Nice modern hotel close to plenty of shops and restaurants. Breakfast had a good variety of options. The coffee at breakfast was horrible so I recommend bringing your own satchels. Only other concern was the duvet nearly covered the bed so we asked for an additional one so at least we were covered! We were there mid October and the pool bar was closed but you could still relax by the pool. Overall, great value hotel for such a beautiful area.

Convenient to bus stop. Towels are thin,grey and washed out. Not enough chairs around pool, too many people in hotel for that size pool. Room was not ready 15 minutes before check in.

Paid premium to stay here for the rooftop infinity pool as I enjoy spending swimming each day back home. To find the pool emptied out and taped off after check in was utterly disappointing. Asked at reception what was happening and told hopefully back on tomorrow. As the saying goes tomorrow never comes. May Aswell have stayed in one of the many cheaper hotels available as without the pool it was just another hotel. Squeaky bed, mini fridge door wouldn't nlclose, bathroom extractor comes on automatically at silly o clock in the morning and is very loud.

Fräscha rum, hjälpsam personsl och ok frukost. Saknade ett antal grejer på frukosten,m. Tyvärr levde gymmet inte alls upp till förväntningarna, jag tycker knappt man kan kalla det för ett gym då det fanns en maskin som var ur funktion och i övrigt ett fåtal hantlar för styrketräning

Highly recommend this hotel. The breakfast buffet is excellent with a huge selection and high quality food options. This hotel is a new build and it has a very nice-fresh interior with large rooms. We stayed in a superior room with a sea view and it offered us a lot of space. The biggest bonus of this hotel is its location. It is located right next to the bus terminal which makes transportation convenient. The beach, aquarium, and dining options are all close by. Amenities include a cafe, gym, and rooftop pool but it’s unheated making it a bit chilly.

Excellent 3 star hotel. Immaculate throughout-level of cleanliness is very impressive, friendly and professional staff who go that extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. Only downside is the fact that the hotel only offers breakfast - no other dinning available.

A great hotel for the price. Nice, large rooms with a nice sea view. Breakfast really good value for money, lots of choice. The only thing I can say that let it down was the cleanliness of the bathroom. Dirty sealant and mould in the shower, it really could do with some bleach and a toothbrush!

Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Super goed ontbijt, zelfs bij topdrukte wordt alles direct aangevuld. Schone kamer en natuurlijk het zwembad op het dakterras met uitzicht op zee.

Leider war ich mit meinem Aufenthalt nicht wirklich zufrieden. Die Sauberkeit ließ deutlich zu wünschen übrig – das Bettlaken war nicht frisch und wirkte benutzt, und auch die angeblich frisch gewaschenen Handtücher hatten einen unangenehmen Geruch. Das Badezimmer hätte ebenfalls gründlicher gereinigt sein können. Das Frühstück war eher durchschnittlich, nichts Besonderes, aber okay. Positiv hervorzuheben ist, dass das Personal bemüht und freundlich war – das hat den Gesamteindruck ein wenig verbessert.

disappointing hotel! Booked a room with a sun terrace at a much higher price than a standard room. However due to the location of the room the Terrace never gets the sun! The hotel advises that the rooms are soundproofed....they are definitely not! The hotel advises that the rooftop pool has a bar, they fail to advise it is closed and the only bar is on the ground floor and seats 18 people. The sheets do not fit the bed! The towels start off as good quality and my the end of your stay are small, threadbare with holes! The hotel appears to enrolled into a timeshare / ownership program as tourists are constantly being shown around the hotel and fed lies that are very clearly heard...in fact I heard several times around the pool that some of the hotel guests were just general public and talked about in a degrading manner, but the hotel was happy to accept our money Would not recommend this hotel!

We were very happy with the room and check in. The large nalcony was great. The only let down was the pool not being very clean. After seeing it we decided not to go in.

Das Frühstück hätte etwas umfangreicher sein können. Mehr frisches Obst und Gemüse wäre schön gewesen. War sehr auf die britischen Gäste ausgelegt. Die Betten waren bequem, das Zimmer sauber, modern eingerichtet und ausreichend groß. Der Balkon war sehr klein und der Blick auf das gegenüber liegende Hotel und in den Innenhof nicht schön. Keine schöne Umgebung aber viel Gastronomie.

The hotel is good for what I payed. The bed was a little bit hard for my taste. Modern TV with streaming and casting. Very nice. Breakfast is as you get for bit playing much. Terrible English breakfast and basic other stuff. But again, you get what you pay. Clean all over. Staff Kind in a distanced way. Must be the Maltese way. Better than US where they are overfriendly. Location is OK, good bus connections around the corner. All in all I was happy with the stay.

We haven't stayed here for a few months. The standard has improved in some areas and reduced in others. Same great bed, the best bed in any hotel I've stayed in but they still don't have big enough sheets or duvets (neither are close to fitting the beds.) They still need to add a small table on the balcony for your coffee. The shower is lovely but needs descaling. General maintenance is needed in the bathroom (sink leaking, toilet flush sticking and descaling.) They have centralised the aircon and was very hot in the room (as central heating must have been on?) No way to cool room down. Breakfast has improved with lovely potatoes with fennell. Increased pastry section. Great, friendly staff still. They will bend over backwards for you. Very polite and cheerful. They would be so close to a 4 star hotel, if they could fix these small problems. Overall, it is still our favourite hotel around the area.

Vi valgte Mayflower grundet den fine infinity pool og fordi vi kunne få et værelse med havudsigt. Poolen skuffede ikke og var ligesom på billederne. Der var altid plads ved liggestole og god plads til at svømme i poolen. Vi havde suiten og værelset var også ok stort med en kæmpe altan. Altanen var dog meget intetsigende og alt for stor til to billige liggestole. Havde der været nogle planter havde den været meget mere indbydende. Udsigten til havet og de smukke solnedgange var dog værelset værd. Rengøring var ok, der blev ikke støvsuget ordentligt, men ellers blev værelserne ordnet hver dag. Morgenmaden var meget hostel agtig, så vi valgte at spise ude nogen af dagene. Området er dejligt og Bugibba by/square er få minutters gågang væk. Der er restauranter, butikker og god mulighed for at bade og kigge på det flotte vand. Busstationen er lige nedenfor hotellet og busserne går direkte til Valletta, Sliema, Mdina og Golden Bay strand, så der er rig mulighed for at komme rundt og se en masse :-)

Paid premium to stay here for the rooftop infinity pool as I enjoy spending swimming each day back home. To find the pool emptied out and taped off after check in was utterly disappointing. Asked at reception what was happening and told hopefully back on tomorrow. As the saying goes tomorrow never comes. May Aswell have stayed in one of the many cheaper hotels available as without the pool it was just another hotel. Squeaky bed, mini fridge door wouldn't nlclose, bathroom extractor comes on automatically at silly o clock in the morning and is very loud.

This hotel was just ok. The room was clean however it did take until 4pm for the room to be cleaned and new towels provided. The rooms are a bit outdated. The balcony was very small and overlooked other balconies at the back of another hotel. Service was a bit slow at the hotel bar. The hotel breakfast was disappointing, it was not good quality and not tasty - and a bug crawled over the table while I was eating. The best thing about the hotel is the pool area and infinity pool which were amazing. It was in good area, easy to walk to the harbour etc. I would not stay again.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. Rooms on one side of the building have loud music playing on until 11pm at night which seeps into the room disrupting sleep. They finally moved us after 3 days of this and conveniently after us contacting our booking agent about the issue. IRIA on the front desk had a sour attitude, was not welcoming and wasn’t a pleasant experience to have her serve us during our stay. Perhaps some customer service training wouldn’t go amiss. The pool was good but it can get quite busy. Breakfast and the cleaning team were also a positive of our stay.

We stayed for three nights at the Mayflower hotel. It's ideally cited to access the buses to travel about, or Bolt/Uber if a cab is wanted. There are lots of good restaurants and bars within a short walk. The entrance is welcoming and spacious with seating areas and the usual tour desk, but we didn't go on any tours as our primary visit was to relax. The room was perfectly comfortable with plenty of space and we really enjoyed the sky deck and breakfast! The sky deck is a calm place to relax with views over the surroundings 360! It was a bit too chilly for us to go into the infinity pool but other people did. The breakfast is first class! Lots of variety and very well presented. It's replenished frequently and the staff are very quick to clear and clean tables. Other reviews had made a point that the food was not very hot, but there's a microwave for guests to use so this has been addressed. The management clearly read reviews! The staff are all friendly helpful and polite. The general upkeep is very good. We would definitely recommend this hotel!

The English breakfast was varied both hot & cold items, The beds were super comfy, the A/C worked & the water temperature in the shower didn’t change once you set the temperature. The skypool & terrace were such a gift that it was tempting not to leave the property & see all the sites on our ‘to see’ list. James the receptionist, is truly a goodwill ambassador & was a wealth of information.

For our budget this hotel provided excellent value for money. Breakfast choice was adequate and the staff were friendly. The bus terminal was just at the end of the road so location great if that's how you plan to get around. All in all a nice place to stay.

Modern hotel a few streets away from the promenade of St Paul's Bay, close to a lot of restaurants, bars & shops. Great breakfast, bar & roof top pool, very comfortable room on upper floor with private balcony. Only downside was we were at the back overlooking another hotel that had a loud outdoor singer most nights.

Nice modern hotel close to plenty of shops and restaurants. Breakfast had a good variety of options. The coffee at breakfast was horrible so I recommend bringing your own satchels. Only other concern was the duvet nearly covered the bed so we asked for an additional one so at least we were covered! We were there mid October and the pool bar was closed but you could still relax by the pool. Overall, great value hotel for such a beautiful area.

It was a very pleasant visit, breakfast was excellent quality every morning and staff were extremely friendly throughout our stay. Their is an exceptional view from the pool on the roof. The only downside of our stay was when we ordered food from the lunch menu it seemed very overpriced for what we received.

Hotel is beautiful & constantly kept clean. All staff are friendly & helpful. Nothing was a bother to them. They were all very knowledgeable & gave good advice on places to visit & eat. Swimming 🏊‍♀️ pool could have been better if it was wider but i managed to use it on my own. Would have liked if their restaurant had been open.

Highly recommend this hotel. The breakfast buffet is excellent with a huge selection and high quality food options. This hotel is a new build and it has a very nice-fresh interior with large rooms. We stayed in a superior room with a sea view and it offered us a lot of space. The biggest bonus of this hotel is its location. It is located right next to the bus terminal which makes transportation convenient. The beach, aquarium, and dining options are all close by. Amenities include a cafe, gym, and rooftop pool but it’s unheated making it a bit chilly.

So much bad stuff to say about this hotel. We (a couple) booked a room months ahead and I selected one big bed. Upon arrival we get two separate beds, we ask them to change the room or help us. They refuse to change the room and blame us for booking the wrong room. They offer a double mattress but they will only change to it 3 days later, if we want it before that we need to pay 10 euro per night (30 euro). They refuse to change the sheets more often than every 3 days, and if you do want it changed you have to tell them otherwise they won't change. The mattress cover was dirty and covered in blood? See attached picture. Breakfast was not pleasant at all, not much to choose from and everything was tasteless. All the towels stunk vinegar which was disgusting and they had holes in them because they were so used/old. If you want to weigh your bagage in the hotel you have to pay 1 euro. If you check out early and want to leave the bags and use the pool you have to pay 10 euro per person to take a shower for 30 minutes. This hotel is SUPER greedy, the only thing left is to charge for breathing air. Staff is rude and never asked how our stay was and never greeted us. Rooms are super dirty and badly cleaned especially the bathrooms. The towels you borrow to use for the beach/pool area are children sized (super small). Please save your money and book another hotel, this hotel is super stingy and does not care about their customers!

Hotel good location but the air con didn’t work until I complained.. The staff at night were rude and quite arrogant asking what I was doing sitting in lobby even after I said I was a guest and just relaxing.. Breakfast was average

Good but to cold in the lobby and the breakfast area. Juice was to strange to deserve the name juice. But all in all OK. Nice rooms and good beds.

The hotel is nice and the staff very friendly and super professional. Deserves top grade but 2 important tips for improvement: Do not spray sent/perfume during cleaning. 1. People appreciate different sents and 2% of the EU population has perfume allergies (CHATgpt). 2. A good breakfast requires good juice, despite everything else being good, the juice is the worst hotel juice I have had.

Hotellet i seg selv var bra. Personalet var det få smil om munnen og frokosten var ikke særlig nevneverdig. Var også kakerlakk på hotellrommet.
