The staff were wonderful and went out of their way to make sure you had whatever you wanted. There are plenty of things to do right at the hotel and you are right by the mountains if you want to take advantage of that. The pool is heated and you can have drinks by the pool. There are several locations for fire pits and the staff will help you get a raging fire going immediately upon request. The golf course was simply beautiful and if that is your thing, absolutely a must. The restaurant on the grounds was terrific as was the bakery for breakfast and goodies. The buildings themselves are 150 years old and are lovely to check out just for that. I would certainly return in the future.

This was a very nice, calming stay in a clean, comfortable room with many pleasant amenities. The staff was friendly and helpful and overall this was a wonderful experience.

Our room had a sweet porch with two rocking chairs! Loved the vibe in beautifully restored historic buildings with a modern refresh but old moldings and walls intact. Pool was fun with lunch offerings and the Babbler bar was hopping, great place for a bite and a drink. Went to a wedding nearby so it was our first time to the area, beautiful scenery!

Family Weekend Getaway. This is our 4th time at this property. Our first time was a year ago during Memorial Day Weekend. Although it was a very droopy weekend, Wylder made it an unforgettable moment . Enough to come back several times. May 16 weekend was one if the best, the weather was perfect, the food as always delicious and the staff amazing. Wylder will always be a perfect location with or without kids/furry babies . I am all ready looking for our next weekend getaway.
