Great hotel within walking distance of London City Airport, so easy to travel to Canary Wharf or the City. The hotel was clean, quiet, and with a nice atmosphere in the bar/ restaurant, and the staff were very friendly. The room was a really good size, and the blackout curtains excellent 😊

Wonderful hotel, convenient and close to buses and trains. We had a king bed, decor was modern and beautiful. No parking on site, but available at a nearby Travelodge. Great customer service and eager to please when we needed extra items in our room.

A very good value, modern hotel within 15 mins walking distance of London City Airport. Worth using the restaurant as the menu is varied and also excellent value. Friendly and attentive staff. More convenient and cost effective than Heathrow hotels, so will use again when the connections take us that way.

Really nice hotel, shame there was no carpark but travelodge is 2 minutes walk and you can use theirs (for a fee!) Rooms were nice and spacious bed was massive and super comfy, and all decorated very nicely. Perfect for a quick stay when you need to be in east london.

Although next to the airport the rooms are super quiet. Not a lot of eating options around the hotel but Docklands railway about 5 minutes walk away takes you towards London. Breakfast starts at 6 and good selection of hot and cold food. No parking at hotel but Travelodge car park a short walk away at £20 per night.

Exceptionally clean throughout building, which is a must for us. Picked location to be near Brick Lane Music Hall. Staff friendly and helpful. Evening meal and service very good too. Wish we could have stayed more than 1 night, but would visit again if we can.

Hotel NO PARKING. £20 if space at travel lodge per 24hrs. Hotel is nice tidy modern and clean. £8 a pint of larger though. The world is dead. Stayed 2 nights the room didn't have any conditioner as it had run out. Needs to be refilled. Had 2 teas the next day they didn't give us new cups just left old ones half drunk. We had a take away as the food was very expensive downstairs the next day this was still left on our table next to the bin and not removed from our room so it stank of take aways when we got back from work. Wasn't offered my vip £15 credit at bar (had to ask) also no room up upgrade when clearly said I got one when I pre booked this room a month go. Staff brilliant helpful and friendly lora of equally nice people staying here too.

It was a very pleasant stay over 2 nights. We had breakfast in the first morning which was a good and fresh selection. Staff were really helpful and went out of their way to help. The room was very spacious, comfortable, clean and great to relax in. Lovely bathroom area - no bath but lovely shower. Noticeably there was no outside noise as the sound insulation was so good. Downsides are there’s no car park, the only one is the nearby Travelodge costing £20 for 24 hours. Perhaps a better rate can be negotiated for Marriott guests? Also, remember to say if you would like your room cleaned etc if staying more than one night.

Very nice hotel, but was woken up by someone in another room having loud music playing at 02:45 in the morning. We put the shower on and the bottom of where you step into flooded quickly and spilled onto the bathroom floor. But apart from that overall the hotel was decent, close to the city airport. Breakfast was ok

Entrance into the Courtyard Lobby was welcoming, with a nice smell, and friendly reception staff. Looking past reception, I could see a very welcoming bar/restaurant area with some sofa areas in front of big tv’s. We were allocated a runway view room on the sixth floor. We were apparently moved from a fourth floor equivalent, thankfully, as the view from the lower floor would have been more Docklands Light Railway than airport. Via the secure and room card access lifts, our view from the sixth floor had pretty impressive views of the Jet Centre and the far west end of the runway. But you could not see too much of the airport activity through the narrow window. The hotel itself pretty much faces the Excel Venue and is only a short and interesting walk from there. The room also smelt nice, was a functional and modern layout with a large walk in shower and spacious area to store luggage. USB ports for charging with bedside sockets. Large TV. Just failed slightly on the cleaning, with an old straw found on the floor by the bed and some room service food found stuck to the room service information card! Nice restaurant/bar area with good food.

We let the reception know in the morning but they were not interested because we did not come down and complain in the even, but we got there late and had an early flight so do not want to go back down in the evening. Very poor for a Marriott hotel.

Large bedroom and large very comfortable bed. Lovely wet room. No mirror on or near dressing table. Not sure whether we wanted breakfast but were advised to pay in advance as it would be more expensive next day. Why not just have one price? Could be inconvenient to get a refund if you were in a hurry the next day.

The rooms were soo good I would go again again. My Partner and I really loved but bare in mind although they say sound proof you could hear the people next door and I’m not the quiet type either 😝

We had the room with the view, and the view was really nice. You can't really see down the runway, but you can see the plane climbing up after takeoff. As for the room itself, it was very clean, nice and cosy, with a well-designed and pleasant bathroom. Would recommend.

Best airport hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The foyer was clean and welcoming, we were delighted to have been checked in early, all the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was amazing. A short brisk walk to the airport early the next morning. You really can’t get any better.

From the moment you walked through the door, reception staff were welcoming, our room was spotlessly clean, we had friends meet us for dinner at the hotel, food was amazing, Anwar (waiter) was tentative and offered advice, large comfortable beds, nothing too much trouble, we travel a lot and this is now our no1 hotel when we fly from London City Airport.

From the moment you walked through the door, reception staff were welcoming, our room was spotlessly clean, we had friends meet us for dinner at the hotel, food was amazing, Anwar (waiter) was tentative and offered advice, large comfortable beds, nothing too much trouble, we travel a lot and this is now our no1 hotel when we fly from London City Airport.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful. All the staff were professional, courteous and efficient. I’m fairly certain my room was brand new, it was so spotless. The food in the restaurant was amazing as well as being really good value for money.

Lady in the bar area was amazing! Reception was terrible on checkin, slow due to arrival volumes but help came after a call. Check out we were ignored by one of the team. Just not friendly or warm at all.

Great hotel within walking distance of London City Airport, so easy to travel to Canary Wharf or the City. The hotel was clean, quiet, and with a nice atmosphere in the bar/ restaurant, and the staff were very friendly. The room was a really good size, and the blackout curtains excellent 😊

It’s close to the LCY Airport, relatively quiet and clean. A good 2 night stay for me and my son. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom very nice with a large shower that also had enough pressure on the 3rd floor. Recommend for people who want to be close to the airport. Train to Center takes about 20 minutes and is also in walking distance to the Hotel.

Great location, as close to our airport (London City) & the DLR line, which gives easy access to all parts of London. Also, as you are outside of the main tourist areas, it’s quieter and cheaper. All flights end at 10pm, so it’s not noisy either. Hotel also has a nice bar for a late night drink.

Really convenient and nice hotel for the airport. Good staff. Nice rooms. Location being in the middle of London next to the airport makes it great for transport but there was a lot of construction in the area.

If you’re flying in/out of London City this is ideal. It is a seven minute walk to the check in counter at the airport. It is accessible by DLR Docklands Light Rail which is also about a seven minute walk away. The property was clean and what one would expect from a good chain hotel.

Excellent room - very modern fittings. Fantastic breakfast. Five minute walk to DLR station. Very friendly and helpful staff and well staffed with enough people to deal with guests every need.

Stayed for one night in a business trip. Place was lovely, rooms were very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing!! Had a cocktail and felt it was a bit pricey, but that’s just being in a big city I suppose. Staff were amazing as well especially a lovely lady called Lisa who worked at breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

Great location for City Airport. Room was very comfortable, very quiet and a good bed. Drinks were very expensive (£21 for a beer and a wine), and the breakfast could have been better.

I ordered fish and chips, the fish was terribly spoilt and smelt so awful. I complained and the kitchen came to retrieve the food. I was promised a refund, upon checkout on the 16th of July I spoke to the Senior Guest Relations Manager who gave me his card and once again promised to send an email and have the cost of the food refunded. As at writing this review today 8th August, no refund and no email update. This is terrible, serving guests spoilt food that could lead to health issues!

Breakfast menu was good, excepting the scrambled egg! Lunch service could have been more attentive, no one came to ask if everything was ok and I had to ask someone to come to table to order dessert and coffee. There was no obvious signage at all at the front of the hotel? We had to go in to check if we were in the right place. It’s a bit of a challenge if DLR is closed- buses and very expensive cabs as we experienced getting to O2. Wouldn’t stay here for O2 gigs again- my mistake though - hotel was great. Were given an upgrade to top floor- great view of the City airport and good soundproofing!

Instalações comuns excelentes, apartamento também excelente, limpeza diária com troca de roupa de cama , banho e artigos higiene pessoal. A localização é bem distante do centro de Londres, mas com uma estação de metro bem próxima. Não vi neste trajeto restaurantes, nem supermercados, mas isto não atrapalhou a nossa estada.

I recently stayed at Courtyard by Marriott London City Airport. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the reception staff were generally friendly and pleasant. Unfortunately, my experience was significantly affected by an issue involving missing personal belongings. I had purchased beauty products for myself and my niece from Primark and kept them in a paper shopping bag in my room. While packing to return home, I noticed that the bag and its contents were missing. I immediately contacted the hotel and was advised to wait for housekeeping the following morning. At around 9:00 a.m., I followed up at reception, and by approximately 12:00 p.m., I was informed that housekeeping had only collected linen and had not seen anything else. I explained that the rubbish had also been collected and that the bag could potentially have been mistakenly discarded. However, I was told that staff had seen nothing and that there was nothing further the hotel could do. I was advised to contact the police. The manager also stated that there were no cameras near the rooms, making it essentially my word against theirs. This was extremely disappointing, particularly as I was in a foreign country. While the accommodation was good, the handling of this incident overshadowed my stay. I expected greater assistance and a more thorough investigation.

I’ve now stayed at Marriot Courtyard a number of times and will certainly be doing so again in the future. The building is very modern and well maintained. The staff are very attentive and the food for both breakfast and your evening meal is ideal with a good range of choices. It’s also close to DLR links and the underground via the Custom House. So, if like me you were attending an event at the Excel Centre this is a great place to stay!
