Location is excellent right at boardwalk. Apartment was very clean and very large. Front desk very accommodating. Pool are was very nice. Cons are there is no elevator. Lots of steps to climb to second and third floors. Rooms need updating. Bathrooms are very outdated and in major need of repair. No safety equipment in tub/shower. Tub was slippery.

Perfect location steps from the boardwalk. The room was very tight, but clean with comfortable beds. Heated pool, bring your own towel. No beach tags, even though there was mention of them on the website. Bring quarters for the ice machine.

My family has stayed here for over 60 year. Myself the last 10 years.when we arrived This year the pool was shut done my the city. Saying unsafe and unsanitary. We were not told about it. They don’t clean your room anymore, make your bad give you clean tows. When asked they said they don’t do that anymore this is on the beach so our room was full of sand not even a rug to wipe our feet. We stayed for 3 night and had to ask for clean towels, toilet paper. What used to be an amazing little CLEAN place is now more.

Incredibly overpriced for really outdated accommodations. There was a window to a hallway in the shower! No grab bar in the shower made it impossible for anyone to get safely in and out of it. The carpeting should be removed asap. The parking situation was gross and very confusing. The late afternoon/evening staff were not super helpful but friendly. The mixing of pool chemicals near bedrooms was not ideal but that room was frequently left open. Pool furniture needs an overhaul. This could be such a cool MCM hotel but really misses the mark.

Rooms are standard traditional motel style so don’t expect much. There is nothing on the hotel website about additional children’s fees (although room occupancy states 4, you’ll be charged for adults and children over two per room). Website also says nothing about limits to number of cars per room (only says guest parking I closed). It only includes one spot and an additional car is $20 per day in an adjacent lot. For convenience and benefit of having pool worth extra hidden fees.

We never saw a maid for the four days we were there, Not sure why we would see them around, but they never came to our room. When I ask for towels, they were supposedly brought, and left outside our room And we found them the next day on a different floor Outside someone else’s room. It was Not a cheap room so I expected a little bit more

This is, by far, the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Having never been to the area, I relied on reviews which are very positive. I can’t wrap my head around it. The rooms are basically a cinder block cell. Our first room had the grossest, dirtiest floors, black stains all over the beds, and tons of drain flies flying around the whole room. I replied to a text I received asking how I liked the room and we were moved to an adjacent room with slightly less dirt and slightly fewer flies. However, most of the lights and outlets didn’t work. When I double checked that they were plugged in, I discovered the outlets were hardly attached to the electrical and the power cord had been taped poorly with electrical tape where it had come apart, so definitely just not going to work and possibly hazardous. When I woke up there were four drain flies on my toothbrush (my fault for being tired and leaving it out ugh). I cannot believe we paid nearly $500 for one night in this absolute he**. We seriously considered cutting losses and finding another location to go to, but since we had plans just spent only our sleeping hours inside and checked out first thing in the am. I wish I had any idea how bad this was, I never would have booked. Also, they had plenty of availability same day and dropped prices dramatically, so it was super great to swallow paying so much. I truly wish I could get a refund, but taking it as a lesson learned. Avoid at all costs.

Hair all over my bathroom floor.. we had 3 rooms in our apartment rental n 1 tv.. not good for family.. being on 3rd floor.. it took me 2 hrs to get a blanket for the sofa bed.. was not left with sheet ls or pillows for the sofa bed.. just cause we didnt want maid service doesnt meam we didnt meed toilet paer.. the one day we did get maid service she didnt give us toilet paper

Dump Dump Dump!! Walked into the room was hit with a mildew and ammonia smell, went to the front desk asked to change rooms. The lady was nice handed me 4 sets of keys for 4 different rooms. Every room smelled the exact same way. Needless to say I contacted orbitz and tried to cancel the reservation the second manager said they will consider giving me a refund which I still haven’t received. They’re not answering orbitz, do not stay at this dump!! I book all my trips thru here and never had to leave a room because of such a rancid smell.

We had a nice stay at the hotel. It was within steps of the boardwalk and beach. The hotel room was very clean. The hotel is older and outdated, however, you can see that from the online pictures so the room was as expected. The staff was very courteous and helpful.

The bathroom tub was not clean it had hair in there and a used towel It smelled damp. The air wasn’t on to cool down the room the mini fridge was on either which took awhile to get cold And this place doesn’t have enough parking that was terrible At one point I wanted to cancel and get my money back Very disappointed

The pictures online are deceiving. My room didn't look anything like them. When we arrived we were told they were out of towels and pillowcases. The man in the office was nice enough but hours later, still no towels or pillowcases. I contacted and he finally brought them down. Later I kept finding ants everywhere, my room smelled like weed when I arrived and later after being on the boardwalk for hours, we came back our room and it smelled like cigarette smoke.

We had a very Experience. The room it’s not too big, but comfortable for two or more. It was very clean. we had a fridge and microwave. TV worked good and the bathroom was clean and plenty of towels. We enjoyed using the pool. The beach is very very close and we were given a parking permit and tags for the beach.

This very dated property was very expensive for what we got. For 300 plus dollars we expected a more modern, small tv, no luxuries. Towels in a basket on dresser because there is no room in the bathroom. It’s all clean, just very small and dated. No chairs, but a large open storage/closet area almost as big as the bathroom. It’s fine/ smells of bleached laundry upon entry so I guess that’s good. Small raised level pool outside the room. Closes very early so we couldn’t use it. I have pictures and video but nowhere to upload it here.

Pictures are extremely misleading. Rooms do not look the way they are presented. Very small with poor quality storage. Very old. Looks like a cheap roadside motel. But staff is nice. Very very convenient and great location. This is the price I paid for that convenience. Please remove those photos.

Upgraded room was not great. Bathroom extremely small. Small room AC in only small window in room. Nothing to keep noise out. Tiny TV. Very little amenities. Although only 2 floors, there is no elevator. No safety bars in Tub. Office staff was nice. Hot and cold water was actually switched in room. Place is badly in need of complete makeover.

I felt like I was catfished. The room was clean, but very old. Couldnt open your curtain, or every other person staying would see right into your room. The pool looked nothing like the pics. We ended up booking a room elsewhere and not staying here. Just not our style. Pictures must have been taken when it was renovated many years ago.

We traveled with 2 toddlers, two adults. Tahiti Inn is the place to stay if you are looking for location. The room was a bit old, full size beds, old furniture but it was clean and AC and water worked just fine. Do not expect a 5 star hotel, this is a 3 star hotel but due to the convenient location, I liked my stay. Staff was very friendly, quiet at night, available parking and beach passes. The swimming pool is small but good for a quick swim after the beach. Again, the hotel itself is not worth $300 a nigh but the location is great. I loved the boardwalk and proximity to the beach, we felt safe.
We traveled with 2 toddlers, two adults. Tahiti Inn is the place to stay if you are looking for location. The room was a bit old, full size beds, old furniture but it was clean and AC and water worked just fine. Do not expect a 5 star hotel, this is a 3 star hotel but due to the convenient location, I liked my stay. Staff was very friendly, quiet at night, available parking and beach passes. The swimming pool is small but good for a quick swim after the beach. Again, the hotel itself is not worth $300 a nigh but the location is great. I loved the boardwalk and proximity to the beach, we felt safe.

We had to call and he police on the people next door they were throwing furniture all around and screaming all night smoking weed and drinking outside our room! Called front desk a million times no answer! Room was dirty when we arrived and the bathroom is disgusting! Pictures online are a fraud ! Tv was small as a microwave never never never again !!!!!! They should be ashamed of themselves for renting a place like this !

Super run down property. Sign that says smoke free property but yet smoking areas all over to point it just reeks of smoke. Lounge chairs are super old and uncomfortable. The shower they want guests to use to rinse before pool is gross and dirty. Communication with front desk is hard they either don’t respond to texts or not in office. We rented the apartments which were renovated but cheaply the night stands are like supported by toothpicks they are so wobbly. No place to store luggage or items. No shelves or luggage racks. They no longer offer room service to clean. So getting toilet paper, towels was difficult. Trash was hard to get emptied. Lastly their staff double parks behind guests so you can’t leave. Multiple times was blocked in when I needed to leave early. Would not recommend staying here and will not be staying here again.

I would not recommend this place to literally ANYONE. My boyfriend and I stayed there and were 21 and 22 which means you have to pay a refundable deposit, okay whatever. One website said $250 per person, we called two separate times and one person said $200 and someone else said $150. So they’re for starters not even consistent with their policies. We got there at about 11:30 to check in which is early so we went to get the parking pass and wait but they told us our room was ready, weird since checkouts only 11 o’clock. Our room apon arrival wasn’t too bad but when I push the shower plunger down I got green sot all over my hand that I had to SCRUB off. We tried to call down to front desk to ask what we should do with trash and no one ever answered, we called about 10 times throughout our stay. We also noticed that one of the beds had what appeared to be a vomit stain under the mattress in TWO places. When housekeeping gave us new towels one of them had FRESH BLOOD on it and another one had what we’re hoping was a coffee stain. We also had a nice little cockroach visit us on our last day! As if all of this wasn’t bad enough, you had to walk to, what was to us the furthest corner of the property to use the microwave and PAY TO GET ICE. Oh btw, that microwave was outside so hopefully you didn’t want to heat something up in the rain! They sent an automatic text asking for a review and when I gave them this review they never replied, shocker! Youd have to pay me to stay here again

My family has stayed here for over 60 year. Myself the last 10 years.when we arrived This year the pool was shut done my the city. Saying unsafe and unsanitary. We were not told about it. They don’t clean your room anymore, make your bad give you clean tows. When asked they said they don’t do that anymore this is on the beach so our room was full of sand not even a rug to wipe our feet. We stayed for 3 night and had to ask for clean towels, toilet paper. What used to be an amazing little CLEAN place is now more.

My wife & I were disappointed. Service could have been much better. No-one seemed to care about supplies in the room, or fixing or replacing a the bathroom light. (never addressed in 3 days) Parking limitations. apparently people overstayed & left cars in the lot the beds were actually very comfortable & room was clean, but the room was very outdated and not very well supplied with soap or towels or tp.

The motel Was very close to the beach, which was excellent. But it is very rundown. The rug in the room is very dirty And the beds were not very comfortable. We never saw a maid for the four days we were there, Not sure why we would see them around, but they never came to our room. When I ask for towels, they were supposedly brought, and left outside our room And we found them the next day on a different floor Outside someone else’s room. It was Not a cheap room so I expected a little bit more

Pictures are extremely misleading. Rooms do not look the way they are presented. Very small with poor quality storage. Very old. Looks like a cheap roadside motel. But staff is nice. Very very convenient and great location. This is the price I paid for that convenience. Please remove those photos.

Perfect location steps from the boardwalk. The room was very tight, but clean with comfortable beds. Heated pool, bring your own towel. No beach tags, even though there was mention of them on the website. Bring quarters for the ice machine.

Perfect location next to the boardwalk and in a fantastic neighborhood. The room itself was small, outdated, lacks in room amenities. Also, cleaning could use an improvement, . We enjoyed the pool, the pool was really nice and the staff was excellent. This is a great option if your room is for touchdown/sleeping and you spend most time out and about.

Our stay was short but enjoyable! The pool and proximity to the board walk and downtown shops and restaurants made our stay enjoyable. The room was clean and we had plenty of space, the kitchen was in good condition and we were able to prepare nice meals, we really appreciated the real coffee pot! The furniture in the living room could be more comfortable, the futon especially was old and if I stayed again I would want it to be updated. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They even extended us the courtesy of a day pass for parking and use of beach tags for the afternoon for a extra day. Very kind!

The staff was very accommodating, especially Gabriel, David, Ciaran and even the office manager by bringing some fruit pops to everyone at the poolside! It was refreshing and considerate of her for her guests! The place was clean and to my surprise different from last year…for the better. I have been coming there with my best friend and her special needs daughter for over 25 years!! And as long as I can’t come anymore, I will continue to come every year! Kudos to the brand new “Oceans Edge “👍😊👍

We had a great stay! They could probably maintenance the pool more efficiently, but they’re renovating so I’m assuming that was the reason for the lackluster job. Other than that, everything was great and the new rooms are really nice!
