I had not stayed at a Tru hotel before and probably won’t again. It’s simply just OK. Seemed a little outdated and dark. Reasonably clean I guess but nothing stellar. Roller blind would not stay up in the room. Bathroom floor was a black tile with black grout, so just appeared dirty. Carpet was dark also. Bed was comfy and AC worked well. One girl at front desk.

Walking into the room, it smelled musty, the fan/heater by window would not shut off at all. I know they have a very simplistic, modern vibe do them, but it felt so cold, sterile, almost like a dorm/jail type of feeling. It was not inviting or warm at all. (I don't mean temp). The room was so small. We didn't have enough places to place our belongings like our suitcases and bags. The bed was very firm/hard, very uncomfortable. The bathroom was ok. We had a stand up shower, but when you open the door when you are done water would go all over the floor. Poor ventilation. It would fog up our window in the room part with the bathroom door being closed. Breakfast wasn't a good regular full breakfast. We normally stay at another local hotel where it is warm and cozy and inviting. They serve a full breakfast that is delicious. We thought we would try this hotel for a conference, but none of us liked it. I did not complain or tell the desk any of these things. There would be nothing they could do to fix any of them We just stayed and dealt with it. I was with a group of around 20 and none of us liked it or would stay at a Tru hotel again. There wasn't anything they could have done to improve this experience. Staff super friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay. Rooms were clean, breakfast was great, and most staff was very pleasant. Late/overnight staff was not very helpful and not personable.
