenta con estacionamiento

Bathroom shower needed a deep cleaning. The bathroom towels were so thin and old. The bed sheets were way too small for the bed. They did not reach to one side of the bed, you could see the mattress. It looks like the sheets were for a full size mattress and the bed is a queen. The sheets were also stained and yellow. Should get new ones too!

Las sábanas tenían manchas. En la ducha habian pelos. Las ventanas estaban sucias. Tuve que mandar a limpiar los muebles de la terraza los cuales ademas no tenian cojines. Habia un solo gancho para poner las toallas.

Es una simulación, por fuera tiene una imagen padre, por dentro las habitaciones están sucias, si ropa de cama y toallas sucios, percudidos. Salió una cucaracha en el baño. Nos salimos a los 25 minutos de haber entrado

La ubicación es su mayor fuerte, juntos con la limpieza y amabilidad de su personal.

Nach dem Check-in mussten wir das Zimmer viermal wechseln, bis wir ein sauberes Zimmer gefunden haben. Das Personal der Rezeption war sehr hilfreich und hat uns weitere Zimmer gezeigt, bis schlussendlich das vierte Zimmer sauber und das Bett tatsächlich frisch gemacht war. Die vorherigen Zimmer waren weder gereinigt, noch war die Bettwäsche gewechselt sondern lediglich oberflächlich glatt gezogen worden,jedoch die Bettwäsche voller Haare und anderer Verunreinigungen. Das WLAN war nur für Messenger Nutzung zu gebrauchen bei unter 0.5Mbps war Arbeiten leider nicht möglich. Die Ausstattung des Zimmers sowie Badezimmers war gut und neuwertig. Das Frühstück war im Preis mit inbegriffen und sehr gut,auf der Dachterrasse im Hotel bei sehr gutem Servicepersonal am Frühstücksbuffet. Die Dachterrasse ist 24h geöffnet und die vollautomatische Kaffeemaschine kostenlos nutzbar. Das gesamte Hotel ist schön gestaltet im Inneren und neuwertig bei einer Mischung des Designs aus Holz,Metall und klassischem Stein.

Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt, jedoch gleicht dies die Nachteile nicht aus. Das Hotel ist hellhörig, im ersten Stock hört man ab 05:00 Uhr die Küche des im Erdgeschoss befindlichen Frühstücksladen, die Straße und die Zimmernachbarn. Dazu sind die Zimmer sehr klein.

Great location across the street from the angel of independence but the location is extremely loud horns,sirens, screaming music from bars and cars, protests across the street. Everyday there was something construction next door started every day at 7 am go absolutely no sleep the whole week and the doors constantly slam in the hotel

the room was as pictured and had a great view of El Angel, as well as ample space. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was a great touch! Prime location and very walkable. The entrances were a bit difficult to find but we discovered 1) an alleyway side entrance with an elevator 2) an entrance through Le pain quotidien with a staircase to the hotel lobby

The bad thing is there is no coffee in the room and they lack mirrors

The room was clean and the staff was making efforts to be helpful but it's an old building with poor temperature and sound insulation. It's ok for a short stay but adjust your expectations. I'd really appreciate a mini fridge in the room and knobs on the closet door.

Breakfast was fresh daily. Staff was exceptional which made it worth it. Rooms were cleaned daily and had no worries. Air conditioning worked well. Bed a bit hard, minor issue with shower. However, everyone was willing to do anything to make things better. Perfect location for us. Again, staff was exceptional and made our stay pleasant. Made friends, will return.

Patricio was great and very helpful. The receptionists were very nice.

El desayuno venía incluido y nos dijeron que rellenarían las cosas porque se habían acabado y pasaron más de 20 min y nunca llevaron comida… El elevador se tardaba mucho para llegar al piso que ocupábamos movernos,mi mamá es una persona de la tercera edad y no puede estar subiendo tantas escaleras y al final era mejor lo que hacíamos cosa que debimos evitar porque había elevador…. No hay jabón para bañarse ,colocan shampoo y acondicionador pero nada para el cuerpo….lo pedimos y nos ignoraron,me voy un poco triste del lugar.

Pesimo servicio, el personal de recepcion fue grosero y no resolvio nada, me dieron una habitacion sin ventana, a caso eso es VIP? Pregunte por la botella de vino y me querian dal una botella de 180 ml, es una burla que por el costo que se pagó, recibiera ek servicio quenobtuve, no me vuelvo a quesar en ese hotel.

check in was smooth and only lacked my free bottle of wine upon check in. Housekeeping did not stock toilet paper and we ran out of toilet paper in our room and called front desk for restock and they did not answer.

Staff was great help with anything needed.

Sinceramente es una desilusión total el lugar. El personal y la atención son pésimas. Me atendió el gerente desde el inicio, cero amabilidad. No cumplieron el horario del check in fue atrasado y nos pasaron a una habitación que no estaba lista!! La pobre señora de limpieza ni siquiera había terminado de lavar el baño y tampoco había puesto la cama. Puedo entender muchas cosas, pero no entiendo que se cumpla el mínimo procedimiento de confirmar la habitación para el cliente y que esté al 100 en el momento que se está entregando. Me mandaron a otra habitación que era la mitad del tamaño que la que me iban a dar y la que le dieron a mi mamá que también viaja conmigo, que son de la misma categoría. Luego me trajeron el vino que incluye mi habitación y sin copas! Ni nada con que poder abrirla, amenidades que evidentemente tenían las habitaciones que reservamos. El gerente de forma grosera me indicó que todas las habitaciones son iguales y que fue mi culpa no esperar que se termine la limpieza de la que me correspondía. Hubiera pasado por alto el tema si el aire acondicionado funcionara bien y si el agua caliente estuviera al 100. Con respecto al aire me dijeron que no pueden hacer nada para que deje de sonar, lo único que me podían dar es un ventilador!!! Y con respecto al agua caliente me dijeron que tibia es lo más que puede quedar. tal parece que solo por quedarnos 2 noches no somos huéspedes a los que deban solucionar estos temas.

Had amazing time while in CDMX! Hotel is very central to many things and places in the city!!

Hotel is right next to a nightclub with loud music and busy start for late night entertainment. On Saturday night, crowds were out and partying till 4 am. Then at 6 am the marathon started near the Angel and people with megaphone started shouting for the next four hours. If you are a party person, no problem. If you have to get up for an early flight and need the sleep, choose a hotel somewhere else.

Excelente ubicación, Justo frente a la embajada de USA y el Angel de la independencia. Por la zona es ruidoso incluso durante las noches, pero era de esperarse. En general un buen hotel muy cómodo y limpio.

Muy bien ubicado sobre el paseo de la Reforma, la habitación tiene todo lo necesario y se ve en buen estado, sin embargo había muchos mosquitos, no tiene espejo de cuerpo completo, en la noche se escucha el ruido del antro que está cercano, lo cual se entiende al estar en una zona muy comercial.

Tiene una excelente ubicación y el precio es competitivo para la zona.

The location is great unfortunately the doors allow a lot of noise to come into the room from the hotel itself, and I was put against the wall where there is a nightclub adjacent to the building. Luckily the music only stayed on until about 4 AM.

LA UBICACIÓN EXELENTE, PRESIONA COSTO 👍 LO QUE NO ME GUSTÓ EL LUGAR DE DESAYUNAR MUY CHIQUITO, SOLO DOS MESITAS.

Es un hotel pequeño pero bien ubicado. El desayuno incluido muy sencillo. El espacio de para desayunar es muy pequeño, solo hay dos mesas y adaptaron barra en la pared con bancos pero aún así es buena opción de alojamiento y cómodo.

This is a great location. We were in 206 with a view of the angel. The room was surprisingly quiet even with the construction next door. You could hear more noise from the bathroom but we kept the door shut and slept well. The front of house staff held our bags for the afternoon too. The continental breakfast was a great fast meal before heading out. Scrambled eggs, fruit, oatmeal, yogurt, broccoli, refried beans. Sometimes there was a host but cubiertos are always out.

Great location, but very little consideration for the guests sleep. Sunday morning, about 9 am, there was a girl singing opera with music from a speaker. This right in the middle of the hotel... She literally woke up everybody in the hotel. For breakfast, the little restaurant in the upper floor was unattended for about 25 minutes: no cutlery or plates, food line empty.
