Blacksmiths Cottage - ein Ferienhaus für 9 Gäste in 4 Schlafzimmern

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche im Blacksmith Cottage verbracht. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet und entspricht zu 100 % der Beschreibung.Zu erwähnen sind neben den vier Schlafzimmer, die beiden Wohnzimmer und die riesige Küche, die über alle Annehmlichkeiten und Ausstattungen verfügte. Besonders gemütlich machen es die Kaminöfen in den Wohnräumen.Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die aussergewöhnliche, nette und freundliche Betreuung durch das Team von Henry Adams, dafür unseren ausdrücklichen Dank!!! Wir kommen auf alle Fälle sehr, sehr gerne wieder.Wer das britische Landleben mag, wird dieses Haus lieben, welches perfekt zum kleinen Hafen von Bosham gelegen ist. Binnen weniger Fussminuten erreicht man den kleinen Ortskern. Der lokale Pub, das Berkley Arms, ist nur rund 100m vom Haus entfernt und lädt zum abendlichen Besuch ein.Es war eine wunderschöne Woche!!We spent a wonderful week at Blacksmith Cottage. The house is perfectly equipped and exactly as described.In addition to the four bedrooms, the two living rooms and the spacious kitchen deserve special mention – the kitchen offered every comfort and amenity one could wish for. The wood-burning stoves in the living areas made the house feel especially cosy.We would like to express our heartfelt thanks for the exceptionally kind, friendly and attentive support provided by the Henry Adams team – truly outstanding!We will most definitely be delighted to return.

The property was exactly as described. Very comfortable for our group of 7, including two kids and a dog.

Property was lovely. It would have been nice to have some Xmas Dec other than one small tree in the Lounge!

Ucky to have good weather for all 7 days, sat in the garden every afyernoon and had a few bottles

We stayed in this house several years ago and it was lovely. It is a shame that it is being left to deteriorate by lax cleaning and lack of maintenance. It seemed to us that the cleaners do the bare minimum of a quick wipe over of the main surfaces and that everything else has been left for months, or maybe years. We had to wash the cutlery tray ourselves before we could use it and discovered that the drawer underneath was full of crud. The oven hasn't been cleaned for a long time. The bins were covered in muck. The inside of the fridge and freezer had a layer of dirt. All the doors and skirting boards, radiators, windowsills and stairs were covered in layers of dust. The hoover hasn't been under the bed for a long time. The fireplaces were filthy, as were the drawers in the divan. There were cobwebs in all the corners and on ornaments. It all needs a serious deep-clean. As far as maintenance goes, there were several things broken or needing attention, such as the downstairs toilet seat, one of the blinds in the bedroom, the light over the shower and the paintwork everywhere. Some things were rusty, such as the light over the dining table and several door hinges. Some of the windows were draughty, despite being double-glazed. The floorboards upstairs were loose and broken, especially in the landing and the children's bedroom.
