First, the place was very hard to get to. The name Tropical Villas and the address didn't get us to the office. It had a different name. Eventually, we made it by walking through construction areas full of luggage to the office to check in. A number of things didn't work in the villa: The stove, microwave, kitchen AC, One room fan, and the faucet in one of the bathrooms. The next day however, maintenance came and moved the microwave and toaster and connected the gas to the stove. The fan stayed the same, barely spinning. The only

Booked and pre-payed for 1 apartment with 1 King bed + 2 single beds + sofá bed. Arrived and they have a place with just 1 king + sofá. My booking was for 5 people and 2 of my daughters had to sleep in the floor. They said it was Expedia’s problem, didn’t have any other apartment and should call them for relocation (at 10 pm after 9 hour flight). On top of it, said electricity was not included and charged US$20 deposit for 1 night. Terrible experience, not the first time I see hotels blaming expedía for mistakes and not taking any responsibilty.

My experience was dreadful. I arrived to the hotel and asked if they had a room available for the night. I had accidently booked for the wrong night from hotels.com and since the booking could not be cancelled or changed due to the lateness, I asked if they could book me a room, and I would pay again. The genleman at the front desk said that he did have a room available for the same price. So I paid again. And he gave me the keys and took me to the room. There was water leaking from the ceiling inside the room. the banister to get the 2nd floor was broken and loose, the room smelled as if it hadn't been occupied in years. There was an unbelievable amount of construction going on inside the villas. I asked for my money back and he would not refund me the money. I did not end up staying and left to abother hotel. The man was very rude. My girlfriend asked to use the bathroom in the lobby while we were waiting and he was very rude to her. So ultimately I paid Hotels.com for 1 night and I apd for another night directly with the hotel employee, and I didn't stay there and I didn't get any of my money back either.
