Great place with some minor issues. No closet and you hang clothes on pegs on the wall. Air conditioning was really hard to regulate. Took a really long time for hot water in sink and shower. No microwave oven in room. There are 2 elevators but only was is operating and at times it appeared to be stuck. Positives were the fitness center and the laundry… both were nice. Coffee in common area was a nice extra but coffee was usually luke warm. Yogurt machine in breakfast area didn’t work one day and no one seemed like they cared. and 15 minutes before breakfast ended the worker refused to reload the pancake batter. Some of the cleaning staff walked around with sour looks. All in all breakfast was not great. Microwave in reception area was nice as was the “store” to buy snacks and drinks.

The hotel is right off I-95. Facilities is pretty new and has a great lobby with activities and coffee 24/7. The room is ok. There is no closet or drawer for storage. Only trash can is in the bathroom. The decor is very contemporary but not very practical for family.

The staff were extremely friendly and diligent, the rooms were clean. The lobby was very inviting and we actually spent time playing pool. We enjoyed everything, the only thing was the pool not being cleaned, and maintained. We cleaned it and told the staff because it was green.

Nice staff, clean rooms. Enjoyed they had games for the kids, pool & shuffleboard. Able to interact with other guests while sitting in the lobby.

One of the two elevators was broken down while we were there. Also, the hotel was overbooked and we received a call asking if we would take a double queen room instead of the kind we booked. Not such a big deal, but not deserving of 5 stars either.

Perfect for weekend trip to KD! Staff was friendly, hotel was clean, loved the games in the lobby and breakfast was good. We especially loved the pancake machine.

We were there the weekend of May 16th with high 80 degree weather and the pool was not open yet. One elevator was broken for the first 24 hours and the second elevator was not working well. The temperature I the gym was kept at 75 degrees and the thermostat was locked. That is way too hot for a gym. Breakfast was good and room was clean/well maintained.

Was a fantastic stay! We stayed one night as this was a stop during a long road trip. Would highly recommend it! Free breakfast, coffee, and parking! All the essentials are covered. Free EV charging was a bonus that we didn’t expect.

Me and my boyfriend have bug bites all over our legs that look horrible. We believe it could have been from sleeping in the hotel bed. Please check the bed for bed bugs or anything of that sort. Thank you.

The room was spotless. The staff was great!

There were several asian lady beatle bugs (they look like lady bugs) all over the room so we moved to a different room and it was the same problem just less of them. The sheets were not that clean crisp sheet, I wondered if they were really clean and the mattress was extremely thin.

The door to our room was actually open upon our arrival. There was still trash in the bins and sparing readers the details, I will just say that the bathroom was very visibly dirty. The TV remote was also missing. Unfortunately, because we had already had a long day on the road and we had two kiddos to put to bed, moving rooms or waiting for someone to come clean was not an option. We did call the front desk that night to notify them of the above information .

Not my first time staying at this location. The staff is very nice. Thoroughly disappointed in the cleanliness of my room. Sink in the bathroom was slow to drain, the floors were dirty, and there were hairs in the shower indicating the shower was not cleaned well prior to our arrival.

Will not recommend this hotel. Bed was dirty. Towel as well

The woman at the front desk was very friendly and check in was very quick, however that’s the only positive. The bed sheets and pillows were dirty with multiple hairs all through them. The shower had mold growing in the corners and had hair and gooey stuff all over the walls. The sink drain had the stopper pulled out and sitting in the sink full of gunk. And to top it off the air conditioner never got the room below 76. Very disappointing as the hotel looks very nice and new at first glance but the reality was it was very dirty and in need of lots of maintenance.

Staff was great, breakfast was good took me a while to get checked into my room and I reserved a king room and was given a twin room. Blinds in my room wouldn’t roll up. Hotel is in a good area plenty of food options has a Walmart whatever you need the local people I ran into were also very nice . I’d stay again but I’d like the room I reserved and working blinds lol 8/10.

This stay was not the best first they didn’t have the two bed room we booked (this will factor in later). We were offered either a king room or two king rooms. We took the one room as we are a couple and can share a bed. The mattress was super hard and the pillows were half flat before you even used them. After the first night we asked for some additional pillows and were told they might not have them. When they did find extra they gave us grief for wanting two extra ones, one for each of us. This is normally one reason we book a room with two beds as it gives us more pillows and we don’t have to share blankets. Overall we did not enjoy our stay as the hard bed made it tough to sleep.

Overnight stay on a multi-day trip. Easy booking and check-in. Decent breakfast. Only real negative was road noise from passing trucks (located next to truck rental facility) and a rather noisy air conditioning system.

Beds could be less firm. In room coffeemaker would be better. Convenient location. Quiet night. Easy check in/out on App. Convenient Bluetooth key and room controls from iPhone. Overall a good stay.

Clean Blaise both unrecoverable beds. I think I’ve ever slept in. They were like a rock and the pillows were terrible too.

Very noisy heating/cooling system, very loud fan was running constantly; I was not able to shut it down. Asked for another room and the same problem.

Overall everything was great! However, it was very noisy on that side of the hotel due to the interstate traffic. I did not sleep well at all.

Excellent professional and courteous service from both night and day front desk personnel…

The property itself was very nice and the service was good. The breakfast bar was exceptional . My only issue is with billing. The property charged $125 supposedly for incidentals but 3 weeks later had not refunded the deposit. I have made three calls and was told they could not see a charge, I filed a claim through my bank.

We don’t like to give negative reviews, but there was no one at the check-in desk when we arrived around 8:30 PM. She finally came after a few minutes. When the guest before us had to leave to get his ID, the staff person did not offer to go ahead and check us in. After she checked in the other guests, she offered them bottles of water. She did not off us bottles of water. She also charged our holding deposit twice, saying it had not gone through the first time, but it had. We pointed it out to get the 2nd charge cancelled. The room was very nice, but the highway traffic sound was very noticeable in our room on the 5th floor. The breakfast offerings were plentiful, but the eggs were fake and rubbery. My husband liked the coffee, but neither of us liked the eggs.

The front desk staff were super friendly!

My only complaint is that I couldn’t use the app to check-in or checkout even though I wanted to. Both times I had to go to the front desk.

Everything was great, except for housekeeping. We had to request multiple times just to clean the room.

The staff attempted to make the best but systems were broken

Everything was great...one of the cleanest hotels we have ever stayed in. Upon check-in the tv in our room did not work so the gentleman working the front desk that evening worked with the tv and ended up moving us to another room across the hall. It was no inconvenience, and we were happy he was able to accommodate us! The best service we have ever received at a hotel.

This is unusual but we were suddenly evacuated at about 5.45 am on Sunday, June 29, 2025. My friend and I were on the 3rd floor. The fire alarm went off waking us up. My dog, friend and I had to join others to navigate our way down the steps with no emergency lighting, go outside and wait until we could return to gather our belongings. There was no power, no lighting and NO guidance or assistance from the staff at that hotel. My friend injured her arm that was bleeding. Nobody I could see was offered any water or information. I could not officially check out or get a receipt of payment. We had to unpack our room by bringing everything down 3 flights of steps in the pitch dark with no help. Where was the emergency lighting? We were all in our own. The firemen were very helpful and let us k ow when everything was taken care of in the building. We had to be at a dog show early that morning and were unable to attend. I would like a refund of that night. It may not have been the staff’s fault but they surely did not do anything to assist us.

Our stay was uncharacteristically, almost laughable, bad. Apparently the morning of, with no fault to the lovely guy who worked the front desk, the entire key card system had gone down which meant he had to let us into our individual rooms by opening the doors for us which led to a backup of check in’s at the front desk. As we like the Hilton brand, we stick with them pretty frequently which led us here in an emergency where flash flooding, and severe weather made us get off the interstate. He was so incredibly kind despite the circumstances he was under. I didn’t even think about using our app to book as it was a serious enough of an emergency and I was more worried about getting us to safety. The AC was off when we entered and took forever to cool the room down, in fact until we were falling asleep did it completely shut off finally because it was over 74 degrees when we went in. Under the duvet and top cover, the bed was haphazardly made, which led me to believe someone had came and went probably due to the room temps and the AC not cooling down. We still checked for bed bugs and decided to stay as we couldn’t outrun the storm. This is not my typical Hilton experience and the room was not furnished in a functional way; no coffee maker but we did have a tiny mini fridge that sort of kept my salad tempid. I decided not to eat it the next day because it was not kept cold the way a normal fridge would do it. Ok in an emergency but likely won’t return.

The hotel was easy to find, right off the highway. I was traveling with my daughter, so I wanted some place well lit and safe. We were greeted right away and checked in within a few minutes. I requested a top floor and was granted that with a smile. It was a clean hotel and close to plenty of restaurants and we had a good night's sleep.

Overall not bad. Room was nice. Area around a little sketchy. Close to a truckstop so tractor trailer traffic.

The hotel is great for travellers in that it is located very close to an exit from Route 95. It is new and in great condition and the rooms have a modern functional design. I ur bed was very comfortable. Lavazza coffee in the lobby was very nice.

Virtually a brand new/very recently remodeled hotel. Staff was great. Coffee always on supply in the lobby. Location is directly adjacent to I95 so a little loud but unavoidable. Neighboring property an older motel. Seems the same owner for both.

Very nice property. Many amenities. Located where I95 can be heard inside the room. The other side of the hotel has a truck stop with over 100 running trucks. Excellent breakfast. Easy access to Richmond.

It was great going to kings dominion from there.

Great location off of 95 and close to downtown Ashland .

The swimming pool is dirty and not properly managed, the breakfast service and meal is not attractive at all. The employees looks like in rush to pick up all the food even while customers eating

The food for the free breakfast was good,their was something for everyone pancakes, cereal, yogurt,eggs,bacon, and bread for toasting and bagels, coffee and tea

If Hilton and IKEA had a baby - this would have been the result. But this is a good thing! Fun, funky decor, great public sitting space with fun games, good complimentary coffee, snacks available, clean, comfortable rooms. Free breakfast included.

Room was clean. Staff friendly. Breakfast had several different items like pancakes, cheese omelet, sausage, cereal, bagels, toast,yogurt, and juices.

Breakfast was ok. There was not a lot left at 9:45.

I always stay here and enjoy it, but this last trip was less appealing. Front desk was great, as were beds. But shower had a significant amount of mildew inside and showed signs of not being cleaned properly, no tissues left in room (box had like 4), shower door handle was really loose/wobbly and breakfast was very lackluster. Pancake machine didn’t work and there was a whopping one bagel left about 30 min prior to close. Why put out a whole toppings bar if you have no pancakes? Probably because it’s a large part of the offering which was once again not available.

Costumer service at the front desk-excellent! Very friendly and professional. Room was very clean and beds are comfortable. Hot breakfast was served from 6-9, and it was alright. They can improve on the quality of coffee, it tasted like water. We were very tired, and had no problem falling or staying asleep due to noise, but if you are sensitive to noise, consider the fact that the back side of the hotel face the busy I-96.
