Overall, very nice place. I had a suite room in the new building and it was spacious and clean. The Muskoka Bay Resort is also well maintained and the shuttle service to get around is easy. The Cliffside restaurant is also fantastic and would highly recommend. Staff are super friendly and nice. The room had everything you would need in a kitchen. The soap/shampoo was of high quality. The laundry also had the detergent as well. The effort is there to make this a seamless experience. My qualm was that the dryer had a lot of sand in it maybe from prior person. I had to clean that myself before using. Overall, highly recommend and expect to be back.

We were disappointed that our room was not cleaned despite our request this morning. Additionally, our room keys were deactivated after one day, which required us to visit the concierge to resolve the issue.

Well run resort. Enjoyed the rooftop lounge and the restaurant. The room was on the small side although having a washer/dryer was a nice touch. We understand that the building we were in was recently opened but our unit had the look of being unfinished. Double coat of primer and spots of drywall mud and the concrete roof had visible seams. Bathroom vanity was tiny although it did have drawers to store stuff - just not enough counter space to actually use it. Location was very accessible to the harbour and shopping.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Terrible Customer Service My wife, our baby, and I travel frequently, and this is one of the few times we’ve felt compelled to leave a negative review. The front desk staff were completely unhelpful. No information about amenities, facilities, or even the lack of phones in the rooms. Our accommodation was in a separate building, requiring us to carry luggage up multiple stairs just to reach an elevator. No porter service. The restaurant, pool, and sauna were all uphill in another building. Our room had cat and dog hair, which I’m allergic to. We also found what appeared to be a dead bug on the sofa bed and took photos. Electrical outlets kept tripping the breaker, which we had to reset ourselves. With no room phone, poor communication, and rainy weather, getting assistance was extremely difficult. The next morning, I asked the front desk for a resort map or directions. The gentleman replied, “It’s just one line, you’ll figure it out.” At checkout, nobody asked about our stay. I handed over the keys and was simply told, “Nope, you’re free to go.” We’ve stayed at properties with shortcomings where exceptional service made up for everything. Here, the service made an already unpleasant experience worse. Beautiful surroundings mean nothing when basic hospitality, cleanliness, and customer care are missing. Extremely disappointing.
