Great location, walking distance to the downtown. Very cozy and clean contemporary style room. But very small pool. Definitely is a good choice for the next trip to Palm Springs .

I will start with the good, as I truly did like this property. The location was perfect - near downtown and the bars—ample parking, quiet, and big rooms. Service was quick and responsive, and overall a cute stay. Where the property falls short is the upkeep & maintenance. Several items/chairs in the house were worn down, wobbly, and needed replacing. (I called for maintenance right when I got there.) There were also remnants of tape from party decorations on the wall that nobody took down. The dishwasher leaked when it was run, and there was no microwave, which I thought was odd. One note was also that they built the "common areas" around the back of the rooms, so anyone leaving through the patio can walk by your room or living room. I wish it were all separated or enclosed. I could potentially be ok with this, but there are no curtains on our living room windows, so anyone walking by can see you. Which happened. With some minor tweaks, this could be a gem of a stay and destination repeat for me, but it's not worth the money if they don't fix things up. If the owners read this, please walk through this room and see exactly what I am saying. Investing just a little money will go along way.

Was a bit dubious about booking a hotel through an app without contacting a person when checking in or out, but it turned out to be a fantastic stay. Beautifully designed room and great communication through the app by phone conversation or text messaging. The only downside is that tiny pool but I was there in quiet season so it wasn’t a problem. Great location close to the city centre

We liked the modern style, spacious rooms and outdoor patio area and bocce court. We also like its proximity to man things. We did not like having a non-working door lock for 6 days and nobody on-site to interact with. We could also hear too much of the other adjoining guests and the small pool was non-heated so it was unusable (that should have been disclosed during booking). For a fairly nice kitchen, it was odd and inconvenient that there was no microwave.

Fantastic stay. Much better than a regular hotel. We had 2 large rooms with their own bathroom, a large living room/kitchen/dining room, another bathroom, all modern and very nicely decorated. The outdoor space is super nice and private. It’s like renting a little house! There’s plenty of parking space on property but also just outside on the street. Restaurants and shopping are a very short walk from the property. The communication with the owner was excellent. There is a key pad and you receive a code to enter. Each room and main room has its own door. I would definitely come back next time I’m in Palm Springs. Highly recommended!

Very cool property and super convenient parking and check in. Seems very new. The design is awesome but it almost seems unfinished with the plywood ceiling and cement floor. I will definitely stay here again and again.

We had a wonderful stay. Check in and out were seamless, everything was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The rooms were very spacious and a great price. We couldn’t be more pleased. Highly recommended!

was completely disappointed in my choice of booking here. They list all their rooms as Suites. Which is not true. A 1 Bedroom suite (my booking) turned out to be a basic King room. There was no desk to work at. No side table and chairs to eat or drink at. Only the bed and an armchair. I had to pull the chair to the edge of the bed in order to type on the laptop. There was zero privacy as the "patios" are all one big open back yard. no screens, no partitions. the guests next door have direct line of sight into my room from their outdoor furniture. The room also has a problem with those big red ants coming thru. I had a miserable time and it ruined my bday getaway.

Our experience at Avant Hotel was disappointing from the moment we arrived. The electronic key code malfunctioned, leaving us stranded outside. Customer service’s suggestion to manipulate the door only worsened the situation, revealing a low battery in the device—a concerning oversight for a keyless entry system. Once we finally gained access to our room, more issues emerged. The bathroom door handle fell off, locking my husband inside until I could open it from the outside. We also found tiny red ants on the bathroom counter, likely due to the rain. A sliding door behind the sink revealed what looked like mold, which the hotel staff dismissed as "water damage." Despite notifying the hotel within 30 minutes, their response was disheartening. A technician confirmed the "water damage" but no alternative accommodation or goodwill gesture was offered. Our refund request was denied, adding insult to injury. Customer service was equally poor, with sporadic text messages and a dismissive attitude towards our grievances. The property was awesome - even better than that the photos. The customer service was always responsive and fast. The suite was spacious, clean and comfy. The kitchen was fully stocked. Loved it here. Will definitely return in the near future.

Nice stay and amenities. The interior is stylish and has the necessities, but lacks simplistic things like Kleenex, bathroom nightlight, or a shelf in the shower for razor, soap, etc. Overall, totally would stay again. Good location to downtown w/ style and doesn't feel like a price gouge.

This is the perfect place for anyone going to Palm Springs who is not looking for a resort experience. It's basic, well designed, functional, and great value. The communication was excellent. My only disappointment was the lack of a desk. So many people work remotely now that it seems like a given.

The hotel is clean and modern. Cons: The bed was broken and I was contacted by the concierge asking about it. I hadn’t noticed yet and wasn’t in the room so I told her they might have the wrong room. They didn’t. The bed was thrashed. The sink only works at a trickle. The oddest part is that the first thing you see when you walk into the room is directly into the shower. Directly into the shower. Other than that, I really enjoyed the space. Pros: It was clean and I’ll probably go back despite the strange room set up. Communication was great and fantastic area just a street or two over from Arenas.

AvantStay is clearly a low cost model that they try to package as something trendy. I am not sold to the model i.e. no human interaction, bare concrete floors and raw plywood, no garbage can etc... I almost could not check in. Their app was not working and there aren’t any humans around. The cherry on the cake was no pressure and barely lukewarm shower. Thermostat was blocked.

I almost could not check in. Their app was not working and there aren’t any humans around. The cherry on the cake was no pressure and barely lukewarm shower. Thermostat was blocked.

We liked the modern style, spacious rooms and outdoor patio area and bocce court. We also like its proximity to man things. We did not like having a non-working door lock for 6 days and nobody on-site to interact with. We could also hear too much of the other adjoining guests and the small pool was non-heated so it was unusable (that should have been disclosed during booking). For a fairly nice kitchen, it was odd and inconvenient that there was no microwave.

We had a wonderful stay. Check in and out were seamless, everything was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The rooms were very spacious and a great price. We couldn’t be more pleased. Highly recommended!

Our experience at Avant Hotel was disappointing from the moment we arrived. The electronic key code malfunctioned, leaving us stranded outside. Customer service’s suggestion to manipulate the door only worsened the situation, revealing a low battery in the device—a concerning oversight for a keyless entry system. Once we finally gained access to our room, more issues emerged. The bathroom door handle fell off, locking my husband inside until I could open it from the outside. We also found tiny red ants on the bathroom counter, likely due to the rain. A sliding door behind the sink revealed what looked like mold, which the hotel staff dismissed as "water damage." Despite notifying the hotel within 30 minutes, their response was disheartening. A technician confirmed the "water damage" but no alternative accommodation or goodwill gesture was offered. Our refund request was denied, adding insult to injury. Customer service was equally poor, with sporadic text messages and a dismissive attitude towards our grievances. We checked out 40 minutes after arrival, documenting our experience with photographs. In conclusion, our stay at Avant Hotel was marked by numerous issues and a lack of customer care. We strongly advise potential guests to consider alternatives where their comfort and concerns are valued.

Fantastic stay. Much better than a regular hotel. We had 2 large rooms with their own bathroom, a large living room/kitchen/dining room, another bathroom, all modern and very nicely decorated. The outdoor space is super nice and private. It’s like renting a little house! There’s plenty of parking space on property but also just outside on the street. Restaurants and shopping are a very short walk from the property. The communication with the owner was excellent. There is a key pad and you receive a code to enter. Each room and main room has its own door. I would definitely come back next time I’m in Palm Springs. Highly recommended!

The property was awesome - even better than that the photos. The customer service was always responsive and fast. The suite was spacious, clean and comfy. The kitchen was fully stocked. Loved it here. Will definitely return in the near future.

Was a bit dubious about booking a hotel through an app without contacting a person when checking in or out, but it turned out to be a fantastic stay. Beautifully designed room and great communication through the app by phone conversation or text messaging. The only downside is that tiny pool but I was there in quiet season so it wasn’t a problem. Great location close to the city centre

This place is in need of a major update. The pictures are definitely not up to date. And not having anyone on site isn’t the best idea. Who only gives 2 towels to a room that doesn’t have anyone on site? Had to wait 2 hours for towels. The rooms are warm since they don’t want you to set the AC under 70. They provide a fan which is besides the point. The location of the bathroom is horrible in the rooms. If someone opens the door you’re giving a free show. The shower head was extremely dirty as were the walls in the shower (looked like mold). And 1 trash can tucked into the water closet? Come on. And no Kleenex? These are basics that even a Motel 6 would have. Screen door on the patio fell off as well. The fridge was leaking water inside. Very disappointed and will not be retuning. Wish we could get a refund for our stay.

Second time staying here and I genuinely enjoy coming here! It’s super close to downtown; it’s super private, creating a more intimate atmosphere. Clean, simple, and aesthetic (if you care about that!). Great place.

My husband and I were beyond impressed by the experience we had at the Blackhaus, It was like home way from home (I know that sounds cliché, but it really was.) From the comfortable beds to the kitchen utilities from the barbecue from the cleaning products and the cleanliness. The property was extremely clean and was very quiet.
