Wij hebben 2 nachten geslapen op deze mooie plek . Erg fijn bed, erg lekker ontbijt en de gastheer en gastvrouw zijn hele lieve mensen die het echt leuk vinden dat je er bent. Je voelt je zo welkom als je verblijft in hun prachtige huis. De veranda is een heerlijke plek om van de rust te genieten. Voor ons was het een perfect verblijf !
Wij hebben 2 nachten geslapen op deze mooie plek . Erg fijn bed, erg lekker ontbijt en de gastheer en gastvrouw zijn hele lieve mensen die het echt leuk vinden dat je er bent. Je voelt je zo welkom als je verblijft in hun prachtige huis. De veranda is een heerlijke plek om van de rust te genieten. Voor ons was het een perfect verblijf !

We stayed March 17 and were welcomed by the 2 sweet pups and then upon our entrance we met with Vanessa. She welcomed us as if we long time friends. The home was beautifully decorated and felt cozy and welcoming. The room was everything I expected from the cozy bed to the spacious area to relax to the beautiful bathroom. The weather was great for sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch to walking around the property with Oakley the pup to walk with us. It was such a lovely place and would completely stay again! Breakfast was delicious and the coffee was the best I had had in a long time. We ate breakfast with both Vanessa and Michael and talked like old friends! Truly a lovely and hospitable bed and breakfast that I would recommend 10 times over.

The hosts Michael and Vanessa were amazing. From time we pulled up to the time we left they treated us as long time friends. They were so easy to communicate with. The breakfast was amazing. The house was immaculate as were the grounds. The dogs cats horses and even JJ the donkey were friendly. Wish we had more time there to relax

Loved everything about our stay at the Hopestead. The decor was lovely. The bed was super comfy. Breakfast was delicious. The hospitality that Michael and Vanessa shared was wonderful. My husband and I got to walk the premises and see the horses and friendly mule JJ. We had a great visit. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to anyone in town for the Jack Daniel’s tour.

Absolutely beautiful! Everything was great the house absolutely beautiful, so relaxing we hated to leave. Breakfast was excellent! Made some new fury friends also!

Nicest people ever. Amazing house with such history you can truly tell they love hosting people. I got there and had some work left to do so I sat out back(great wifi) and did my work while watching the horses, sunset and fireflies at night. Best stay of our whole trip

Great vibes! Michael and Vanessa have created a warm and inviting bed and breakfast. Our room was private and cozy for a peaceful rest. The breakfast was made to order and served in the dining room. Our most memorable experience was at that table visiting with the other guests and hosts. It was a highlight of our vacation in Tennessee!

The Halls have lovingly restored a beautiful historic home. They welcome you to a lovely oasis which is both comfortable and quiet - complete with pastures full of grazing horses and fun dogs and cats to spend time with. Breakfast is delicious. So much more than a place to lay your head - it is an experience!

The Hopestead B&B was by far one of the best experiences on our week long trip through Tennessee. The host Mike & Vanessa, greeted us at the door with an amazing energy & happiness. The home was well situated just outside of town and had a true country feel. From the moment you arrived you were filled with knowledge of the property, detailed plans about the layout of the house and property, as well as upcoming breakfast selections. The room and home were well maintained, clean and well supplied, with everything we needed for a great stay. Breakfast was served in the main dining room and delicious! Nothing says home like a home cooked meal! Mike and Vanessa were communicative, friendly and a joy to get to know. We even got a chance to frolic with the horses and mule on the farm. Lovely stay, lovely people & just an overall tranquil experience. Thank you to both of them for making our first time Tennessee experience a great one! We will surely recommend them and be back as well.

Could not have dreamed up a better bed and breakfast to stay at! The history and the architecture of the b and b is absolutely beautiful! The owners Michael and Vanessa are the sweetest couple and made our stay absolutely flawless. Vanessa made us shrimp and grits for breakfast that was to die for and I am still dreaming of Michaels coffee blend he hand presses! This b and b sits on roughly 50 acres with horses, a mule, geese and the cutest dogs this side of Tennessee. We staid in the Magnolia Room and it was so large and spacious, but yet cozy and inviting. My husband and I wanted to pack the bed with us it was so comfortable! While we were downtown Lynchburg shopping before our Jack Daniel’s tour workers would ask where we were staying at and when we said Hopestead they would go on and on about how sweet Michael and Vanessa were and how much we would enjoy them. They have definitely made an impact on the local community! Would highly recommend! We can not wait to go back!!

This beautiful historic home is full of updated luxury. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds ive ever slept in. The home has lots of open spaces for people to sit and read, play games, or engage in conversation. The bathroom is pretty, and the bathtub shower has excellent water pressure. I had my white noise tuned in on my phone to help with some of the noises that float up from the first floor. I also used it when a dog kept barking during the middle of the night. I would suggest bringing ear plugs just in case.

The house was built in the 1840's and is a wonderful old house. I rated it average for eco friendliness only because what can you do with an 1840 house. Everything was well kept and the owners Mike an Vanessa were fantastic.

This beautiful historic home is full of updated luxury. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds ive ever slept in. The home has lots of open spaces for people to sit and read, play games, or engage in conversation. The bathroom is pretty, and the bathtub shower has excellent water pressure. I had my white noise tuned in on my phone to help with some of the noises that float up from the first floor. I also used it when a dog kept barking during the middle of the night. I would suggest bringing ear plugs just in case.

Loved everything about our stay at the Hopestead. The decor was lovely. The bed was super comfy. Breakfast was delicious. The hospitality that Michael and Vanessa shared was wonderful. My husband and I got to walk the premises and see the horses and friendly mule JJ. We had a great visit. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to anyone in town for the Jack Daniel’s tour.

This is the perfect retreat when you are visiting the Lynchburg area. The property is a historical treasure that has been tastefully updated for your comfort. The 50 acre setting is peaceful and relaxing, though only a few minutes away from dining and Jack Daniel’s distillery. The hosts and the food are the perfect complement to your stay!

This might be one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. Here is what we loved 1. The hosts, felt like we were visiting friends. Loved them and had a soft spot for dog Oakley 2. The bad - huge and comfy 3. The shower - amazing shower! Could have stayed in all day 4. The Christmas toiches everywhere and all the picture perfect decor 5. Breakfast - delicious and the coffee was on point 6. Outdoor fire built just for us! We loved every single thing about Hopestead! Cannot recommend it highly enough. Thank you Michael and Vanessa

Great vibes! Michael and Vanessa have created a warm and inviting bed and breakfast. Our room was private and cozy for a peaceful rest. The breakfast was made to order and served in the dining room. Our most memorable experience was at that table visiting with the other guests and hosts. It was a highlight of our vacation in Tennessee!

The owners of this Bed and Breakfast very extremely courteous and friendly. We showed up a little late at night but Vanessa stayed up to welcome us. The breakfast spread was just delicious! We had great conversations with Mike and Vanessa.

The Hopestead B&B was by far one of the best experiences on our week long trip through Tennessee. The host Mike & Vanessa, greeted us at the door with an amazing energy & happiness. The home was well situated just outside of town and had a true country feel. From the moment you arrived you were filled with knowledge of the property, detailed plans about the layout of the house and property, as well as upcoming breakfast selections. The room and home were well maintained, clean and well supplied, with everything we needed for a great stay. Breakfast was served in the main dining room and delicious! Nothing says home like a home cooked meal! Mike and Vanessa were communicative, friendly and a joy to get to know. We even got a chance to frolic with the horses and mule on the farm. Lovely stay, lovely people & just an overall tranquil experience. Thank you to both of them for making our first time Tennessee experience a great one! We stayed March 17 and were welcomed by the 2 sweet pups and then upon our entrance we met with Vanessa. She welcomed us as if we long time friends. The home was beautifully decorated and felt cozy and welcoming. The room was everything I expected from the cozy bed to the spacious area to relax to the beautiful bathroom. The weather was great for sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch to walking around the property with Oakley the pup to walk with us. It was such a lovely place and would completely stay again! Breakfast was delicious and the coffee was the best I had had in a long time. We ate breakfast with both Vanessa and Michael and talked like old friends! Truly a lovely and hospitable bed and breakfast that I would recommend 10 times over.

The owner was very welcoming and has a lot of information about the history of the property to share with us. They were very nice to prepared and leave out a special to go breakfast for us before we headed out early to run the half marathon. This place is amazing. Michael and Vanessa are even more amazing. My wife and I experienced southern hospitality at its finest. The property is beautiful. Our room was very comfortable and Michael and Vanessa made us feel like we were visiting life long friends. We were in the area to visit Jack Daniel’s Distillery which was less than 10 minutes away. If you’re looking for a get away where you will be treated like family make a reservation and stay here.

Could not have dreamed up a better bed and breakfast to stay at! The history and the architecture of the b and b is absolutely beautiful! The owners Michael and Vanessa are the sweetest couple and made our stay absolutely flawless. Vanessa made us shrimp and grits for breakfast that was to die for and I am still dreaming of Michaels coffee blend he hand presses! This b and b sits on roughly 50 acres with horses, a mule, geese and the cutest dogs this side of Tennessee. We staid in the Magnolia Room and it was so large and spacious, but yet cozy and inviting. My husband and I wanted to pack the bed with us it was so comfortable! While we were downtown Lynchburg shopping before our Jack Daniel’s tour workers would ask where we were staying at and when we said Hopestead they would go on and on about how sweet Michael and Vanessa were and how much we would enjoy them. We loved every minute of our stay. Vanessa and Michael were excellent hosts. Breakfast was one of the best meals we had on our trip. Shrimp and grits! We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful historic home to stay at.

This might be one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. Here is what we loved 1. The hosts, felt like we were visiting friends. Loved them and had a soft spot for dog Oakley 2. The bad - huge and comfy 3. The shower - amazing shower! Could have stayed in all day 4. The Christmas toiches everywhere and all the picture perfect decor 5. Breakfast - delicious and the coffee was on point 6. Outdoor fire built just for us! We loved every single thing about Hopestead! Cannot recommend it highly enough. Thank you Michael and Vanessa

Great vibes! Michael and Vanessa have created a warm and inviting bed and breakfast. Our room was private and cozy for a peaceful rest. The breakfast was made to order and served in the dining room. Our most memorable experience was at that table visiting with the other guests and hosts. It was a highlight of our vacation in Tennessee!

Great relaxing 3 night stay at the historical Hopestead Inn. Michael and Vanessa looked after us with Tennessee hospitality, and plenty of local knowledge on where to go, restaurants, and attractions. Breakfasts included with the accommodation were a great start to the day. We tried all 3 breakfasts with the Shrimp and Grits a favourite. Only a short drive to Lynchburg and Jack Daniel’s. Highly recommended if you are looking for accommodation in this area.

A really beautiful home and property run by caring folks. The country setting is wonderful and seeing horses out the back window in the morning was very special for us. Great location with outstanding hosts!

Wij hebben 2 nachten geslapen op deze mooie plek . Erg fijn bed, erg lekker ontbijt en de gastheer en gastvrouw zijn hele lieve mensen die het echt leuk vinden dat je er bent. Je voelt je zo welkom als je verblijft in hun prachtige huis. De veranda is een heerlijke plek om van de rust te genieten. Voor ons was het een perfect verblijf !
Wij hebben 2 nachten geslapen op deze mooie plek . Erg fijn bed, erg lekker ontbijt en de gastheer en gastvrouw zijn hele lieve mensen die het echt leuk vinden dat je er bent. Je voelt je zo welkom als je verblijft in hun prachtige huis. De veranda is een heerlijke plek om van de rust te genieten. Voor ons was het een perfect verblijf !

Loved everything about our stay at the Hopestead. The decor was lovely. The bed was super comfy. Breakfast was delicious. The hospitality that Michael and Vanessa shared was wonderful. My husband and I got to walk the premises and see the horses and friendly mule JJ. We had a great visit. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to anyone in town for the Jack Daniel’s tour.
