The hotel was amazing. We were able to check in early and enjoy coffee with the peacocks in the garden. The grounds are worth exploring. The pool is heated, so swimming is available all year round. The staff is amazing; so kind and helpful. The wine and cheese at 6pm is a not miss. I would go back in a second. We stayed on the 3rd floor and faced the garden. It is worth the view.

Old estate within walking distance of town. Great staff. Rooms could use a refresh. Shower head was broken and the drapes did not close. Parking on-site. Walkable to town. Need a taxi to get to the castles. Breakfast was made to order. Great view from the breakfast room.

Maria, Laura and Anna made our stay enjoyable and perfect. Great breakfasts, wine and cheese happy hours with Fado musical entertainment in the evening and easy location to walk into town and to the sites. We loved our relaxing visit—including the peacocks on property!

The pictures online of this property don’t do it’s beauty justice. The entire property is amazingly maintained all the staff are welcoming and friendly. There was wine and cheese every evening and the breakfast every morning was delicious. The property was close enough to Sintra to easily walk to town but a little bit removed to offer quiet relaxation on the terrace or by the pool. Since it is a small boutique style hotel it never felt crowded. We definitely recommend.

WOW!!! What else is there to say! We were a family of 4 traveling with another family of 3 and the rooms we got were amazing! We felt like royalty! Our friends had a huge chandelier in their bathroom with an enormous bathtub! Just stunning! Our room we gorgeous and spacious with beautiful touches, like a beautiful gold mirror that was also a TV. The staff was amazing and there was wine tasting in the evening with cheese and bread, we sat outside and enjoyed the views of the castles while our kids swam in the pool below. We ended up enjoying the wine tasting and views that we purchased 2 bottles and sat outside until late night! Such a great experience and delicious breakfast in the morning!

We had a wonderful stay at Sintra Marmòris Palace. From the warm welcome with wine for the adults and juice for the kids, we felt immediately at home. The breakfast was excellent, and the picturesque room was beautifully preserved in its original style while offering a luxurious feel, with lovely details like TVs in gold frames and integrated FM radios in the bathroom. The decorations and surroundings were stunning, and the warm hot tub was perfect for relaxing. The room was so special that our kids didn’t want to leave. 🤗A truly memorable stay — we hope to return one day.💚

The hotel is a great location, you are able to park and easily Uber or walk to wherever you need to go without the hassle of trying to find parking in town. The hotel itself is gorgeous, the breakfast was very good, and we were greeted by peacocks at the front door, to the delight of our daughter.

The room is nice and the garden is very beautiful. The view from dinning room terrace is super. We have our own little terrace with outdoor shower and kitchen. The breakfast is nice, and cheese and wine in the evening is very good. There was even a fado show. I would give it 10 but there was no hot water on the 2nd night. We had to shower in cold water. There was something wrong with the gas heater. Otherwise, it would be a pefect stay.

Gorgeous villa and grounds. Best breakfast of our 2 weeks in Portugal. The lock to the entryway of our lodging was broken and not repaired while we we were there. Also, the shower hot water was not warm enough.

Amazing staff. Rooms are old school and a bit goofy). ours had a bath tub in the room and a separate bath that had the sink and toilette. Tepid warm water at best and a rug that looked like it had seen some big adventures! Staff was super helpful tho and overall a pleasant experience!

Reservamos ma suite con vista al jardin porque es verdaderamente hermosa y la llegar es todavia mas bonita, nos invitaron un wine and cheese tasting de cortesia en el comedor que fue hermoso, todo el lugar y el servicio es de un hotel de lujo pero mas como un b&b de super lujo. El desayuno fue adecuado, nada espectacular pero cumple el objetivo y la vista del restaurante lo hace especial. En la habitación te dejan varias cortesias como Oporto y unos pequeños postres aparte del cafe, té y agua, la cama es de lujo. Todo de verdad excelente solo un problema, la habitación no tiene regadera!!! Eso fue una sorpresa grande, tu unica opción dentro de la habitación para asearte esa tina de piedra que esta junto a la cama eso fue muy incómodo porque todo se mojaba y la piedra es helada así que para tomar un baño de tina caliente pues no es práctico. Hay un baño con regadera AFUERA del cuarto, en el baño que se usa para la gente del restaurante. Eso hay que tomarlo en cuenta en esta habitación en especial. Se puede sobrepasar pero no es lo mas cómodo porque no esta en la privacidad de tu habitación. Desafortunadamente nos toco que la caldera dejo de funcionar en la mañana así que no habia agua caliente. Eso seguramente fue algo extraordinario que entendemos sucede, por ese inconveniente nos hicieron descuento en la estancia. Eso no fue cómodo para nada, pero siempre quedara en mi recuerdo lo verdaderamente hermoso que es el lugar y lo bueno que es el personal.

Gorgeous properties and rooms!!!John went above and beyond at checkin when I arrived exhausted late at night offering a cheese plate and wine as I hone had dinner! I was disappointed that I had not been given a room in the main building as the reviews said every room had an incredible view, but the rooms in the secondary building do not have a view. Also my room had a lovely patio and a full kitchen. At check in I did not pick up the fact that there was a full kitchen bc it is locked behind a wall!! This would be perfect for a group of friends or family. Also first night I froze bc I did not know how to work the heat remote . All that being said the property , and view from the breakfast room are stunning. I would definitely like to stay here again but would like to be in the main building.

The staff here is so lovely and caring. We truly enjoyed our stay, and the staff made all the difference. We also loved the property. It is so beautiful and luxurious. The location is great, next to the city, yet far enough that it is very quiet, with a beautiful view on the town. My children loved feeding the peacocks who love to roam around and hang by the entrance. Wonderful stay!

The staff here is so lovely and caring. We truly enjoyed our stay, and the staff made all the difference. We also loved the property. It is so beautiful and luxurious. The location is great, next to the city, yet far enough that it is very quiet, with a beautiful view on the town. Beautiful property in a fantastic location with amazing views. Included breakfast was fabulous, room was palatial and elegant. The only negative was the lack of curtains or blinds on the windows of one wall so it was a bit bright in the morning. Otherwise, excellent stay overall.

It was quite a disappointment and surprised about the very good reviews. The room was tired, you could hear all doors slamming and people in the stairs. Bed/pillows really uncomfortable. All staff seemed tired and uninterested, breakfast is really not 5*, cheap pre-fabricated stuff and service non existent. On the plus side, good location in Sintra with parking.

The Marmoris Palace was one of the most beautiful and eloquent properties that I have ever stayed at. Our 2- bedroom suite was incredible - gorgeous, very spacious, great views, and well appointed. The included breakfast was top notch, as was the Fado entertainment at night. I will definitely be back to stay at this incredible palace!

The Marmoris Palace was one of the most beautiful and eloquent properties that I have ever stayed at. Our 2- bedroom suite was incredible - gorgeous, very spacious, great views, and well appointed. The included breakfast was top notch, as was the Fado entertainment at night. I will definitely be back to stay at this incredible palace!

Maria, Laura and Anna made our stay enjoyable and perfect. Great breakfasts, wine and cheese happy hours with Fado musical entertainment in the evening and easy location to walk into town and to the sites. We loved our relaxing visit—including the peacocks on property!

We had a fantastic week’s holiday in Sintra. The hotel was perfectly located for a stroll into town and easy access the great restaurants, cafes and the sights of Sintra. Brill ice cream from Mica’s just outside the hotel. Easy train ride to Lisbon and the beach for day trips. The staff were very helpful and excellent service in particular Joao. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast full of choice everyday ready for hikes and touring about.

Fantastic stay at this unique and whimsical property. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, and the custom breakfast was a really nice touch. The property is walkable to the town centre but the hotel itself is very relaxing and is worth spending part of your day at. Would definitely recommend and return

We loved being on this gorgeous property and the staff was very lovely, kind and helpful. My only suggestion is add photos of the rooms that guests will be staying in online to not confuse them when they arrive.

The staff here is so lovely and caring. We truly enjoyed our stay, and the staff made all the difference. We also loved the property. It is so beautiful and luxurious. The location is great, next to the city, yet far enough that it is very quiet, with a beautiful view on the town. My children loved feeding the peacocks who love to roam around and hang by the entrance. Wonderful stay!

The pictures online of this property don’t do it’s beauty justice. The entire property is amazingly maintained all the staff are welcoming and friendly. There was wine and cheese every evening and the breakfast every morning was delicious. The property was close enough to Sintra to easily walk to town but a little bit removed to offer quiet relaxation on the terrace or by the pool. Since it is a small boutique style hotel it never felt crowded. We definitely recommend.

This property is stunning. It was previously a mansion and has been restored and impeccably maintained. It it spacious with beautiful chandeliers and marble floors. The surroundings are beautiful too. Looking out to the green hills and castles while eating a delicious prepared breakfast every day was rejuvinating. It is located in a convenient spot. Easy to walk places or you can catch the nearby train.

The rooms, the setting, the staff, the lush vegetation and trees, the VIEWS!!!!!! an easy walk to the cute town for dinner etc. The breakfast each morning is exceptional. The hotel is a great location, you are able to park and easily Uber or walk to wherever you need to go without the hassle of trying to find parking in town. The hotel itself is gorgeous, the breakfast was very good, and we were greeted by peacocks at the front door, to the delight of our daughter.

Beautiful property and gardens. Amazing breakfast, made to order and you’re overlooking a lovely garden with the resident peacocks. Wine with appetizers every evening. Fado singers on some evenings. The staff were wonderful, helpful and very accommodating. Beautiful rooms and very comfortable. We had 2 nights here but wished we spent more time here just relaxing at the property. Definitely recommend!!

I had high expectations about this place and paid fairly handsomely for a one night stay. But I was overall disappointed. My wife is disabled and there were no dedicated disabled parking spaces close to reception. It’s a hilly site so I had to drop her near reception and head down the hill to park the car. The room was spacious but the decor was bizarre; felt very 1970s with a strange variegated marble “Greek temple” creation hiding the wash basin. Great shower. Very large bed with decent pillows. But breakfast didn’t start until 8am and we had to leave by 9am to get to the airport. After a bit of persuasion they agreed to 7.45 - because we weren’t having anything cooked. I would have expected an earlier breakfast option for this level of expense. Gardens looked nice but didn’t get a chat explore as weather was ugly.

It was quite a disappointment and surprised about the very good reviews. The room was tired, you could hear all doors slamming and people in the stairs. Bed/pillows really uncomfortable. All staff seemed tired and uninterested, breakfast is really not 5*, cheap pre-fabricated stuff and service non existent. On the plus side, good location in Sintra with parking.

An absolutely gorgeous stay in the valley in Sintra! Marble everywhere, beautiful views, and an excellent staff. We had our flight delayed and decided to head to Sintra. We also happened to get a very good deal. It was the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Highly recommended.
