Clean property with great lake access. Garbage was full when we got there and the host didn’t know when it would be picked up. Turned out it was Thursday, which meant we left a full garbage can for the next people to come. The giant tv in the basement is a little strange as most of the seating is upstairs. We probably wouldn’t have noticed except the World Cup was on, and we couldn’t fit everyone comfortably in front of the big tv. Also, it was 70 extra for usable internet. The internet was so throttled that the upstairs tv would lag if the kids were using an iPad. (Downstairs tv was either hardwired or logged into the high speed WiFi.) That said, it was nice to unplug. Very poor cell reception so I usually just left my phone behind.

We loved the house. We had a wonderful time. The house was clean, and is what we saw online. True to the pictures. A smoke detector started going off and someone was over to fix it within an hour. We’d love to come back and we’re sorry the house was not available next summer. Thank you,Debbie

The house/location was beautiful and found in great condition, as the pictures represent. We needed to contact the owner with a couple issues, and they were very responsive. We needed to switch batteries around in the remotes, which was a bit annoying and I would recommend bringing bottled water for drinking, as the well-water looked dirty.

After we booked we learned our stay would be two days less than it should be since check in was not until 5 pm and checkout is at 11am, thus making it infeasible to enjoy those two days on the grounds.Check in was horrible. We received no instructions prior about the door code nor any information about the property as to where things are, how to use things like wifi, etc. We arrived at ten to five and tried calling VRBO several times and after a minute of conversation we jeot
